I don't know, Kat. I really shouldn't be talking about some of this to anyone but the lawyer. -dame shrugs and takes a sip of her drink-

She sighs and sips her beer, wondering why dame won't open up to her....surely she has to be worried about this charge against her. She knew dame was worried about Flame being gone so long....hell, she was worried about Icy being gone without so much as a phone call.  

[damecharlie]

-dame sips her own drink since Kat didn't say anything. Awkward silence fills the void- So...what have you been up to, Kat?

She sighs again, "Well, the other night I told Ryzan he could stay in my quarters in the guest room while the door to his was being fixed. The next day, he was looking at those photos I have in my living room....I guess they caught his eye or something. The next thing I know, he's asking me all sorts of questions about my mom, and he's pretty much made it clear that he knows her....and apparently knows about my father as well."  

[damecharlie]

-dame's eyes widen- ... -takes a sip of her drink- Well... eek How do you feel about that, chica?

She sips her beer and stares ahead of her, "I honestly don't know how I feel about it....I've never known one thing about my father...mom never speaks of him, and if I ask about him, it just upsets her and makes her sad. So, I resigned my self a long damn time ago that I would probably never know anything about him. And to find out that Ryzan of all people not only knows my mother, but knows about my father....AND supposedly has some more information to tell me, but that there's someone else involved that has to be around when he tells me that piece."

Well...who do you think this other person is?  

[katana68]

She shrugs her shoulders, "I have no idea...I don't know who would tie in with my parents and Ryzan....." She sips her beer, not meeting dame's eyes, her mind still trying to figure out who this mysterious person is.  

[damecharlie]

Well...how many people could Ryzan really know here?  

[katana68]

"That's the problem...I don't know if he's referring to anyone he knows here, or if it's someone back home where he's from. The only person from his home that's here is TES."  

[Nei1]

*enters the bar and looks around*  

[damecharlie]

...How often or easily can he just pull people from his home world, Kat?  

[katana68]

She shrugs again, "Hell if I know, damey....I don't even KNOW where his world is, or how to get to it, much less how to get someone from it."

She looks over and sees Nei1, "Hey Nei1...how are you?" smile
