Skye sighed, he had to seriously think this through. He was fighting his upbringing and instincts as it was. "I don't know.... There are just so many variables to this." He started to pace a little as he whizzed through the many scenarios that could go on in a matter of hours. Most of them, at least in his head, ended with people dead or bloody. He never really came out on top, even if he wasn't the one getting killed.

Lyle placed a hand on his arm to stop him from pacing. "If you love me, then trust me with this. Please?" She said softly, looking at him with a small smile. She really wanting Skye to trust her with this and not stress out about what might happen.

Skye bit his lip, everything in his body was screaming NO. But he nodded all the same. He had to trust her, even if there was so many things wrong with it. His stomach started to do summer salts and he felt nauseous in agreeing to it.

A small smile curved it's way onto Lyle's face as she grabbed his hand again. She was glad that he was taking a risk in trusting her with something as big as this, but it if came down to it, she would give her life for him. "I love you." She said softly as the smile grew.

"I love you too." Skye pulled their hands to his lips and kissed the back of hers. He was trusting her with all he had. He hoped that this wouldn't back fire on him.

Lyle blushed and smiled; she loved how he could make her feel like a princess. "Should we stop at your apartment for anything?" She asked softly, wanting to delay getting home as long as possible. She knew she promised to be back by dinner, but she was nervous in how everything would go.

"Only if you think I should change?" Skye couldn't think of anything he needed, other then a bigger knife that he wasn't supposed to bring. He probably should drop something off but then again he was just going to hand it over to Lyle.

"I like what you're wearing." She complimented with a smile. "I guess we should go buy a pie and head back to my place then?" She questioned herself rather than questioning him. Now that all this was going to really happy, Lyle wasn't sure if this should happen. Yes, she wanted peace between her kind and hunters, but she knew that Skye wasn't okay with this, and it was turning her stomach upside down.

Skye was watching her closely and could tell something was wrong. "Hey.... What ya thinking about?" He gave her hand a small squeeze.

"About which pie to bribe my aunt with." She said as they began walking about. It was part of the trust, so not a complete lie. Lyle was thinking of what kind of pie to buy to sugar coat the situation. Though, somewhere in the back of her mind, she knew that the bribe wasn't going to work.

Skye knew there was something else too it but if she wanted to ignore it or just not talk about it he wasn't going to push it, not with the s**t storm they were headed for. "What is her favorite?" He asked her.

"I'm not really sure." She said softly, thinking that it was bad that she doesn't even know her own aunt that well.

"Hummm well then we'll just have to pick the best one we can find." Skye was trying to make it a lighter mood. Like he wasn't going into the eye of the storm and the girl next to him was the only prayer he had because she had talked him into giving up any kind of weapon. He tried to think of this as something normal, he was only going to meet Lyle's aunt, nothing supernatural about either of them. The woman just hated people that dated her niece. If only he actually believed that.

"That sounds like a plan." She said softly, keeping her eyes open for a bakery or foods store. She was too nervous and worried to use her nose for something like this.

"Come on there should be a bakery just around the corner." Skye gave her hand a small squeeze. His stomach was so upset he didn't think he was going to be able to eat.
