Dustynn looked up from his watch as Olan came down the stairs. Indeed, the change of clothes was much needed, and his hair was a bit flatter. Thank God... "Well then..." Dustynn muttered as he began turning away and walking out the door. The rest of the small party left along with him, except for Marissa and Dylan. Both waited at the bottom for Olan.
"What?! No spiky hair gel thing?" Marissa whined slightly as soon as Olan hit the bottom. Dylan noticed something different about the boy's shadow, but he kept it to himself. What was the point about exposing a spirit? That is... unless the spirit was a harmful presence. But it didn't seem likely.

Somuka almost froze when she noticed someone staring at her, or specifically Olan's shadow. She wasn't all that great in hiding in shadows, but she had hoped that the necromancer, whoever he was, would be fooled. Unfortunately, it didn't seem like it worked. Looks like she'll have to try even harder to hide perfectly in her brother's little shadow.

It had taken all but ten minutes to get to the other gang's territory. Dustynn had been near the back of the brigade on his bike as the small band flew through New York City's wasteland. But they weren't met with a wonderful welcome. Sheila was the gang's leader, and she hadn't forgotten the bullet wound that Dustynn had given her a little while ago when she had tried flirting with Olan. The purple haired boy had to shudder. That was a weird moment.
Dylan and Marissa arrived at the hide out first. Marissa somehow got them inside without having to show proof of identification. Guess she was famous in the wasteland areas. But as soon as Dustynn entered, the room became completely on edge. Guess the young gang leader didn't have a very good reputation here.

Olan stayed very close to Dustynn, growing nervous at the silence in the room. He was sure that a few of the occupants were familiar, but he didn't know. Heck, he could hardly think. The only comfort he had was the knowledge that Dustynn and Somuka were here with him so he wasn't alone. At least being here was better than staying back at the hideout with nothing to do.
During the trip here, Somuka had a very hard time catching up to Olan's shadow. It didn't even help that she couldn't hold onto her brother's shoulders, being a spirit and all. If she was caught by any other necromancers other than the boy named Dylan, then she'll be in big trouble. When it seemed that their destination was very near, she smiled in triumph, but it didn't last long once she figured that she would have to try to keep up on their way back.

Sheila sat on her chair at the head of the table, a scowl on her face. Dustynn, that young twerp from the south territory, wanted to talk to her about not waging war against his gang? Forget it. She wanted to kill him over and over until he died and then died again in hell. Then she saw Dustynn's little brother and the scowl immediately died away. Even though Dustynn had said she couldn't, she still wanted to keep Olan here at the hide out. Ooh~ what was Dustynn going to do about that now?
Dustynn walked into the meeting room as the rest of the gang took their seats on either side. Olan got to sit between Marissa and Dylan, in case something stupid happened. That look that Sheila was giving him didn't make him feel any better about anything. In fact, it kind of made him feel more on-edge than he already was.

Olan really didn't like the look that he was given, and he looked away once he saw it. A bit of cold air around his hand told him that Somu was there, and he calmed down a little. He could tell she didn't like the female gang leader either, but what could either of them do? Neither of them had the ability to do anything at this point.
Somuka must say that she was annoyed. Very annoyed. From the looks of things, the girl at the head of the table seemed attracted to Olan, and that was something the spirit wouldn't accept. If her brother was to belong to anybody, that person must be Dustynn.

Sheila's gaze immediately lifted toward the young gang leader, a half smirk on her face. "If you've come here to make piece, you can forget about it." She said quietly, but surely. She wanted to make sure that Dustynn knew exactly what she intended. She intended to kill the boy over and over, she was intent on making him suffer. That's all she wanted right now. And if that meant taking Olan out of the picture, she was willing to do it. But then Dustynn gave her a half smirk and she growled. The nerves of that boy. Sheila tried to keep her cool, but she sat up straight in her chair. "Don't you get it? This is war, do you hear me?"
"I hear." Marissa hissed, glaring at the other female. "What the hell do you want? We'll give you whatever you want. Just avoid this goddamn stupid-" She began, but Dylan cut her off, pointing in Dustynn's direction. The boy wasn't smirking anymore.
"What is it that you want?" Dustynn muttered quietly from across the table. He had intended for this to go a lot smoother, but that didn't look like it was going to work.

Olan was afraid of what the female gang leader would request. What if whatever she wanted was unreasonable? Then Dustynn wouldn't be able to give the request to her in order to keep the war from starting. Maybe it was a bad idea for Dustynn to have fired a shot at her in the first place.
Somuka wanted to just punch Dustynn in the face for agreeing with the giving up something. She had some idea that the female gang leader wanted something far too important for them to give up. That look she had towards her brother might have told the spirit everything.

Sheila smirked. Things were going to start going her way. "That boy, the mute one. Your brother?" She said, pointing in Olan's direction. She saw the looks of disbelief going around the South Gang literally screaming, 'No way!' A look of triumph spread across her lips until her eyes landed on the boy sitting at the opposite edge of the table. His eyes were closed and he was leaned in such a relaxed angle that he looked almost as if he were... sleeping. "Did you hear anything I said?!" She shouted, slamming her palms into the table as she suddenly stood up.
Dustynn's eyes didn't open, but a small smile spread across his face. "Did you honestly think that I would comply?" He asked simply. Black irises peaked out from the slightly opened lids as Dustynn looked at Sheila slightly, the smile disappearing from his face. "Olan... you don't want to stay here, right?" He asked, not really moving from his relaxed position.

'Of course I don't want to stay,' Olan thought, nodding in case Dustynn didn't hear. He was afraid of being in this place, especially with the female gang leader. She scared him, especially the way she gets annoyed. Being near her for a second was already bad enough for him, but to have to live with her was just unbearable to him.
Somuka just wanted to beat that girl to the ground. She knew it! She knew that gang leader would want her brother! By the way, why was Dustynn being so calm about this? Isn't he outraged by the request? Or did he have something in mind already? What kind of plan did he have that could keep Olan with Dustynn?

Dustynn heard Olan's thoughts, his pupils clouding just in time to hear the 'don't want to stay' part. Dustynn nodded his head as well, yawning slightly as he sat a little bit straighter in his seat, opening his eyes a little bit wider. "As you can see, Dear Sheila, kidnapping and holding a person hostage is against the law. Plus, you have a very sloppy drug trafficking. If you were to wage war against us, nobody would come to back you up except Central, but that's a long shot." The young gang leader said with a straight face, though he was smiling on the inside. He had won, maybe.
Sheila's eyes narrowed on Olan, a small growl building in her throat. Sure, her gang wasn't the best gang around. But still yet, they didn't have to bring that up over and over again in every single gang meeting, right?
Marissa gave a surprised look at Dustynn. "Wait, isn't Olan-" She began, but Dylan cut her off and began signing to Dustynn that Marissa really meant that 'Olan isn't mute, just temporarily lost his voice.' Dustynn shook his head, but by then, Marissa had caught onto the drift. How could she had been so stupid?

Olan was relieved for a moment, since there seemed to be a way to cancel the wage on war without having him stay here. It wasn't likely that Dustynn would give him up either, but there was always the concept of using force. Hopefully, the female gang leader wouldn't have to come to that decision. That would just be a terribly bad idea.
'Serves her right,' Somuka thought as she saw the annoyed fact on the female gang leader's face. What was her name? Sheila? That was what Somuka heard, and so that must be the female gang leader's name. Well, anyway, it looks like Sheila isn't going to get what she came for after all.

Marissa stood up from the table with Dylan. "Hey Olan, why don't we go outside for a little while, 'kay?" The female member asked, pulling Olan to his feet as the trio began walking outside. She shot Dustynn that one long look that read 'It's better this way', then walked out of the room.
In a way, this was much better, as Marissa had looked. Sheila saw a new toy that she wanted, and she was going to fight with all of the other kids to play with it. But Dustynn knew all too well. Once Sheila was bored with you, she would toss you out and have nothing to do with you after. Experience had taught him the hard way.

Knowing that he wouldn't have much choice in whether or not he should stay, Olan followed Marissa and Dylan outside the room. A feeling of cold lingering behind him told him that Somuka was following. It looks like she either wants to know what the outer conversation would be about or she's just worried about him.
But what if Dustynn gets hurt or something? Two gangs in one room was a dangerous combination, wasn't it? If they all started fighting, someone can easily get killed, and the last thing Olan wanted was to lose another person he cared about.

Demitri finally arrived at the graveyard. Boy, that had taken a lot longer than she had intended. Well, all of her fatigue aside, she hoped that her brother would win his little speech and debate exercise with that other gang person. Demitri had to laugh a little at that. Speech and debate? That was a class that she had wanted to take in middle school.
But when she did arrive at the back of the church, by her grave, she was in complete and utter horror. Both her and her mother's graves had been smashed to pieces, almost in rage. A note lay on the ground, written in neat, translucent ink that Demitri only knew to be spirit blood. She read the note over and over, then her eyes widened in fear. She had to tell Dustynn!
