Toan took his back as he toss Kaz his broken digivice.
"Tell Jennai if he could fix that for me. Also, here are some new features that I been wanting to add but never got around too. Ask him to add it for me, If possible."
He handed Kaz a sheet of paper with a list of things on it. He then regain the use of his leg and begin to walk over toward the place Alter had disappear too. He grabbed his cane with his right hand and pulled it out of the wall. He was in no mood to talk to the others so he turn toward Aiozen.
"Punishment aside, continue your search for the book."
Both Hao and Aiozen de-digivolve. Hao into a patamon and Aiozen into Astamon. Hao flew over and landed on top of his tamer top hat. Without another word to anyone, Toan turn and walk away down the hall leaving Aiozen to stare at his tamer back.

Draco had watched the events unfold, merely curious as a single Tamer tried to take on an entire castle, something that he himself had trained a long time ago. He even succeeded where Draco had failed, stealing something and leaving almost unharmed.
Draco had watched the kiss in near silence, trying to hold back some of his laughter at the act. The boy was clearly insane! He was talking and killing them all, and then he kissed Kaya. This was some poor comedy wasn't it. As the light-dark tamer disappeared and the mood started to return to normal, Draco could finally get go of his laughter, his laughter ringing out through the blackened rubble.
"Oh man. I haven't laughed like that in ages. That wasn't your first kiss was it?"

The blush that had left the poor redheaded tamers cheeks mere moments before returned full force as Thrax padded towards Draco, eyes narrowed and sharp canines bared just enough to be a threat.
Kaya crossed her arms and frowned down at the boy as BlackGarurumon halted in front of him, growling silently. Kaya did her best to send the purple haired dragon master a stern look but failed miserably, it was simply impossible not to smile while Draco´s amused laughter echoed trough the messy front hall
”Don't laugh you git, I´ve been kissed before”
”Really”
Thrax turned his neck to stare at his tamer who glared right back
”Yes really, you shou..”
Kaya jerked when Thraxs moved his head and shifted his weight. The hell hounds red eyes were locked on the fast fading from of Toan as he turned and left the hall, leaving behind what looked like a rather miserable Aiozen. Kaya sighed softly.
Men.
The girl turned her head slightly when something small and furry landed on her shoulder with a questioning chirrup. The data being, if it was that, was a tiny fuzzy bat -creature with blue eyes and a wingspan of about 30 centimeters and had a cute little button nose and lips that seemed to be sewn together with brown string. Kaya lifted a hand to pet the bats head with utmost care
”Hi Myo-chan. Would you mind calling the servants and tell them to clean this place? And tell the other residents that it is safe to venture out of their rooms, the threat is gone for now”
The bat nodded, send Draco a breif glare and took off into the air to join a swarm of identical black bats soaring high above the two humans heads. The swirling sea of dark wings and bodies seemed to move back and forth a few times before they took off into one direction and dissapeared down one of the castles hallways. Angel, Kaya´s Angemon, approached the pair but Kaya waved him away
”I´´ll be okay, go find Metalseadramon at the gates and get him to de-digivolve, I dont want him to be alone right now”
Angel nodded in agreement and did as he was told.
”Kaya! Kaya!”
The soft young voice was impossible to overhear and Thrax shifted his weight once again to stare over his shoulder at the Guilmon and Lopmon who were making their way towards them. Both rookies struggled to move trough the rubbles and the hurried red dragon fell more than just a few times as he made his way to his tamer. Kaya chuckled as her two ´proud warriors´ came close enough for her to see that both children were covered in ashes and dust from head to toe.
”Kaya did you see that? I won!”
Guilmon wagged his tail back and forth after hopping up and down a few times in glee at his first true victory in battle, Lopmon seemed to be confused and stared at her adopted brother as if he had suddenly gone insane without her noticing.
They were too cute for their own good
”I did see that Gil, great job. Im very proud of you both”
Guilmons smiled boradened, if thats was possible, and Lopmons cheeks took on a strange pink shade
”Listen guys would you mind helping the others clean up this place?”
Both younglings shook their heads no and turned to start their task with the strange enthusiasm granted only children and angels.
Kaya nodded, glad the two had something to do until she could take the time off to give them a proper bath.. they needed it… badly..
”I´ll be right back Draco. I want to see if Toan is okay, he seemed a little upset.. and thank you for being here, it means a lot to me”
Thrax threw his head back and snapped at the air as if biting it would cause it any harm.
Kaya rolled her eyes at her digimons antics and dug her heels into his side until the wolf turned and padded silently across the hall towards Toan and past Aiozen
”Toan, hey wait!”

If it had been anyone else, Toan would've ignored them and instead, walked faster. He gave a sigh of defeat as he stop and turn back to wait for the princess. While waiting, he notice that his cane had extended into a staff when it slammed into the wall. He twisted the staff and swung it in the air as it shrunk back down to size. He then lean against the wall and took a deep breath to clear his mind. When Kaya had caught up to him he gave a force smiled.
"It's good to meet you again, Princess. Although it's unfortunate that it wasn't under the best of circumstances. Are you feeling any better?"

Draco wiped a tear from his eye, his laughter had ended once Kaya had started yelling at him. He just grinned, "I am sorry. It is just far to amusing for me not to laugh." He defend himself, his eyes following Thrax toward the other tamer, Toon wasn't it? He had been interesting to watch, he had a control over his digimon that was more military then most. Draco wanted to fight him.
Draco shifted his attention back towards his hostess, just hearing her last comment. "Your welcome. I would never miss a good brawl like this." He answered, bowing deep, his right arm extending out in front of him. He was feeling theatrical at the moment.
Draco straighted up, turning around, hoping to see the black orb that brought him here still around.

Much to Dracos relief he found that the orb lay only a few feet away buried under the remains of what had once been some kind of chair.
Kaya smiled warmly as she looked down at Toan from her seat atop BlackGarurumon. Thrax growled at Toan, as he did at any other human who came near him or his tamer, but ignored the boy after doing this for a few brief moments.
Kaya took her time searching Toans body for wounds, but she saw very little blood on him and the bit there was was not necessarily his own, but still.. it worried her
”There is no reason to call me princess. Toan, Kaya will do, and it is nice to see you too after such a long time. I am fine, still a little dizzy but I am sure Angel will be able to do something about that as soon as he returns with Metalseadramon”
The girl leaned forwards, resting against her partners broad back as he huffed in annoyance at the humans idle chit-chat. Thrax´s body felt warm and soft under her and Kaya flirted with the idea of persuading the dark wolf to carry her around for the rest of the night, or at least until she had been healed so that she could walk properly without keeling over.
The girl sighed softly, exhaustion catching up with her now that the adrenalin had left her system.
She should offer Toan, Draco and that other kid to sleep over, it was evening now and they had to be as tired as her, but she was had no idea where to put them. Didn't Diddy clean the Count room two days ago?
There were five beds inthere so..
”Are you okay?”
Kaya´s voice sounded somewhat hesitant. She had not seen Toan for a long time after all and even though digimons rarely changed and seemed to forge friendships that lasted over a ridiculous period of time humans didn't. Was it even any of her business?
Screw it, she wanted to know even if it wasn't.
”You seemed.. upset a few moments ago”
Thrax snorted loudly at that but remained silent, glaring down at the floor infront of his paws as if it had offended him somehow.

(Good. I thought it might have teleported away or something.)
Draco smiled as he picked it up, thinking about the library he had been in before this whole... incident. He should really check on Mio. The boy was his only connection to the Mines of Suliamon. Draco disappeared, feeling the tug behind his navel, the same as last time.
Draco hoped his return to the library would be simple, not like the last time he was lost.

"If you say so, Kaya"
Toan was about to lie and said he was alright but found that he couldn't lie. He decided to shake his head.
"I've been better. I'm more disappointed then anything, really. I'm disappointed that my digimon couldn't follow through with my orders. Disappointed that I had to set my plan back a few years cause of the fight. Most importantly, I'm disappointed with myself. I've become so weak to be caught in the attack. To have been unable to crush someone like Alter. To have let him go like that."
Toan begin to mess with his pendant around his neck. He stared into it for a few moments with his blind eyes, thinking. He then turn his attention back to Kaya.
"Ha! Look at me, talking about my petty problems to someone of your standards. My problems aren't nearly as important as yours. My apologies that I couldn't do much to defend this castle."

Richter stored his digimon quickly, and moved past Kaya and Toan. He only said one thing, and it was the reason he left Chronomon HM out. "I'm going to check on MetalSeadramon....I felt his pain as Alter attacked him, and that was the only reason I came back in such a hurry...I didn't know that I had a bond with MetalSeadramon like this....." Richter said softly. If Kaya were to look before Richter vanished with Chronomon, she would see that he looked completely drained of energy; Alter's attack on MetalSeadramon had wounded Richter just as much as it did his master. Richter touched Chronomon's wing, and the two of them vanished with a Chronoshift, appearing next to MetalSeadramon.
"When I was an angel, I possessed the ability to soothe with Angelic power....if I use the same concept, but with dark power..." He mumbled to himself as he walked over to MetalSeadramon's head. A dark purple aura began to radiate around his hand; he was applying a normally angelic tendency to an evil digimon, and by using the energy of darkness he had inside him now, the feeling that passed through MetalSeadramon's mind would be pure bliss. He would be peaceful while the remaining dark energy that Richter was using healed him. The process would take a while, but Richter had time to spare.

(Side note to Muffin and Kaya. Physically MetalSeadramon should be fine, save for the fact it fell. Unless there is something about taking over someone's mind that makes them hurt themselves. He should even be waking up, Alter's powers lessen with distance after such a short burst of power, just to move aside really.)

Kaz caught the digivice, looking it over. Thoughtfully he turned it over in his hands, remembering the time he had seen Gennai handling digivices. Closing his eyes he could feel the digivice in his hands, and it felt like someone had turned it inside out. In his mind he thought about how it should feel, imagining it being gently coaxed back into shape... A weak sounding warble brought him back to the present and he looked done to see the digivice's screen light up slowly brightening till it shown with a consistent even glow. He looked over at the paper where Toan had written his list of modification requests, and thoughtfully went through them, wincing at some and nodding his head at others. Closing his eyes one more time he felt his mind dropping back down into the inner mechanisms of Toan's digivice, down to the very source code that represented the digivice's physical existence on the digital plane. He subconsciously reached out and tweaked something there, added code there, removed some slightly redundant bits there. Had anyone chosen to glance over at Kaz they would have seen Toan's digivice glowing with pale light, and Kaz's hands a soft golden gleam. As Kaz finished with the modification his eyes opened again. He felt drained, and stifled a yawn before plodding towards the direction Toan had taken off in. As he rounded the corner he saw the princess of the castle again, her body looking weak, and he snapped to attention again, realizing he still hadn't been allowed to give her the first aid she really should accept. He moved more purposefully in their direction.

(Metalseadramon is fine, he fainted but that's about it. I am on my way out the door, it´s my cousins birthday so this will be un-spellchecked and hurried, sorry in advance.

The enormous guardian serpent lay still on the rocky ground infront of the gate leading into the castles front hall.
The dark lords heavy breathing filled the air with a strange warmth and the scent of clean seawater.
Richter hands glowed softly in the dim light as he approached the fallen form of his master, but as soon as his fingers touched the digimons golden armor the glow flickered out and died, leaving behind a strange pain that traveled through the tamer hand to his arm. Another painful jolt traveled trough Richters body as the angelic power he was attempting to use struggled to fight the dark power inside of him.
For a moment if felt as if Richters lungs were about to burst but soon enough the feeling ended and the prince was left with nothing but a strange hollow feeling as the last angelic part of him died out, crushed by pure darkness.
”Did no one tell you about that”
the voice was soft, warm and was followed by a soft brush of feathers against his side as an angemon landed next to him. The angel was slightly smaller than normal and bore no silver helmet to hide his pale blue eyes from the world. He looked down at Richter, eyeing the boy with something akin to pity before he kneeled down next to the tamer and the lifeless dark lord
”You are a dark tamer now, the gifts the angels gave you can not survive within you, you can not help him. Metalseadramons injuries are not on the outside”
The blue eyed angel send the tamer a weak smile and placed a careful hand on the serpents flank, stroking the pale flesh and the cold armour that protected his body.
A sharp purple glow engulfed Metalseadramons body, hiding him from sight.
When the light faded away it was no longer a fearsome sea monster who lay still as a rock on the floor before the boy and the angel, it was a much smaller creature.
Terriermon.
The long eared digimon began to move around, it sat up after using it´s ears as leverage and stared up at Angel with blurry dark eyes
”Angel?”
Angemon reached out for the tiny creature and picked it up, the celestial being cradled the rookie digimons to his chest with utmost care as he spread out his wings in preparation for flight, ignoring the muffled protest from the former sea serpent
”You should go rest Prince. I know you are worried about your master but Kaya will want to take care of her own partner”
Kaya shook her head silently
”Don't blame yourself and your digimons Toan, none of us were prepared for this. If someone did something wrong it was me, I control most of the digimons in the castle but due to my own insecurity I couldn't even call them to me..”
The girl leaned down just enough to touch the top of Toans black hat with the tip of her finger
”Dont you ´standard´ me, it´s just a title, it doesent make me any more important that you”
Thrax seemed to object to this as he glared at Kaya and emitted a loud growl that halted as soon as Kaya brought both hands to his ear and nuzzled it
”You keep quiet you big puppy”
”PUPPY!”
The BlackGarurumons eyes winded in shock at the audacity and bared his sharp canines in disgust at the term
”Call me Puppy one more time and you walk!”
The ginger haired tamer chuckled, petting the top of her digimons head as she did so
”Sorry Thrax”
The wolf ignored the girl on his back and went back to glaring down at the floor in front of him.
Kaya left her digimon to his moping and turned her attention back to Toan
”You are more than welcome to stay here for the night Toan. Get Aiozen to show you to the libarary and I will meet you there in an hour or so”
Thrax lifted his head slightly and turned around, tail lashing angrily trough the air as he padded back towards the front hall
”.. Toan”
Kaya send the other tamer a careful smile, sighing softly as she how tense her friend was.
If only she had time to talk to him now… but she needed to get Terriermon and the servants needed orders.
Sometimes it sucked to be a Princess
”Thank you for your help”
A strange silence had fallen over the front hall even after a small army of rookies and other types of digimons had gathered to stare at the ruin that had once been nothing but beautiful white marble and gleaming crystal chandeliers.
”What happened?”
”I head that it was five angels!”
”No you oaf, it was a tamer with demon digimons”
”What, you guys are so wrong! It was five tamers with angel digimons”
”Shush all three of you, it was a monster, and he wanted to kill the new prince”
”I hear that the tamer who attacked the castle kisses the blood soaked princess..”
”KAYA!”
”Yes idiot, who else”
”Really? Weird”
”I heard that Kaya broke a leg”
”Yes and it was the new princes fault”
”HA! It was the strangers fault, haven't you seen them? A good tamer and a tamer with an Astamon”
”That's Toan, he´s Kaya´s friend”
”What about the other?”
”He´s over there”
”Should we attack?”
”I dont know”
”You guys are so cute”
The little flock of Gazimons wearing various kinds of cleaning outfits (one was wearing a rather interesting maid outfit) turned around in shock to stare at the huge BlackGarurumon and the tamer on his back
”PRINCESS!”
Kaya smiled down at the servants an did her best not to laugh when they gathered around Thrax´s feet and started asking all kinds of questions all at once
”No I'm fine, yes it was just one tamer. Guys… GUYS!”
The Gazimons, Floramons and other digimons fell silent, gazing up at Kaya with awe
”I´ll answer all of your questions later, but right now we have a hall to clean up and not a lot of time to do it in. The Demon Lords are meeting here tomorrow by noon and I dont want to explain to my… To Lucemon why I allowed someone to wreck the castle.. Okay?”
”OKAY”
And there was much singing and strange dancing as the cleaners began their work.

Kaz managed to catch up to Toan and called out to get his attention, before tossing the digivice to him. "Tell me if you think everything feels right, I'll be right back." He then turned on his heel and strode towards the princess who had moved off and away from Toan before he could arrive.

Toan couldn't help but smile as Kaya begin to leave. Some how, today wasn't as bad anymore.
"Still the same Kaya, even after so much time has past."
Toan was lost in though for a few minutes and was snap back to reality when he felt someone approached. He snapped his hand up and caught the digivice from mid air.
"....That was fast. Are you sure you did it right?"
He begin to press a few button on the digivice and looked at some of his new added feature.
"Kaz, your free to do what you want in the castle as long as you don't cause trouble. I'll be going off a bit by myself."
Toan got up and place the digivice into his pocket. He then turn and head back toward the way he came. Minutes later, he notice Aiozen close by and called out to him.
"Oi, Aiozen. I'm hungry so we're going to the kitchen for something. Your coming too."
The astamon grinned as he begin to follow Toan, looking for the kitchen and asking passing digimons for direction.

If there was one thing Toan knew after spending half an hour talking to servants and wandering up and down countless hallways and stairs it was that Gazimons had absolutely NO sense of direction and went by instinct alone when they had to go from one part of their home to the other, and after entering what looked like an indoor pool area, a cemetery and a bedroom with a Crescemon who threatened to cut off Aiozens legs if he didn't get his a** out of her room RIGHT NOW- Toan found that he was utterly lost.
"Ehm... H-Hi Aiozen"
A faint, soft voice interrupted Toans thought as he stood near one of the hallways blue walls. The owner of said voice was a sweet little Palmon, blushing quietly at his feet as she gazed adoringly at the demon digimon by his side.
Where the hell did she come from?
The rookie was pale green and possessed sparkling emerald eyes, she would have been a picture perfect example of a healthy, beautiful digimon had it not been for the nasty gash on her forehead which looked quite fresh
"It´s been a while hasn't it, I'm glad to see your okay"
