It raised an arm to swing at him, long black claws that seemed to be made of the shadow's themselvs forming as it howled thinking that it was going to strike the man.

Something gold glinted in the light from the window, and a flash of gold illumated the room. Seto had held the creature's claws back with the Millennium Rod.
((Which was Seto's to begin with anyway.))

It yelped and then let out a human scream, running as it lept into the hall that held darkness all down to the basment door. That was wehre this creature liked to stay, in the cold dark underground.

Malik sighed in relief. "Kaiba....get back to bed..you're sick..but thank you...we will take care of it..just rest now."

A Touch of Irish Chaos Duke jumped and opened his eyes. " No...I heard it too..." He said and took his hands off Jou, looking at him. " We can continue this later..." He said walking toward the door. Duke blinked and grabbed Jou's hand.
" I think we need to stick together...We gotta get everyone together...There's safty in numbers..." He said heading out of the room. " No electricity...Of course...Hello? Where are you guys?"

Jou squeezed Duke's hand, surprised by the other boy's touch but not wanting it taken away. Especially then, with the power out and that strange voice floating around.
Thugs and robbers Jou could take. Present him with a ghost though...
"Right... yeah, in numbers." He didn't want to mention there were only two of them together at that very moment.
