How could you even think that I would be drinking if I were pregnant! neutral Do you really think I would be so irresponsible? *She puts her hand on her hip* Today wasn't easy for me. I understand it's for the better, but that doesn't mean that I don't feel a twinge of disappointment too!

Do you think it is really necessary for me to speak with a lawyer for Quortek? I would think they would wish to have contact with the accused... jhal I am not certain how mzilt information I can get from the Officers on the matter since it is not often I have the opportunity to speak with one of them.

I promised you I would. After you left for work I did just that and if Gilda wouldn't have been there I would have gotten some form of home test to find out.
If I were so blessed to be carrying your child, I would ensure that I was getting the best care possible and take every precaution for myself AND our child. I am not some ninny that would go around being reckless when it comes to the well being of a child…OUR child. I love you and I would look upon the blessing of a pregnancy with the utmost seriousness.

"Well, if you know where he is, I'm sure a meeting could be arranged. Dougherty did tell you the charges he was faced with, but given the circumstances under which he did it, there might be some room for negotiation. She looks for one of Harv's cards, finds one, and hands it over to Ryzan.
"This is the attorney who is going to take dame's case. Perhaps you should try and contact him and just see what he has to say about the entire matter."

Lawyers just is not the way dear Quortek works. If he is ever in trouble with the law, he disappears. No negotiating. No "turning himself in". *hangs his head a bit* ... and no apologies to those he had left behind....
*quickly wipes his eyes and stands, heading behind the counter and retrieving a snifter and some peach brandy*
He can be gone for years.... even decades if necessary...

Standing between his legs and very close to him, she reaches up cupping both hands on either side of his face and she leans into him kissing him tenderly for quite some time.* Thank you for apologizing to me. Yeah, that's an understatement. Are you perchance offering to give me a back rub? I could most definitely use one of those. *He lets her remove his footwear and unbutton his shirt. But then he stands up to remove his gear belt himself and places it on the chair where his clothing will soon follow. Once stripped down to his boxers, he lays flat on the bed on his stomach, and waits for her luxurious hands to rub him down.*
