*Having gone to bed much earlier than she normally would have, she wakes up feeling pretty decent since she got more sleep than typical. She gets dressed and goes up to the bar for her latte. Upon seeing Ryzan, she smiles kindly and greets him.* Good morning Ryzan. Are you doing okay? How's your face doing? I did see than maintenance fixed your door. I'm sorry you had to experience such an ordeal. I was not too happy myself. stare She finishes making her latte and has a seat by him.*

Yes he did. I was there and saw the whole thing. I was trying to reason with Dame in the doorway to my Chambers. She hasn't even spoken to the attorney's I sent and she should have done that immediately. stressed She then would have an expert representing her interests to the Police and she could keep her mouth shut if the situation is particularly bad for her. A good attorney can make miracles happen.
Anyway, Officer Dougherty showed up at home to check on me as I was quite upset when I went down to see her at the precinct and there she was. He told her she wasn't to be released until they had an opportunity to talk with her and she got hysterical. Then Quortek grabbed her and they bolted into your room and locked the door. TES nabbed her and just took off. stressed So, Officer Dougherty went after them and well, you know what happened then.
William told me there was a car chase. TES escaped and Dame, Bonnie and Dec were passed out in the car and taken to a hospital to get checked out. *She sips her latte.*

I do not mean to further stress you by asking questions sweatdrop It is just that, given your relationship with Officer Dougherty, I thought you may be the mzilst likely to have heard something first and foremost on the matter. I do hope dame and her friends are being well taken care of in the hospital.

I wish I knew more. Officer Dougherty has been gone quite a bit. I'm sure it's due to his regular rounds and trying to work on this case. stare I'm sure that I would be one of the very first to hear of any updates regarding the situations…at least from his point of view. neutral Dame refuses to confide in me so I don't really know what is going on with her or the severity of her dilemma. If she would have just come to me immediately, I probably could have taken care of it for her. You'd be surprised what throwing huge sums of money around can do for you. stare

Xas xas. I believe the reason behind such is because one who becomes a politician often does so for the potential of having more power than "the average citizen". One with such a mindset often has an insatiable hunger for power. No matter what position they may obtain, it just is not enough. Naturally, they will become greedy for money in the process of trying to obtain more power as money is what enables them to feed their hunger for power.
