*feeling more comfortable now but still suspicious* Well I would like to think of myself as the trust worthy type but as I am sure you know trust can only be earned not given or taken. But that is a debate for another day for now I must bid you farewell. *hurries off back for his science lab on the Lethe to analyze his scans of the suspicious woman called shadowshifter*

She nods, and pulls out her note pad and looks through it. She sees Saoraan leave and turns to R'Ukannak. "So what's your story? From what i can tell your half Klingon and half Vulcan. Is that true?"

R'Ukannak smiles.
'Yes, that is correct. My parents were both... Outcasted from their planets'
She looks at her feet, suddenly feeling self conscious.
'I was rescued by starfleet as a small child, and raised on Earth, but I kept my routes. My mentors in the Acadamy were total opposites... One Vulcan scientist, one Klinglon Warrior.'

"I see." *as she listions her eyes had glow a bit deep red but quickly then it fades away.* "So what is it that u do R'Ukannak?"

R'Ukannak see's a tiny bit of red in her eyes, but ignores it, thinking it a simple trick of the light.

'I work in Engineering. I love to figure out new ways of making energy consumption more efficient. I also like to fight in the holodeck, it's a great way to keep fit. When I started in Star Fleet, I was a young ensign in security, but I went back to the acadamy to study engineering, it was much more fun.

What about you, what do you do?'

"As i told the human i keep my work a secret, that is if i tell the person that i truly trust or if they fing out. it is all ways one or the other. I have allways traveled alone cause every where i seem to go my friend or allia allways seem to get killed. I also like to fight on the holodecks as well and i have to say is that your right about that it keeps u in shape." She says this as she fiddles with her eltric note pad.

R'Ukannak N'worB raises a suspicious eyebrow at the young mystery.

Finishing her breakfast, she starts to think about the holodeck.
'It would be nice to fight today, before my shift.'

She glanced at the girl and caught her in a piercing gaze that was neither Vulcan nor Klingon, but challenging nonetheless
She knew she had to be wary of this one, her background info on the computer was very vague, but enough to tell that she was possible trouble.

'How about it? You, me, a good holodeck program, at say... 0900 hours?'

She smiles behind her mask. "Sure, sounds good. it's been a while since i had a real challange from someone." She thinks to herself on how this will turn out in the holodeck.

'Lets start with a little game of B'aht Qul. Are you familiar with the sport?'

R'Ukannak smiled as warmly as she could manage. She had no intention of belittling this one. No Klingon Tricks, no Vulcan mind 'magic'
No earth slight of hand, either.

''Perhaps, afterwards, we could try something else? I know many types of martial arts from a selection of countries. Take your pick''

After two more games, she beckons the frail looking girl over to play

silently, she readies her hands.
She thinks this will be easy.
To her utter astonishment, R'ukannak struggles with her new opponent.
With all her might, she slams the girls hands to the table
''You are much stronger than you look'' She says, raising one eyebrow

"Sure, I think 1 more round will do." She went up against a few of the hologram opponets and then she went up against the half Klingon. They struggle a bit again this time and when R'Ukannak was about to beat her again, she flash a smile behind her mask and shows her true strangth and slams R'Ukannaks hand down and wins. "shall we head back to the bar?"
