two girls on my art table had just been to their concert and took some damn good pictures and were showing me, they also brought in 'revenge'...so i though i'd check them out, so i got their album (revenge at the time)
...and have been head over heels in love with this band ever since 4laugh

My sister at first with the Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge and then my friends showed their oldest music and just fell in "love". Then my friend Heono took me to an Hot Topic to a preview of their Welcome to the Black Parade and I made them hold one for me for $10 with 15% off so yeah.. I was lucky that time. ninja

I was introduced to MCR about a year ago my my friend Jessica.
Jess biggrin o you know who's the best band ever?
Me:Who?
Jess: My Chemical Romance.
Me: Uh-huh.*thinking 'yeah, sure'*
That day I went to her house and she played Three Cheers while we did stuff. After I left, a tune stuck in my head. Jess informed me the next day that that tune was part of "Helena." So I wnet on Yahoo Music and watched the video and it was magic! I would watch the video every day. Then Jess burned me Three Cheers and Bullets for Christmas(bought official versions later) and it was one of the best presents I ever got. I became obsessed. And I still am!

During that horrible emo bashing phase on the internet, MCR's name popped up alot and it made me curious about them. I listened to a few of their songs off Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge and fell in love right away.

well me and my friend was trading CD`s for awhile and i gave him my weezer CD for my chemical romance...i really didnt know them well but after i got to listen to the CD i couldnt stop

I heard them from watching MTV's video thingy...
I saw/heard Helena and it was the best thing I ever heard of.

Well... the first time I had EVER heard of MCR was when I was in 7th grade and I saw the video of I'm Not Okay (I Promise). Of course, my music style still hadn't changed to what it is now yet, so I didn't like them too much. But, once I saw the AMAZINGLY well done video of Helena, I knew it was time to accept them as an excellent band, and have loved them ever since.

Mines pretty boring. I used to be a big rap hip-hip fan, and my my friend was telling me to listen to MCR. At the time I didn't like them, but after nawhile I got sick of rap and all that preppy s**t. So I started listening to rock. It was around this time that Three Cheers came out, and I got obsessed with them after listening to that album. They've been my favorite band since.

Well I was sitting around and my friend sent me a link on the computer to some band so I went to look. She know me and the random bands I look up online. So I went to the link and it was MCR in concert some person took pictures of, so I looked up there music and it kinda reminded me of The Misfits. So I bought their first two cds and Now I'm in love with them. But still the title for the song Helena was so stolen from the misfits.
