but those are unfair 'cause they jump to 1mill bids for the ownership of the use of a sprite for DTI when instead I like decorating the Gaia avi with neat items instead.
The only one handed was from two years ago when Fiance held a contest involving card packs. Kira got a Cardmon while another member recieved Vemmon. It was like a small event, but since it's considered special I would assume only the captain has the ability to hand it out however he wishes.
I'm tired of killing myself in contests for Digimon. :l I can't wait for the Award Ceremony for DTI. C:

I've never heard of Vemmon till I got here so his/her/its
line is a little unknown to me...

Absolutely nothing makes Vemmon. It's a Digimon introduced in Digimon World 3 game, and I love the design!
