I've been putting down the coin for digital muscle and bone reference apps that are 360 degree rotatable with different body types.
It's been worth the investment already in my current project. This may encourage me to draw more males since I can almost get the quality up to where my girls are at.
And omg I can even choose where the light source is coming from.

And here we go. Anatomy has been finalized and I've started adding clothing already. Researching knife designs so that is something that will get a big improvement. Needs a good color to contrast and bring out the color of blood.

I couldn't think of a decent design on my own and wanting to go with a more fantasy themed knife, I ended up going with the daedric dagger from Skyrim. Throw some enchantments on there and he'd be a decent assassin type.
I really should snap the disc in half one of these days... it's just so distracting from life... but it's absolutely wonderful for when I need a distraction. emotion_facepalm

Just an observation sweatdrop ... shortened, cuffed up sleeve on the left arm, and sleeveless on the right? confused

Yeah, that was the design of the jacket, but when I get into coloring I'm going to make the seam of the right sleeve more jagged like it was forcefully ripped off at some point to have it make a bit more sense and support the overall image of the character.

I wish I could post all my pages of random doodles, but that's the only one without court notes though. I'm really glad my jury duty is over though. The case was a bit hard for me to sit through because of the crime involved.
