"And just where will this story take us?"

"Back at home." Phelan smiled. "Is that an invitation?"
Alice noticed that Charity was getting cold- And so was she. She reached for her coat, totally regretting that she ate ice cream.

Eosy was not sure that he wanted to join back Alicia's household. Too many people.

He noticed that the ladies were getting cold. The air was indeed getting cooler by the minute.

"I know a warm and cosy restaurant. Two blocks away." he said with his cold voice. "My treat." he added, before passing his arm under Charity and gently pulling her, leading the way.

Charity was slightly surprised when Eosy decided to speak up and offer to take them all to a restaurant. She turned to their newly acquainted friends and gave them a look to encourage them to follow behind her and Eosy. She smirked.

Looking up at Eosy, the red head chuckled under her breath, "Bold move." Then she looked down at where her protector's hand had been placed behind her. Surely anyone who saw them would think them a couple, just as she thought that about Phelan and Alice, who obviously were hiding the fact that they were totally head over heels for one another.

Sighing, the crystal bearer slid her crystal under her jacket collar so to make it less obvious as they walked the sidewalks.

"And just where will this story take us?"

Alice looked to Phelan, who had raised an eyebrow.
"S-sure.." She got up from the bench, putting on her jacket and carefully putting her novel back into her bag. She ran quickly to catch up with Eosy and Charity, while Phelan took his time, but he caught up with the three with ease, his long stride giving him quite an advantage. Alice's stomach made a small gurgling noise, she blushed. "I- that.." She stumbled over her words, while Phelan stifled his laughter.

Eosy did not speak back to Charity's comment. He smiled at Alice's noise. His suggestion was a good one.
He led the group to a small but clear restaurant on the main square of the town. A waitress led them to a table by the window from where they had a full view of the square and its statue: a girl kneeing, holding a crystal in her hand.

The restaurant walls were of a warm orangish yellow with pictures of sunny landscapes: gardens, seas, fields and such were bring nature and freshness all over the restaurant. In a corner there was a nice orangish red.

"This is a French-Italian restaurant." said Eosy taking a sit by the window and grabbing his menu. Specialties from both countries were available, including the usual pasta, pizza and such...

!!Charity!!

Charity rolled her eyes as Alice tried and failed to speak, chuckling to herself quietly. Such a soft girl, this one was. The crystal bearer looked at the seat she was about to take next to her protector, but then looked back up at the statue. Her eyes grazed over the art and design of the restaurant. She wriggled her nose.

"I'm going to the little girls' room," she declared before turning around and looking for a restroom sign. When she found one, she entered the room. It was empty. She looked in the mirror and splashed a bit of water in her face. She didn't know they'd be going to some fancy-schmancy restaurant. She was hardly ready. She looked like she had just rolled out of bed.

Charity fixed her hair, letting it down from the messy ponytail she slept in. She ran her fingers through it a few times, making it neat and fashioning it the way she always did, mostly in the back, bangs in the front. She applied a small bit of lipgloss, and decided she was all right now.

When the red head came back, she sat where she had planned to, taking the menu into her small hands. She wasn't all that sure what she should get.

"And just where will this story take us?"

Alice nodded and let her eyes follow Charity for two seconds. She sat down beside the window, liking it quite much. "Very nice.." She murmured, touching her own hair. It was down, and covering her face. She felt a bit embarrassed, only slivers of her eyes showed through her hair. But she thought since they were nice enough to take them to dinner, she might as well let them see her face... She brushed her hair away from her sapphire eyes, taking out a few hairpins to keep it in place. She completed her hair style by just putting it into a nice side ponytail. She wore no make up, which was kind of weird for females, since the majority of them wear make up almost all the time. Yet she still looked nice. Looking as Charity came back, she picked up her own menu. Her stomach complained for food, but she ignored it. Phelan, who was seated right beside her, was already looking through the menu.

Eosy was now sitting between the window and Charity, with the cute but shy face of Alice in front of him. Phelan was facing Charity.

The protector did not turn his head as his crystal bearer came back with her beautiful hair down and some shiny lips. He was fully concentrated on the menu when a fat jovial man appeared by their table.

"Good day young people! My name is Francois. Would you like anything to drink?" he offered. He had a bright smile and his overall appearance was warming up the place and created an atmosphere of friendliness instead of high standing.

Eosy hesitated for a second and answered first. "I will have your house cocktail. The one without alcohol."

"House cocktail, very good choice." the man turned his attention to the others, waiting for their choice.

"And just where will this story take us?"

"Just water please.." Alice nodded, too shy to lift her chin up.
"I'll have the same thing she's having." Phelan said calmly, not looking up from his menu. Alice was still deciding as well.

The crystal bearer crossed her legs under the table, holding her menu to her face. She still eyed the items on it as the waiter introduced himself and asked for their drinks.

"A lemonade would be just fant-asmic, thank you, Francois." Charity decided.

After looking at the menu again, she decided also that she wouldn't need an appetizer. She felt like getting to the point, so she'd order some pasta or something, probably just spaghetti.

Charity lay her menu down, leaning back in her chair, spacing out by just staring at the table. She felt awkward. Phelan, Alice and Eosy seemed just dandy with each other while she wasn't very good at all with making new friends. She was a smart-a**, yes. She had confronted this couple, sure. She didn't expect to be taking them to dinner in a restaurant. She was planning on possibly taking them to the house.

She twitched her nose, twirling a finger in her hair.

"And just where will this story take us?"

Were they getting along? Truly? More like an awkward, fake smile to be polite, possibly. But then again, Alice had many doubts about ANYTHING that had ever crossed her path. She planned not to get any appetizer, just get spaghetti like Charity. Her face was neutral, and she seemed like a life sized doll. Even Phelan could have sworn that she was a doll as well. She put down her menu, already chosen what she wanted. Folding it, she put it in the center of the table as she let her elbows rest on it. She folded her hands, making sure not to get into the others' space. Then as soon as she was sure that nothing was wrong, she turned her head to stare at the stone statue. She let herself drift, and her eyes went blank.

Francois disappeared with a smile. He came back quickly with the lemonade, the cocktail and the two waters.
"Here you go. So what will you have for food."

Eosy's face brightened a second as he ordered a crepe with egg, ham and cheese.

"A connoisseur!" joked Francois and Eosy tilted his head in a nod. Then he let the others order.

Contrarily to the others, Eosy was very relaxed and the silence did not bother him at all.

A music in the background was filling the room with Italian and French songs.

"Have you been in town long?" asked Eosy with the same icy tone once everyone had ordered their food.

"And just where will this story take us?"

Alice snapped out of it once the water arrived. "Just spaghetti." She smiled politely. Phelan thought for a moment, and ordered something hot and tasty. Alice redirected her gaze to Eosy, noticing the ice in his voice. "Yes." She nodded "You?" She sipped from her cup of water.

"A couple of days." Eosy answered vaguely.

Francois was a little puzzled and he cleared his throat. "I am sorry to interrupt, but spaghetti with what? Tomato sauce? White sauce? Meat? Sea food?" The poor man was too surprised. He could not conceived that someone would order 'just' spaghetti, in His restaurant.

"Spaghetti with tomato sauce." Alice laughed lightly.

((I couldn't think of any food- other than spaghetti and what Eosy was having.))
