Somuka was sure that something was wrong. She felt that a dangerous presence was near, but she couldn't see anything. Well, the presence can't always be seen anyway. Whatever the trouble was, she just had to make sure that it didn't hurt Olan. That would be a bit hard to do, but she'll have to try. There was nothing else to be done anyway.

Demitri zipped as fast as she could toward the hide out. Then she finally remembered after landing in Dustynn's room and looking around that her brother wasn't there at all. He was at... ooh, what was it called? He was at that girl Sheila's hideout. Instantly, she began to fly over there. But on the way, something collided with her spirit energy, sending her reeling into a half comatose. Now nobody was going to tell Dustynn that the Devil was heading straight for him, and he didn't have a ghost to protect him.
Dustynn suddenly had a huge migraine. It hurt just to look at Sheila now, and he could feel his eyes squinting under the lights. What was wrong? He had never felt this kind of pain before. The only person that he knew to have this type of migraines were Demitri. Demitri. Oh crap. "Excuse me for a moment. Our liaison, Michael, shall continue negotiations." Dustynn muttered under his breath, standing up from the table and walking towards the bathroom.

Olan was sure that something was wrong, but he couldn't figure out who. He would have walked back to the room to see if Dustynn was still there, but it seems he wouldn't be able to. Besides, wouldn't Demitri-san take care of Dustynn in case something happened? In that case, he should just trust her, right? But what if she couldn't make it in time?
Somuka knew her brother was worried, but there wasn't much she could do. If she left, she might be seen and maybe whatever the problem was would go after Olan. If she stayed, Dustynn could be protected if his sister was there. It was probably better to stay where she was then.

As soon as Dustynn got inside the bathroom, he pushed up against the wall and stared into the mirror. His eyes became that clouded black that allowed him to take on the same qualities as his sister. But that just made his headache worse. But something was flickering on his forehead. He reached up, but nothing was on his fingers. It was Demitri's... something has happened... but what?

'Somuka, do you think something's wrong?' Olan thought, looking over his shoulder to look his sister in the eyes. He couldn't really see her, but he knew she was there. The air near his shadow was cold. 'Is it all right if I ask you to make sure Dustynn's okay?' His thoughts probably sound nervous, and he very much was nervous.
"You know I can't," Somuka whispered in reply. "If I leave, you'll be vulnerable to danger. That Demon could be watching even now." She could understand why Olan would make that kind of request, but didn't he think about his own safety first?

Dustynn stared harder into the mirror, ignoring the throbbing pain as he glared at his forehead. Soon, the flickering image became almost solid, and Dustynn could see that it was a trail of blood. Something had gotten to Demitri. Only other demons or spirits could hurt spirits. Dustynn's first guess was that it was the Demon from earlier. And now, Dustynn was the vulnerable kid just asking to be dragged into Hell.

After a long talk with her brother, a reluctant Somuka finally agreed to find Dustynn. She didn't want to leave Olan in the first place, but he was just so persuasive. Even now she had a hard time going against him, but she mainly blamed the way his eyes turned all puppy-like. She had expected him to forget that trick a long time ago.
"I should have prepared for this," Somuka muttered to herself. Of course, she wouldn't leave Olan completely alone. Since her brother had her locket with him, he had apparently found it in the ruins at some point, she would know exactly what was going on where he was. Thank goodness.

A smashing sound was heard above him as part of the ceiling caved in. Dustynn didn't even have to turn around to see the demon glaring back at him in the mirror. But instead of cowering in fear, the boy turned around with a vengeance in his eye and almost cold and dark hatred directed at the monster.
"Did I do something to you that would merit hurting my sister?" The boy hissed. "I thought I told you that it was just you and me. You leave Olan and Demitri out of this. Oh, and Somuka." Dustynn quickly added before the demon got any ideas.

"Don't expect me to listen to you," the Demon said, glaring at the pest. "It's about time to get rid of all the peace and happiness in this world, and I intend to get the job done." Of course, he would need to get the Vessel boy to cooperate.
Somuka heard some kind of noise in one direction of the halls, particularly in a room. As she approached, she eavesdropped on the conversation going on. So it looks like the Demon is here after all, but he doesn't seem to notice that Olan is unprotected.
'Oh great,' Somuka thought. Now she was in conflict between staying and making sure Dystynn didn't get hurt and going back to protect Olan. So far, the urge to go back to Olan was much stronger than the apparent obligation to stay.

Dustynn looked at the demon with wide and emotionless eyes. "Did I ever tell you that I'm gay." Dustynn said quietly. "And that you're incredibly sexy looking today." The boy continued on his little lie. This was probably something that would throw the demon off completely or fly him into such a rage that he would try to kill Dustynn instead of going after Olan. Either way, the diversion had to work.

Hearing what was going on, Somuka just had to laugh, especially at the Demon's annoyance. Just the atmosphere told her that he was confused. Well, who wouldn't be with that comment? To many, it was just plain strange and uncalled for. But she somewhat wished Dustynn never said that.
'Way to go,' she thought. 'You just got on the bad side of a dangerous deity.' It was somewhat a good thing she was there, or Dustynn might be killed later. So far, there was no far-off distress, so that means Olan was still safe. Somuka pretty much had all the free time she needed.

"But seriously, sweet heart, your nails need some color to them. I mean, they're perfectly fine the way they are, but why don't you french them red? I mean, really, everybody could use some color in their wardrobe." Dustynn continued, looking at his own nails in almost utter disgust. How oxi-moron... he had no color on his nails except for a clear enamel. Very suave Dustynn, very suave.

Somuka continuously peeked to see the Demon's confused and annoyed face, but she was more worried than amused. The Demon's patience was thinning and it was probably best that Dustynn leave the area as soon as possible. All the sweet talk wasn't going to do anything other than get him killed, which she knew was the last thing Olan wanted.
"Enough with the fussing. We both know it's not going to do you any good," the Demon growled, narrowing his eyes at the pest. Really, what's with all the chit-chat? It didn't make sense that he was suddenly bombarded with flirts and such.

Dustynn looked at his watch slightly before he fixed his toy and smiled sweetly. "Well, I'd love to stay and chat, but I have a boy toy to rape now. Good night." He said quietly as he walked out of the bathroom. He immediately spotted Somuka and mouthed at her, Get back to Olan, now!
Then the gang leader went back to the meeting, taking a seat in his chair. Mari was already sitting down back in her seat at the table, meaning that she had left Dylan to watch over Olan. Good thinking. Send the necromancer to watch the ghost-magnet.

Glad that Dustynn at least made it out alive in one piece, Somuka practically teleported to where Olan was. She didn't dare speak, however, for the necromancer was there and would have heard her. It was never a good idea to talk around or to be seen by necromancers.
Olan had been worrying for quite a while now, but once his sister returned, with no panicked face, the worries disappeared. In that case, nothing had happened to Dustynn, so things should be going smoothly for now. Of course, he should still be concerned about the gang meeting that is still taking place.
