i basically first started liking them when i first heard I'm not OK on Kerrang although I had heard of them beforehand because I liked the Used and they were apparently quite similar (although they're really really not). This was roundabout 2 years ago and i have loved them ever since!

I found out about My Chemical Romance because a friend of mine, Ariel, and I were watching FUSE one night a couple years ago and saw the "I'm Not Okay" video. We were like, "OMG, this is soooo rad!" Well, my friend ended up hating them *shrug* and I wasn't too partial to them at first until I got another friend, Mollie, their "Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge" CD for her birthday. She played the CD nonstop in the car and I just fell in love. Now, I'm a die hard fan of MCR ^.^

I first saw the Helena video on fuse summer of 05 and hadn't ever heard of MCR, but liked the video. Later that year, one of my new friends (now best friend) was really into them and let me listen to their two cds. I loved them, but when TBP came out, I was blown away and had to buy it immediately. So I loved them before, but now I'm addicted.

My best friend, whom I've called my younger sister for the past few years, got seriously addicted to them... After I moved out of the country and the only way we could communicate was through the internet, I noticed, through her journal, that she was always listening to something by "mcr"...so I looked them up and downloaded a song.
"Cemetery Drive". Then "Vampires will never hurt you". Those were the first two.... ^-^' and I got hooked. I'm now as addicted as she is razz Like a drug. *sigh*

Well, one day i was talking to my friend and she mentioned a band i should check out. I only caught "chemical" however and had no clue what she was talking about. Around three months later my parents got cable and i was watching Fuse and suddenly, this "movie trailer" popped up and I'm Not Okay (I Promise) played in the background, a song that seemed pretty familiar. Lo and behold, i found My Chemical Romance and hurriedly bought their second cd and then soon after attainted their first. (that is, after about two months of begging my parents for money and then finally going to my grandma's around christmas and helping her with her party to get some money) and now, they are right at the top of my list of bands, second to none. For most, i realize the addiction will never fade.

oh! i was reading a green day fanfiction, and the girl writing it was really good at writing and stuff, so i decided to look at her other fanfictions, and at this time, My chemical romance weren't a very popular band, and i thought, "Wow! Thats an awesome name for a band" so i clicked on it, and read it, and it was really good.. So i went and downloaded Honey this mirror isn't big enough for the both of us, and i fell in love with it ^_^ this is also the way i discovered FFTL <3

I went on the internet and looked up 'Chemical' for a project. MCR appeared as one of the results and I read about them. That's where I listened to "I brought you the bullets, you brought me your love"

My friend told me in early October. I know, I've been missing out a lot! But now, it's like I've known them forever, and I luff them so much! ^^ I was so excited when The Black Parade came out, even though I'd only known about them for a little while. <333
