-dame is watching Flame out of the corner of her eye instead of the sunset. She sighs contentedly and snuggles closer to him, resting her head on his shoulder. After a moment or two, she whispers in his ear- Thank you. -and then kisses his cheek, returning her head to his shoulder-

-dame shifts to lay on her side and props her head up on one elbow, smiling down at him- For everything. -she traces his strong cheek bone- For being here. -traces down his jaw- For being such a marvelous person. -runs a hand down to his chest and rests it there- For the past two days. -she kisses his lips lightly, closing her eyes and speaking millimeters away from them- For just being you. -she presses her lips against his in a sweet kiss-

-wrapping her up in his arms, he returns her kiss, going from sweet and lingering to passionate and smouldering. He'd like to think that it was her lips, her kiss that he missed the most, but honestly there was no one thing abot dame that he missed. He just missed her. Pulling back slightly, he tries to slow his speeding heart and pulse, not wanting to engage her in that way, not just yet. He was unsure as to how she was, emotionally and physically, as far as the miscarriage went, and didn't want to rush her into anything that would be detrimental. Sighing, he smiles against her lips and holds her tight-

-they lay there in each others arms as the sky grows dusky and then dark. Soon, rolling thunder can be heard in the distance, and a streak of lightning follows not too far behind, lighting the sky up briefly. Sighing, he knows rain is soon to follow. Kissing the top of her head, he and dame sit up, him sliding off the car first. Helping her down, he grabs the blanket and haphazadly folds it, quickly walking to the back of his car and opening trunk, tossing it back inside. Securing the trunk, he reaches for her hand just as soon as the first droplets hit their skin.
Squealing, dame starts click-clacking towards the JD back entrance hurriedly, him close behind. No sooner did they make it inside did the sky open up and let it fall. Closing the door tightly, they walk down the corridor with dame leading. When she stops in front of her place, he urges her past it, keeping towards the entrance to the kitchen. Scanning, they walk in and wave at the cooks, entering the restaurant. Sitting in the MW booth, he ushers dame in first then slides in close to her, placing an arm around her-
Let's eat first and then hang in the bar for a quick second. I need to find Icy and see if Liv and Lo are still with her. I haven't seen those two in forever.

*It started to rain as she was driving home in one of the cars from Upper GGG and she floored it the entire way back to the bar in a panic. She was damn lucky she didn't get pulled over and given a speeding ticket but as the rain fell harder and the sound of lightning heard along with the flash coming much too close for her comfort…the sooner she got indoors, the better. gonk
She parked the car haphazardly by the back entrance of her quarters and hustled herself and the dogs inside as fast as she possibly could. After she secured the door, she leaned against it and sighed a huge breath of relief she or the car had not been struck by lightning. sweatdrop *

*After she isn't in such a state of panic, she makes her way down the stairs into her chambers and goes into her bedroom to get out of her wet clothes. stare
She takes some extra time to freshen herself up and then makes her way to the Main Bar to check on things.*

-decides on a Coke since he still had a bottle of Gentlemans Jack at dames place, not to mention they would be in the bar soon as well. As the waiter leaves, he looks down at dame-
Well, Liv used to be Icys partner back in the day. Those two were a terrible female duo when it came to bounty hunting. I never had trouble sending them out on hunts together b/c they always came back with their catch, without a scratch. Though that could never be said for their bounties. Lo is Liv's pet leopard. I remember when Icy got that leopard as a cub for Liv's birthday. The two have been inseperable since.
-sighs and shakes his head a bit, voice lowering-
Too bad the same didn't go for Icy and Liv. They split as partners a few years ago, Liv going one way, Icy with me the other way. As hard as I tried, I could never get the story as to why Liv left and soon I stopped trying. I found Lo's chewtoy in my office when I got back, so I know they've been here and with Icy. I just hope I hadn't missed them.

-dame tries to surpress a strong shiver that runs through her body when Flame mentions the leopard. Her hand instinctively goes to her thigh, rubbing the scar hidden by tattoos and tights- Ah. -she shudders again- Icy did have a very large leopard in the bar the last time I saw her. -shivers- She was irritated because it kept trying to get at me...
eek stare Probably wanted to eat me.
-dame looks up at him after putting her straw in her glass and taking a sip- I wonder what happened...did they not keep in touch with one another?
