Syn was busy handling some paperwork at his desk while the television droned on in the background about the young idol who had been murdered. He paused in what he was doing to look at the TV, a frown forming on his face. He wondered if this was the case Morgan was working on. He thought about it and decided that it probably was. He sent a message to Morgan, asking how his day was going so far before deciding to get back to work, greeting those who came into the hospital and who left. So far, the day was going great and he found himself liking the calm atmosphere. Sure, there were patients bit it was nothing like the emergency room back at Amore, which was always busy and hectic. He had been surprised that he hadn't had a nervous breakdown after the first week. He continued with his work, snacking on a few sandwiches and snacks that he had brought with him as he didn't know anything about the cafeteria which he would check out on his break. Until then, he was just happy to sit here, doing what he was supposed to do.

Syn was happy to chat with Morgan until it was time for him to get back to work. His day had gotten more interesting when a young couple had all but hurked themselves into the hospital. Apparently, the woman, a red-haired elf was going into labor and he quickly jumped into action getting the doctors and a nurse to help out. The husband, also a elf but with pale green hair, was nervous as hell as looked like he could use a shot of something strong. Poor man. He made sure to keep him calm before one of the nurses came to the waiting room, asking for his help. Apparently, the labor had stalled and the little one was stuck. He quickly headed to the delivery room, rolling up his sleeves, the father right behind him as he was worried for his wife and child. They had to put on scrubs and gloves and he was in. The husband stood to the side in worried as he used his magic to help the birth but he also had to reach in and wiggle the child out. After several grueling minutes, the baby popped out, wailing his head off. He had the father snip the umbilical cord before cleaning him off, checking everything else and then placed him in the arms of his mother. They thanked him for saving both third lives and he just nodded before walking out to clean up. The rest of the day got even crazier. So much for peaceful.

Syn had been very busy in the last couple of hours. So far he had helped deliver 3 newborns, bring a woman from back from the brink of death, help 5 children with colds and two surgeries. By the time the hours ended, he was tired. If he saw the inside of another operating room, it would be too soon. With that thought, he sank into his chair with a sigh, leaning back into it with a groan. Yep. He was going to need a long, hot bath after this. After resting, he got back to the paperwork that had piled up somehow on his desk while he had been busy. How it got there he had no clue as he knew it wasn't there before everything got hectic. Sigh. Oh, well. With that, he got to work but not before making himself some coffee to help him keep going. He was going to need it at this point. While doing this, he wondered what Morgan was up to. He had been thinking about him a lot today. Especially after that date last night.Occ:
