As Vince watched the uproar between the three digimons, he sense something nearby. It was like a feeling as if someone was watching them from above or behind them. Vince turned around and saw nothing, except for some leaves flying past the maze wall. Someone was there, he just had this feeling. He walked slowly towards the corner and someone's arms grabbed him and covered his mouth. The creature Vince saw was IceDevimon, laughing. Only his upper body showed from the wall, but the mist that was coming off his body was freezing cold. His body turned numb and he felt like he was going to freeze! IceDevimon held Vince there for a while. His body temperature was dropping slowly and soon he would be turned into ice. The mist ran off into the passage and surround them, covering them up from the outside world.
Meanwhile:
"Positron Laser!"
"Grand Cricket!"
"Rainbow Symphony!" The three went at it again. This time it worked. The big bang covering up Nightmare, and AncientKazemon confused by not knowing where her enemy was. Nightmare jumped from the side, coming out of nowhere and slammed her Queen Stick onto her. AncientKazemon fell to the ground, stunned by the attack.
"Heart Breaker!" Nightmare was going to finish it off when a deep voice boomed the area.
"Stop!" Alphamon appeared before them. He grabbed AncientKazemon and disappeared with her. The next second, he appeared again. "Don't destroy the Ancient Warriors. If they turn into digieggs, than the balance of nature will be destroyed. AncientSphinxmon was already destroyed by a tamer and now the powers of light over powers darkness. The revival s I got was great help. Now the powers of darkness is slowly regaining itself from the powers of light. Now if you want to fight me, get your tamer and follow me." He said calmly.
Nightmare and Sai nodded, and looked back to see nothing but a big mist, running across the path. "Vince..." They both said softly, knowing something was happening to him in that mist. The two charged into the mist and appeared where they started.
"IceDevimon's work..." Nightmare said. She had experience with the works of IceDevimons before. She walked slowly into the mist and appeared back where she started, next to Sai. "We have to destroy the mist. Heart Breaker!" She slashed the mist and little cuts appeared out of it. A pathway was seen through the mist now, but it wasn't big enough for the two to get in.
"Omni Sword!" He swung his sword viciously. After he stopped, nothing happened, until he snapped his fingers, the mist broke apart.
"Show off." Nightmare said as she walked into the passage.

Kokuwamon and Agumon stood in disblief as Jammie walked off without them. Sadly, they turned and returned to the base. Once Jammie was certain he was far enough from the base to relax he sat under a tree and sighed. He seemed to be back to normal, but if what Holy Angemon said was right, it was only a matter of time until his emotions took over himself again. He leaned his head back, resting the top of his head against the tree trunk and staired up at the sky. Never before had he felt so alone. He knew he had friends here, friends that would never leave his side. Yet the feeling of solitude sank into his soul and squeezed the joy out of heart. "Why..." he trailed softly as his eyes began to water, "why am I so alone..." Tears started to fall from his eyes and he quickly wiped them away. "But you're not alone..." a soft voice trailed. Jammie snapped his head to eye level and looked around the forest. "who said that?" Jammie called out into the emptyness. A young woman walked out of the darkness. Long black hair fell past her shoulders and her face was carved by angels. Her body held the curves that would make any women jealous and would cause any man to go to war over her. She wore a lose Kimono that fell off one shoulder, exposing her soft skin. Yet when Jammie looked closer, she seem to be nothing more then an illusion. "A friend..." She trailed again, her heavenly voice warming Jammie's heart.

The blistering cold appeared towards Nightmare and Sai as they walked into the passageway, not touched by the mist. Vince was still there, freezing inch by inch, losing his body heat by this unbearable cold. The mist grew denser and denser and the temperature dropped dramatically and soon it grew to zero degrees. Everything around him was frozen, except for the passageway in front of him. He heard foot steps coming towards them, closer and closer, until they appeared to them. Sai and Nightmare gasped as Vince was dragged into the wall by IceDevimon. They entered an ice filled room with icicles the size of a sky scraper, and ice cubes the size of mini vans. The room was bright and colorful, due to reflection and that sort of stuff off of the ice, but the temperature was below freezing so much. It could've been negative fifty or so. Vince's body drew numb and numb until he fell to the ground. Ice began covering his body and soon, his feet were covered with ice and so were his hands. The last thing he heard was IceDevimon laughing pleasingly, satisfied with his work.
Nightmare and Sai appeared barging into the room. IceDevimon continued laughing. He turned towards the two. "Tundra Freeze!" IceDevimon shot an icy beam from his eyes. The two jumped out of the way and the beam hit the ground underneath them making icicles and freezing spikes. He laughed again. "Puny digimon. They can't do anything without their tamer who is incased with ice." He laughed, stepping onto Vince's frozen back. "And in one slice, I could end him, shatter him into pieces so he won't have a chance left to life."
"Omni Sword!" Sai shouted jumping from the air. Air thrust through his sword, forming a stronger blade. The wind was being sliced in pieces as Sai came down towards IceDevimon. IceDevimon jumped out of the way and Sai thrust foward the IceDevimon.

duftmon charged at craniumon, with mirage gaogamon next to him. Mirage Gaogamon disappeared, then re-appeared behind craniumon.
"Full moon blaster!"
Mirage gaogamon fired at craniumon's back, while duftmon shot an energy wave from the side.
"Aussterben!"

Jammie stood up and took a step towards the female illusion. When he did this she seemed to walk back into the darkness. "No, wait! Who are you?" Jammie called out as he followed her. The beautiful girl only smiled at his words and disappeared into the darkness. "Damn it," He said and ran in the direction the girl was, trying to find some hint of where she would be. "Damn," He muttered again before giving up. He sulked in despair and headed back towards the base, the image of the girl fresh in his mind as well as some... other things. He sighed and went back into the base. Holy Angemon was still waiting for him. "Please, let me heal your mind," Holy Angemon said as he took a step towards Jammie. "@%#@ off," he said plainly and went back to his room to sulk.

Vince was frozen on the ground, as Sai and Nightmare fought it off with IceDevimon. Sai successfully hit IceDevimon and he laughed. Sai's sword stabbed him right through his stomach and he laughed. Sai thought he was crazy or mad. "Positron Laser!" Sai shot IceDevimon directly in the face and he flung off the blade as fast as a speeding rabbit, with the laser still hitting him against the wall. Nightmare came from above and sliced IceDevimon in half, turning him into data. The last words he had was his laughter, laughing at his own pain. Sai and Nightmare picked up Vince from the floor and took him out of the place. Alphamon was missing from the scene, but somehow they needed Vince to melt back to Vince. Sai started a fire, well a ring of flames that surrounded Vince, and hopefully, that will be enough to heat him up from the icy prison he was placed in.

"I know how the world treats them but i feel that all digimon are alike"Shin said to Kyte.
Shin was saying this right before Craniummon started to say something. When Shin heard Craniummon say "Endles Waltz" Shin automatically held onto a Stalagmite. Shin forgot about Growlmon until Shin saw him fly up just like Wendigomon and had some bad injuries.
"Growlmon?" Shin asked Growlmon.
Growlmon just laid there not saying anything.
"Growlmon...." Shin said crying and at the same time his digivice glowed.
Growlmon then opened his eyes and glowed too.
"Growlmon digivolve to........ Wargrowlmon" said the new digimon when he showed his face to Shin. "Thank you Shin now let's make him regret that hit"
"Growl.... I mean Wargrowlmon let's do this"
"PLASMA BLADE"Wargrowlmon said as he charged at Craniummon right after Antylamon caught Craniummon's Spear.

Mirage gaogamon slashed craniumon in the back, as the plasma blade hit him in the front, knocking him to his knees, severely injured.
"I'll let you guys handle the rest..."
Nagato stood, and faced magnadramon and her tamer.
"So it was you that was scanning my digimon.....don't you know that that makes them weaker?"
Mirage gaogamon appeared behind melanie and magnadramon, and kicked magnadramon out of the cave, metal seadramon shot at melanie, while mirage gaogamon distracted magnadramon. Nagato flew out of the cave on duftmon, examing the fight from high in the sky.

The ice around Vince slowly melted away. Time seemed to be going slower and slower, and each second felt like a year to Sai and Nightmare. They had to stay and watch Vince defrost from his prison. A puddle formed around him, but it usually evaporates after it comes close to the flames. The flames lit the tunnels up, bringing heat to the frosty area. A footstep was heard coming towards them and Nightmare and Sai jumped onto their two feet, fingers upon their weapon. The person started to show, the flickering flames danced at an intense rate, and the wind blew harshly across them. Nightmare knew it had to be AncientKazemon. Nightmare was right. AncientKazemon appeared, hanging to the wall, fingers clenched onto the vines, and a deep wound on her leg. She dropped her rapier, and landed with a huge clank. Soon after, she fell to the ground in front of Nightmare. She spoke with a soft, gentle, sweet voice than was barely heard. She said: "Becareful of Alphamon..." She took in a deep breath. "He is angry...I don't know why, but when I tried to calm him down, he slammed me into a tunnel and I crashed into the maze wall....several layers of maze wall..." She gasped for air. "He is angry, his angry has taken control of him....please, destroy him..." She tried to grab Nightmare's hand. "I'm sorry, for what has happened...I hope we could be great friends later on..." Her last words, and than she turned into a digiegg. Nightmare was paralyzed, stunned, lost within though. She grabbed the digiegg and placed it into the vines. She wrapped it around a couple of times so it wouldn't fall and than she completed her nest for AncientKazemon. Nightmare than glanced at something. AncientKazemon's rapier was still there, it hadn't turned into data also. Nightmare picked it up and touched the smooth blade. She knew from that point, AncientKazemon was looking out for them, she wanted them to complete her mission to defeat Alphamon. Someone touched her shoulder and it was Vince. His hair was wet, his clothes and everything. Sai stood in the back and rested against the wall, waiting for something interesting to happen.

As jammie laid on his bed stairing up at the celing, the image of the girl plagued his mind. No matter how hard he tried he could not shake her image. Soon though he feel asleep. Jammie ran though the digi-jungles of tamer island. Kokuwamon and Agumon were no where to be seen. Behind him, was a massive shadow beast with glowing red eyes. Sweat dripped from his brow as he stumbled through the jungles, trying to escape the beast that cried out for his blood. "Crap," he muttered as he reached a dead end. A sheer clift was infront of him that stretched out farther then he could see. "Jammie!" A familiar voice cried out. He turned to see the girl from the jungle, only this time she was no illusion, but a real person. She stood in the mouth of a cave, a place he could hide from the shadow beast. He ran to her side and entred the cave. When he turned the cave was shut, as if there was never a mouth there. "How..." He started, but lost his words as the girl wrapped her arms around Jammie's waist. "Shhh..." She trailed softly. "You're safe now... nothing can harm you here," she said softly as she rested her head against Jammie's back. Jammie turned to face the girl, her eyes looking up at him as she longed for his touch. He moved closer to her, thier lips about to touch. Jammie sat up in bed, his breath rappid and sweat had formed on his brow. "Damn it," Jammie muttered. ---------- Elsewhere in a forgotten palace in the heart of death summit, a figure grins. "My seed has been planted, soon he will come to me..." it said to the darkness.

Vince, Nightmare, and Sai continued on within the Ruin Maze. Each turn had more suspense, making Vince nervous. If they entered the room where Alphamon was in, what would happen? Would they be destroyed within a single blast? No. They had a bigger purpose than dying in a fight with Alphamon. A greater purpose that anyone would've guessed. Vince, Nightmare, and Sai entered the newly found room. Alphamon in the center of the room, just standing there, with a strand of light, hitting him against his right shoulder. As they completely entered the wall behind them fell to the ground and trapped them within the room...with Alphamon...
"You have arrived..." He turned and his eyes were completely black, no emotion or feeling within his voice, other than the thirst to kill. "Now, we must fight!" He swung his sword with his cape flying behind him. "Ultimate War Blade King Dragon Sword!" The ground started to rumble. The ground started to crack open, showing part of a sword lifting from the earth. Than smoke exploded out of the crack and the sword was fully out and in Alphamon's hands. "Let the torture begin..."

As The spear of War Growlmon went into the armor of Craniummon some data began to pour from him. He pulled back hard and was finally able to relese his spear as he raised it into the air and bellowed " You will not defeat me... Final Waltz!" It began to spin slowly at first bet began to pick up speed. This time Kyte did not take shelter as the blade began to move he simply nodded to Antylamon and stated in a cold tone..."Finish it" THis attack would undoubtedly damage both teh digimon that were in the chamber. Despite what the other Tamer said, Kyte could not trust these words... He had been burned too badly from the last time.
Antylamon clapped thier hands together as the blades above whirled faster and faster in craniummon's hand. Energy could be felt gathering within him and then finally it needed a release. Mantra Chant He thought not even effortig to speak. A wave of Chrome Digizoid exploded forth from Antylamon and as it collided with the wounded Craniummon it dissipated him into data immediately and the wave continued to move outwards most likely to collide with War Growlmon as well...

"Wargrowlmon watch out!!" Shin yelled to his digimon but Wargrowlmon just looked at Shin and smiled.
"Bye Shin I hope that you'll be alright after this"Wargrowlmon said to his Tamer.
"No i wont let you become a digitama ever" Shin said running towards his Digimon with tears in his eyes "I WONT!!!" yelled Shin as he blocked Wargrowlmon from the Chrome Digizoid Wave.
