Related to previous post: I was posing an ineffable experience. So I added some recursion. That's a measure of how ineffable it was. It's not my fault if some of us don't get my sense of irony, error-dot-tar.
Related to the subject of the previous post. Sometimes things are more complicated than they seem. Sometimes they're not.
Completely unrelated to previous post: Sometimes good code stinks.

CuAnnan So I added some recursion. I still have the hardest time explaining the concept to other people. I get it myself and have used it numerous times in my code, but when someone asks me what it is and I explain it to them? They just go o_O at me.

Recursive Paradox CuAnnan So I added some recursion. I still have the hardest time explaining the concept to other people. I get it myself and have used it numerous times in my code, but when someone asks me what it is and I explain it to them? They just go o_O at me. In order to first understand recursion, you must understand recursion. Give a practical example. Factorial. n! is defined such that n! = (n)*(n-1)*(n-2)....1 So in recursion, that works out that function fact(int) { if(int ==1) return 1; return int*fact(int-1) }
yah?

Is it normal to see diamond-like patterns in all the strings of 1s and 0s?

Run and skip, jump and fall You think you’re tall But you’re so small Mother calls for supper, No more play Soon they’ll come tomorrow Another day
Singin’ hay ladida, oh ladidi Oly otindo and ali oxen free Oh I can run faster than Jimmy Brown I’m the queen of the mountain And you’ll never get me down.
Gotta get up early Got a lot to do Gonna build a castle And go to the zoo Visit Mother Goose And storybook land Why does mommy hold my hand?
Singin’ hay ladida, oh ladidi Oly otindo and ali oxen free Oh I can run faster than Jimmy Brown I’m the queen of the mountain And you’ll never get me down.
I’m pretty old now Five and a half Gonna be like Daddy And never laugh Cuz when you’re old You’ve got to be strong You’re not a child for very long
Singin’ hay ladida, oh ladidi Oly otindo and ali oxen free Oh I can run faster than Jimmy Brown I’m the queen of the mountain And you’ll never get me down.
I’m full grown now, On my own, How I wish I could Go back home And play all day With my old friends Why does childhood have to end?
Singin’ hay ladida, oh ladidi Oly otindo and ali oxen free Oh I can run faster than Jimmy Brown I’m the queen of the mountain And you’ll never get me down.

yah? Ahhhh. You know, I'm sort of amazed I never thought of giving examples. x_x Sometimes I'm a shitty teacher.

To me, anything in any form of computer-related code is completely ineffable.
I've discovered a certain way of listening to music where you let go of yourself completely, stop listening to the music, and instead just feel what it does to you.
