I am well as can be expected... *sighs and looks down at his wedding ring* ... I do wish that Quortek would return. The iston have been quite... lonely...

That is kind of you to invite me, jallil.
I believe Quortek may feel that if he contacted me, it may just cause me some legal problems of my own... speaking with a fugitive and all. Or perhaps he just merely does not find it important to.

*lays his head back down on the table*
I seem to have difficulty remembering just how I occupied myself before he came to live with me, even though it was quite recently that he had done so.

*idly traces whimsical pattern on the tables surface with the tip of his finger, watching his hand move as he speaks*
It is quite silly, really. I have lived alone far longer.

I don't think it's so silly.
especially if the time you spent alone before was filled with thoughts of being with him.
So you've never really been apart from him.

Jhal I have been apart from him. *frowns slightly* When he had left our world to come here... after a while I had tried to put him out of my mind since I did not expect to ever hear from him again. I had thought it easier to move on than continue to long for the company he would not be granting me.

I am afraid that is not something I can do now, rilu'oh. With us being involved... it is... difficult.

You are mzilst kind, jallil. For now, I think it would be best for me to get some rest in an actual bed sweatdrop It is getting late and though I had fallen asleep here, I do not feel as if I have slept.

After spending the night together and talking about the various things that are going on that involve both of them, Kat reluctantly gets out of bed to let Dec out her back door. Once the good-byes were said, she kissed him deeply and then watched him walk away.

She goes back inside and heads to her bathroom to shower and dress for the day. In a better mood, she decides to go up and get some coffee and see if anyone is around upstairs.

Once upstairs, she sees Ayami sitting at the bar. Heading to the espresso machine, she starts making her cafe' mocha.

"Morning, Ayami...how are you today?" she smiled.
