Lan stroked Kane's hair and whispered into his hair. "It's okay, grab my fur and cry. You can cry in the arms of your lover" he said as he petted Kane's side.

Zayroen Ryzil smirked and grasped the angel's wings "your palying with fire Wings" he warned before yanking him into a kiss and pushing him back onto the table Lucca chuckled and parted the kiss "I thought you where cold...?" He asked ironicaly and kissed the demon taking his shirt off "Anyway...I'm not afraid to get burn...Moody"

Kane held Lan closer and leaned into his shoulder. He did not sob, but let the tears flow slowly and silently. Lan's words had comforted him and he no longer felt scared of himself. He had always worried if it would happen again; if he would hurt someone again. Now that he could cry, cry freely about his pains and troubles, they did not seem so horrible as they had. "Hmm," he breathed into Lan's shoulder, "you chase me demons away for me like my kinght in shining armour."

"And you are mine. You saved me a few times" Lan said as he petted Kane. He looked over at Ryzil and Lucca. "Looks like their having as much fun as we do" he said as he kissed Kane. Running his hand through Kane's hair, he tried to sooth him.

Kane felt his muscles relax under Lan's touch. "I suppose we're even then," he said with a smile. Looking over his shoulder at the other two, he said, "You're right. Wow, and angel and a demon. Well, stranger things have happened," he said ambiguously as he laid his head back down on Lan's chest.

Lan smiled and rolled over so he was on top of Kane. Smiling, he leaned down and kissed Kane's neck. "You don't need to worry. Just like I don't need to" he said as he gently nipped at Kane's neck.

Looking up at the ceiling, Kane asked, "Lan? Where do you think people go when they die?" Kane had heard all of the strange things human said about heaven being the afterlife's destination, but he knew that was impossible. Angels live and die in heaven, and there aren't many humans up there from the stories his parents told him. "Do you think maybe life just ends and that's it?"

Lan pulled off of Kane's neck for a second. "I believe they go to their own personal heaven. Whether its a location, a time,........or with someone they love" he said as pulled Kane's arms out and held them down as he started to kiss his neck again. "Like with you"

"I gues so," Kane said, somewhat detached. He was not looking at Lan, but staring past him at the high ceiling. He was in one of his moods now; questioning life, matter, reason. In any case, it did not usually end out good. Sighing, he gave Lan an empty peck on the cheek.

Lan stopped kissing and sat up in Kane's lap. He twitched his ears. "What's wrong sweety? Something's bothering you" he said as he quizically tilted his head.

Kane's eyes seemed sad. He was not smiling, but not particularly frowning either. "I don't know. I guess I just ...I want to know the meaning of life. And even though I say that," he finished gruffly, "I always thought life had no meaning."

Lan blushed and put his hand under Kane's chin. "Im saying this cuz it's true, not romantic: You are my meaning of life" he said as he rested his hand on Kane's thigh.

The angel said as he started kissing the other again
