He asked iraising an eyebrow "Come on, I dare you to try harming me and deal the consecuences, and I warn you...healing is not the only thing my magic can do" He said as he took of his whip -he uses as a belt- from his waist "Our maybe you would like some whipping...its amazing this tool here...a nice wheapon and a kinky sex toy" The angel said with a Evilish grin as he hit the whip on the floor

Kane felt a surge of energy shoot through his body as Lan touched his pressure point again. He reached up to grab Lan's shoulder when he heard something drop with a clang behind them. Tunring his head, he could only see a blob as his vision was blurred. Wondering if he was hallucinating from the euphoria, he asked Lan, "Did...did you hear that?"

Lan opened his eyes and let his vision clear. In the doorway was a demon. He had fair skin and black hair, with the bright red eyes of a demon. He was wearing red and had a sword at his side. Lan sat up and looked with pure hatred at the demon. "You!"
"Yes" said the demon in a refined voice, "Me. You didn't I would just let you have a happy life did you. You are worse than your father, you are a disgusting freak as well as a sinner. You lie with this boy as you would a woman" he said with a quiet hatred in his voice
"Kane. Meet the demon who killed my parents." Lan said as he reached over and grabbed his sword. "Time for me to return the favor"

At first kane only looked at the man with a blank look. Then, as his vision cleared and he got a good look, he let out a roar. He shot a sharp blast at the man, hopping to hit him back. Then he grabbed his sword from where it lay at the side of the bed. "I shall destroy you!"

Lan reached out a hand and held Kane back. "No....I have to do this" he said as he drew his sword and walked towards the demon. "Time for this to end" Lan said as the demon drew his sword, very similar to Lan's. The two blades crossed and Lan attacked. He cut, stabbed, and parryed in turn with the demon. Sparks flew as the blades met again and again, neither could gain the upper ground. Then Lan swung from the shoulder and across the demon's stomach. He made a cut, but he had left his left arm open. The demon growled in pain and then lunged forward, stabbing his sword through Lan's left shoulder.

As Kane watched in horror as the man's blade passed though Lan's arm, he knew he could not let Lan alone in this matter, no matter what he was told. Jumping up, Kane concentraed and sent the blade cleanly out of the wound and back toward the man. Then he readied to help block any blows the man might try to land on Lan.

Lan clutched his bleeding shoulder and stood. He put a hand on Kane's shoulder "D......don't...Im....Im going to finish him now....I....I know how." He gently pushed Kane aside and locked blade with the demon once more. He smiled "I know what you fear" he said as he opened his mouth and began to sing. Kane obeyed and also covered his own ears, just in case. As he watched the demon's reaction he felt a little more secure in Lan's ability to defeat him. Still, he was ready to help if needed and definately ready to rush to Lan's wound when the battle was done. Confused as the lights left the room with no force, Kane wondered how much power lan's voice really held. He concentrated on his surroundings through touch so that he would not be ambushed should the demon switch plans or mistake his target.

The demon was terrified. He could barely control his sword. Lan and he fought back and forth until Lan shut out all light. The demon screamed and a squelch was heard. Lan flickered the lights back on and Kane saw Lan's sword going through the demon's neck. Lan pulled it out and the body crumpled to the floor. A trickle of blood was streaming from Lan's mouth and he had a long cut under his left eye. He small cuts on his body and blood still flowed from the wound in his shoulder. Lan turned and limped over to Kane. "I...It's....over...." he said faintly. "Y....you and......I can finally love each other in peace" Lan smiled and kissed Kane before falling into his arms.

Kane gently picked Lan up and placed him on the bed. "Lan, I wish you would have let me help. Maybe then you wouldn't be injured like this." Kane was worried that maybe Lan would not be okay. As he tried to clean and bandage Lan's wounds, he said, "Is there anything else I can do?" Kane did not want to be helpless, especailly not now that his love was hurting.

"Th....the rose in the chest....where the mask and the clothes are.....bring it here" Lan said. Kane went and did so, wondering why. Lan gulped and said "P....put one of the petals inside my shoulder cut.....it will heal. R...rub one on my cut on my face...." he said holding Kane's hand.

It pained Kane to hear Lan's labored speech, but he did as he was told. he stuck a few of the petals into the shoudler wound and rubbed another on the scratch on Lan's cheek. "Like this?" He aked in a small voice. "Does it hurt?" Tears were starting to creep into the corners of his eyes, but he tried his best to stay strong.

Tears ran down Lan's face. "It.....it's the worst pain i...ive ever felt...bu...but you are here...." he said as he brought up his uncut right arm and put his hand behind Kane's neck. He pulled Kane down gently and had him kiss Lan.

Large tears were dripping from Kane's face. He could not stand to hear that his love was in so much pain. He hated himself for not being able to help and blamed himself for Lan's injuries. "I...Why did he have to come? What did he hope to accoplish by finding you just to hurt you again. I don't understand people." Kane was no longer in control of his sorrow. It was pouring through him like a hot acid to his soul. It drained him of his warmth and energy, making him feel very empty and disconected.
