Grimm Anarky Ophiuchus wasn't that world bearers with white armor? Because white goes bleached bone when it ages, not green. Pre-heresy Death Guard, as far as I know, had White Armor with green shoudler pads(don't ask the specific color I have no diea). They get the pale-green look from their armor being exposed to the disease and rot of nurgle. Their armor is stained with... something green. I dunno. GReen seems to represent plague and decay so there's something spewing green from Nurgle's direction that's coating the armor of the Death Guard. But I suppose that by the time that 40K is set in now, thousands of years past the heresy, their original armor coloring wouldn't remain at all.
Looking at the Horus Heresy books it shows their armour as being Grey

Xenos Mortium Cagalli Yura Attha Drachyench_The_Eternal This one person at my GW has wonderfully converted Iron Warrior and Tyranid armies. I live how his lictor is sucking the brain out of a marines head. surprised I SO have to make one now. What? A plague marine eating a space marines brains like soup? nurgle greater daemon eating a guardsman.
