"Which is another way to say lost and can't find our way." skye wrapped his arms around her from behind. "But honestly... I don't mind." He whispered in her ear.

Lyle smiled and leaned into him. She loved his embrace; so warm and seemingly safe. She giggled slightly, trying to think of a response, but she couldn't.

"So where too now?" Skye asked softly, still taking everything in, mostly the way she felt against him. It was nice feeling her pressed against him, his arms loose around her waist. He couldn't get enough of the smell of her hair or skin. It seemed so pure.

"Um, lets just walk around town for now." She said softly as she looked up at him with a smile.

"Okay." Skye slid his hands off from around her waist and slid on into her hand. He didn't really want to let go of her and only hold her hand, but it was hard to walk the other way.

Lyle was sad when he took his arms away from around her waist. Sighing softly, she smiled as he slid his hand into hers. "So, Mr. I-don't-want-to-show-my-geeky-side, who's you're favorite comic hero?" She asked as they began walking.

Skye smiled and shook his head. "Your not gonna let the geek go are you... Well it's kinda of a three way tie I guess, between Captain America, Wolverine, and Iron Man. Not sure why but thats what I got."

Lyle giggle and shook her head slightly. "Of course I'm not letting the geek go, and those are really good picks. Well, my favorite hero is Superman." She said with a smile and a wink.

Skye raised his eyebrow, "Superman... You know I don't think this is going to work if your a Superman fan." He was joking mostly but said it seriously. He didn't get the appeal of Superman. He thought Venom had more appeal and he wasn't even a hero.

Lyle giggled at how serious he sounded. It was cute the way he said that. "I'm not much of an Iron Man fan, but I still love you." She said softly with a small smile. "But I do have to admit, my other favorite hero is Spider Man."

"Well I guess that will have to work." Skye smiled and chuckled a little before kissing her cheek. Then the full extent of what she had said hit him. "Did you... You didn't just say.... Did you?" He couldn't seem to speak in full sentences.

Lyle smiled and raised a brow. "Hm? What exactly did I say?" She asked with a wider smile and a giggle.

Skye just looked at her a moment or two. He had never really been in a situation like this. Girls had told him they loved or adored him before, but never really seriously and he never thought it back, which was the cause of his current freak out. "You said... or I thought I heard..... But did you?" He swallowed hard and tried to form a sentence. "I thought... that.... that you said.... you loved me?" His voice cracked a little towards the end.

Lyle's cheeks turned a little pink as she stared at him with a smile. She nodded slightly and she have his hand a small squeeze. "I did say that, and I mean it." She said softly, pausing before saying. "I do love you. I know we haven't known each other long and that this happy time of us being together will end soon, but I really do love you. Since the moment we met, really. You make me feel normal." She averted her gaze to her feet as her smile disappeared. Even though Skye was a hunter and she wasn't suppose to be with him, she felt complete. Though, every story has an ending, and she didn't want theirs to end.

Skye couldn't believe how perfect her words were, he couldn't have said it better himself. It was like she was reading his own mind. He put his finger under her chin, lifting her face to meet his, and smiled as he looked into her eyes. "I think you must be reading my mind.... which is so unfair." He smiled and kissed her softly. "I love you too" He whispered on her lips.
