A slithering smirk meandered upon his thin lips as he pulled back on the handle of his broom and hovered in place to watch as the quaffle sunk into the hoop with a sure fell swoop. He grinned and offered a strong nod towards Edajin, the new firsties were proving themselves better each and every year. Hell, at this rate, they might be able to hold the title of Quidditch Cup again this year. Soon, the game was back in full swing as the quaffle was tossed to Amanda and he darted his vision back and forth to decide who best to target. Swerving his broom to the left as the quaffle opposite him banked hard to the right, he hit it with full force and hoped it would go spiraling towards Darius. He was still a little sore that the boy had managed to hit not only himself, but one of his teammates, too.

Hell, screw that, he was more annoyed that he’d been hit, and moreover, Darius had struck more people with the bludger than he had! That was going to have to change.

Amanda groaned as the quaffle was snatched from her grasp. Hopefully getting it back would be somewhat of a challenge. The fifth year flew in after Edajin when he was passed the ball, then after Danile again. Damn, too late, she thought as she watched the ball fly into the goal post. Amanda caught the quaffle when Virgil passed it back to her. Let's try this again, she thought before taking off towards the other side of the pitch. At least as a team, the boys seemed to be doing better. If she managed to get to the other side of the pitch, she would actually attempt to shoot since Jasmine was now placed as keeper instead of chaser.

Smirking, he wheeled his broom around to spot his bludger slamming into the opposing beater, and before he knew it, Darius had retaliated with a blow of his own. Dominic saw it early, and banked hard to the left and dove down to avoid it, he was lucky though, because he wasn’t sure if he’d be so lucky next time. His vision was a bit fuzzy and sweat beaded down his forehead and leaked into his goggles as the rushing winds tore his back. He spotted the green team’s seeker seemed to have found the snitch as well, and now both girls were in pursuit. Belle was close, but she could miss it at any time—it would be just her luck, anyway—so he caught the rogue bludger hard and sent it soaring for Jaslyn.

Shoot! She bit her lip to keep from cursing aloud she’d done it too many times before in her young and she regretted it each and every time when a bloody fly flew into her mouth. She blinked her eyes into focus as she ignored the rest of the game soaring down below her. She hadn’t even noticed that Jaslyn was fresh on her tail and that Dominic had been struck by his own bludger and plummeting down to the skies. Her focus was the snitch. And before it escaped her sights she thrust her arm forward and cast out long nimble fingers to try to catch the prize of gold.

Edajin turned his attention away from Amanda as he noticed their seeker zooming past, chasing what appeared to be the little golden snitch. Peering his eyes, he swore that he saw her fingers curl around the gold ball... Was that it? Had they won? He smirked, slowing his broom's movements. It looked like the game was over, and the Silver team had been victorious, 170 points to none. And he thought he and Daniel had done a pretty decent job, besides, each stealing and scoring once for their team.
