TBH I think this mini event is a little over the top, shouldn't we be giving people info on how to find their congressperson so they can write to them?

Raising awareness is one thing, taking real action is another.

That remind me of something that happened in 2010, a huge hum ... we call it "piquete" (when you close the main roads so no one can get pass it), because railroad workers wasn't getting paid enough money to well, survive the inflation. And a classmate told me "they should get back home, they are pissing people off" and I wanted to punch her in the face so hard. emotion_facepalm why the concept of a strike it's so hard to understand?

i want to be all active and help fight this dumb bill that i know will never be passed

but

everyone is so up in arms without settling down long enough to think that our government is a democracy. We have to power to call our congressmen, tell them why we, the people it will effect, it is a bad idea, and write hundreds of crabby letters to the guy that pitched this bill....

instead of sitting around on the internet, *~*~PROTESTING*~*~*~

there's an extent that protesting will work to, and this has already passed that mark, and moved into fearmongering. If you are truely passionate about this cause, go call your congressman.
