*Just about to go into her office and she hears every word Ryzan says. She drops her drink and the glass crashes to the floor. Turning abruptly her mouth is agape, she cannot believe what she just heard and gasps. *

She sits there, listening to Ryzan talk about her father and his history of indiscretions. Nodding as he told his story, she sipped her drink and then set it on the bar. But when he told her that Quortek.....that TES was her brother was when her widened in shock.

"Wait a minute...you mean to tell me that TES.....TES is my half-brother?"

She's glad she's sitting down and she doesn't say anything for a moment. And then it hits her....all those times she had mercilessly teased him. She had done that to her brother? gonk She turns to Ryzan with wild eyes.

"OMIGOD, TES IS MY BROTHER!?!? Ryzan, tell me you're kidding! You're kidding, right? Of course you're kidding...this is just some sick joke to get back at me for torturing him so much!"

She grabs her drink with a shaky hand and finishes it. As she pours the rest of her martini from the shaker into the glass, she looks at Ryzan, her voice shaky with emotion.

"Does he know?" She shakes her head, "Of course he knows...you said you had to talk to the other person first before you could tell me. Does he believe you? Does he believe we're....we're..siblings?"

*laughs nervously*
I... um... I spoke with Draa since Quortek is still in hiding sweatdrop He... he did not take the news well sweatdrop He spent mzilt of the kre'tan in the bathroom sweatdrop

He... or rather Quortek to be more accurate, has always been looked down upon in our hometown of Neriak and he never knew why. It was because Horthien was his father. I was not allowed to tell him, so I did not. Rilu'oh... when I discovered that your mother was the rivvil he had a child with... I felt I could no longer keep this secret as it has a great deal of relevence now sweatdrop

I would not joke about something that would upset either of you to such a degree sweatdrop I find it quite... um... awkward myself sweatdrop

She sits there, not really knowing what to say and turns sad eyes to Ryzan.

"Well, I would imagine you would feel awkward, considering your husband was caught in a compromising position with his sister! gonk "

She rakes her hand through her hair. "I...I just...Ryzan, I don't even know what to make of this right now. A few days ago, I didn't even know squat about my father, and now I find out not only do I have a brother....but I flirted outrageously with him at times!"

Tears fill her eyes and she wipes them away with the back of her hand.

"What kind of person am I? Dear lord, I'm a worse person than I thought I was!" she said quietly.

She turns to Psy and looks at her, not knowing what to say. Swallowing, she looks down at her drink.

"I...I'm not sure...Psy....I don't want to intrude on you and Dougherty's privacy....and I don't know about your dogs either... sweatdrop " She drinks some more of her martini.

"I think I'd really rather be in my quarters. Familiarity and all that, ya know? I'll see you tomorrow though."
