Guile was about ready to collapse from exhaustion, his HP has reverted back to a mere one after his weapon dispersed from his hands into nothing but digital coding. He was limping some as he fell to all fours panting some.
"Guile. . ." Jericho walked up to his partner with a hint of worry in his eyes.
"My Shield, I can still fight, If I fail to protect your name what am I as your partner worth? I would sooner rather be deleted then let your name be tarnished!"
Jericho discovered new found vitality in his partner's words. He wanted to retreat but his partner demanded to stay and fight, he was his Shield, not his slave driver. With that he rose up once more as Guile soon followed. The duo stood together with a commanding presence as Jericho drew out the strange card and swiped it through his archaic Digivice. "Guile. . . Evolution!" Jericho's hand-held displayed a triumphant message reading [Change . . . OK!]
"Guilmon. . . Evolution!" Guile's body began to shake with a mysterious red power as his skin slowly tore apart revealing a data-like internal wiring. His form shifted and clicked into a new larger position standing over twenty feet tall. With a burst of power Guile had transformed into his Champion form. "Growlmon!" Shouted Guile as he crossed his arms, his scarf had shifted positions to instead form an upper arm band.
The two stood next to each other, Jericho resting his hand on his partner's knee.

Gatomon watched as the Digimon before her started to glow white. She growled, she should have finished this earlier. Ruby sharpened her claws as she waited for the dinosaur to finish up. "So you are bigger. This won't change anything." She said, running towards the Growlmon, waiting until she was below it before jumping up to attack his jaw.

"My evolution isn't about size p***y cat, its a symbol of a bond between partner and tamer, my Shield will prove this to you!" said the Large Dragon-like Digimon as he rested his palm on the ground awaiting orders from his Tamer. His eyes were filled with excitement and from his lips escaped a sly smile.
"This is the last card in my possession my faithful Lance, lets make it count!" [Card Slice . . . OK!] "Card Slash: Miracle Ruby!" The young man spun his Digivice before sheathing it in his case, he would no longer need it since he was on his last gambit. He relaxed his form since he was confident in his partner's abilities.
The Growlmon's body began to emit a strong sense of power, the card Jericho had sliced had given Guile the power of an Ultimate level Digimon for a short amount of time, if his enemy could evolve to the next level he would have an even chance to win. The Growlmon was relying on his partner's tactics not his power or size, he put off a ruse as if he were merely going to charge into his opponent but rather he had a better plan in mind. "Dragon Spine!" Shouted Growlmon with a slightly deeper voice as his white mane began to glow a bright white. Each hair fired towards and around Gatomon's position hoping to catch her in a net of biological bullets.

Gatomon was already close enough to attack, using Growlmon's own neck as cover from the hair bullets, her claws holding onto it. She smiled as she jumped down off of him, running under his feet to behind him, jumping up onto the base of his tail.

The large dragon stilled his body, knowing better then to violent flail. He heard the area around his own form. He studied his own arsenal for a brief moment before declaring his next attack. "Dino Kick!" The beast delivered a wheel kick in the air to catch the Gatomon off balance, most people unaware that Dino Kick was a two stage attack! His large tail lifted up and came down hoping to crush his opponent!

Gatomon dug her claws in as the Growlmon trying to stay on top of the enemy. She managed to survive stage one of his attack, but when his tail slammed against the ground she was thrown off and flew into one of the rock faces around them.

Growlmon fell to his knees after executing the attack, he collapsed onto the ground degenerating into his rookie form. His limbs spread apart. He had delivered a punishing blow, hopefully enough to decommission his foe, but he was spent, the burst of energy from Miracle Ruby had expired and there he lied bruised and battered.

Gatomon was on the ground, badly damaged. She tried to stand up, looking at Alter. "I need my power back." She called. Alter nodded as he pushed a button on his digivice, his power behind drawn out of him and flowing into Ruby, this time she started to glow, her own Digivolution happening.
AngeWomon stood before Growlmon and his tamer. She was still bruised and battered, but some of her power had returned. "You are done. Now you are to come with us." She said.

Pegassumon trotted behind Jericho so he would not be able to run.

Guile snarled at the pair trying to get up, he wanted to fight but he could no longer move his body. He let out a defeated whimper as he slid down once more. "My Shield I have failed to protect you!" exclaimed the angered Guilmon.
Jericho walked up his faithful partner and lifted up his body. He placed it over his shoulder, his hand giving his head a comforting stroke. "No my Lance, I have failed you, but you know we must continue our Journey. If we were imprisoned for fighting against the wrong opponents our travels would come to end, come we must make haste!"
With a triumphant shout Jericho had tossed a series of smoke bombs onto the ground disappearing from sight and had long since vanished. From this day forth the pair were no longer outcasts but fugitives, running from the law. They wanted fame for their actions, unfortunately they had bitten off more then they could possibly chew.
((Well I escaped as planned, and now I have the Blue Angels after me! What fun >XD -sarcasm-))

Alter watched as Jericho ran off, pretending to not see him escaping into the distance. He had more pressing matters at hand. He looked at Ruby. "I guess we have to go after him. I think he went this way." He said, pointing towards the said location of the Ancient Wisemon Cult.
