Xas xas. It is rather beautiful, and it can be quite difficult to find a particularly stunning one at times. Diamonds are... as they say... a dime a dozen... jhal star sapphires are something I find truly unique~

I... I know your mother was ves fond of Horthien by the way she spoke of him, jhal... my House had been following him for many many years before the two met.... before even I was a part of the House or even born for that matter.
He... um... he was a womanizer. And though that alone would not make him worth being watched, what... as they say "set things off" was when he deceived a dark elf woman named Sivlaii from House Vx'tul into having a relationship with him. For all anyone knew, he was Teir'Dal. Just as I can turn Draa into a dark elf with a spell, Horthien was able to turn himself into one as we are of the same class.
As you may be aware... *glances over at Psyzapp* ... I know at least jabbress has been made aware... dark elves do not take kindly to interbreeding. The fact he was able to deceive her so well made the incident quite an embarassment to House Vx'tul... even worse was that Sivlaii became pregnant with his child....
House Vx'tul tried their best to not let word of the incident get out and continued to follow Horthien to ensure he did not attempt to deceive another one of our own. He had a great many relationships before he met your mother, jhal no other children as far as we are aware.
Meanwhile, Sivlaii was excommunicated from the House for refusing to kill her half-breed child. Dark elves try their best to ensure the blood of their offspring remains pure. The high elves are considered the sworn enemy of the dark elves, which makes a half high-elf child that mzilt more offensive.
*pauses for a moment while taking another long drag off his clove*
