She gives Ryzan a puzzled look.
"Well, she's never mentioned any to me....she just said that I was her only child. All she's ever said was that I was the only thing she had left to remember my father by." She shrugs and sips her coffee.
She grins at Ryzan, "You sure are interested in my family history, Ryzan....perhaps I should have her come visit sometime?"

*finishes up his brandy and places the snifter in the sink, then walks around the counter and up to katana, moving her hair to the side and inspecting her ears*
Intriguing.... they look completely rivvil. *holds katana under the chin and turns her face a bit, looking at her features* Usstan shlu'ta'naut kyorl jala darthirii a jal....
*seems completely fascinated at katana's appearance*

*before she has a chance to respond to Ryzan, katana's cellphone goes off. She checks to see who's calling and sees it's only the maintenance people, so she decides to ignore it. However, after hanging up, they just call again. Frustrated, she answers and just about screams at them. The maintenance worker apologizes and says that he has finished the job on Ryzan's door and is just waiting to receive payment. She groans and says she'll be down in a moment and asks Ryzan to excuse her a bit while she takes care of it and she'll be right back to talk further about this.*
Actually... I am afraid there is not mzilt I should tell you at this time. Eventually, xas, jhal not right now. There is someone else I need to speak with on the matter who is unknowingly involved. I wish to tell the both of you at the same time if it can be arranged.
*not understanding just how this concerns anyone else since it's about her father, katana considers arguing the point, but ultimately the annoying maintenance worker calling her again directs her frustration elsewhere. She agrees to speak with Ryzan another time, indicating that there were other things she wanted to get done today anyway, but there was no way she was going to let this subject drop and expected to hear his explanation soon. With that, she bids her farewells to him and Lady Leko, then goes downstairs to pay the maintenance guy. Afterward, she lets him out instead of waiting for security to do it, then returns to her quarters to get ready to run errands and exits out the back*
