Alex followed her and stood in the door way. He was happy the guys were gone, but confused about why she was crying. He sat down on the edge of the bed. "Everything alright?"

((S'okay. School doesn't start for me until the 4th. But I have work...))
"No. Everything is not alright. My mother..." Cassidy sobbed, moving so her head was in his lap. "Why does she do this to me? She treats me like I'm two and then she tells me to have sex with some random guys! I mean come on." She rolled her eyes trying to wipe the tears away. She looked at him. "Are you okay?"

Alex nodded. "Yeah. I don't know your mother very well. But she doesn't seem to give you much respect." He said, happy to be himself again. He used his thumb to wipe away her tears. "As for me... I'm fine now."

Cassidy wrapped her arms around his neck. "Yeah. I don't know what was with her. Usually she's not like that at all. I think she's starting to feel old and she just wants some grandkids to make her feel young again." She shrugged her shoulders and kissed him gently. "I'm glad you're okay."

Alex smiled and kissed her back softly. "And I'm glad you're okay." He chuckled at his own thought. "And who knows, maybe she'll get her wish." He shrugged.

Cassidy laughed and hugged him, burying her face in his shoulder. "Yeah. Maybe. Who knows?" She smiled up at him. "I'm not 100 percent okay but I'm getting there. Just being here with you is good." She grinned and kissed him again

Cassidy grinned and kissed him. "So what would you like to do?" She asked. "We could go find you a job... that way I don't feel so guilty... like I'm keeping you here and not paying you." She chuckled softly.

Cassidy laughed. "Nah. I think we should both go out and get jobs. Be normal you know??" She smiled and kissed him softly. "I'm glad you like being here though... This is our home." She said nodding. "Hmm I should probably get a job soon so I can start paying for our rings eh?"
