Noctis watched her attack with those blood disk things, if he knew anything was that even if it looked harmless any jutsu could do damage. When she flicked her had towards him and the disks flew to him. He reached for his sword on his back and held it against his forearm in a reverse grip and whirled around creating a shield of elemental chakra around his body blocking all of the blood disks. As he finished his whirl he resheathed his sword and prepared his next jutsu. As his shield was dropping he held his arm out and released a powerful gust of one from it. He hadn't even moved from his original spot yet.

Noctis raised an eyebrow at her sudden disappearence his fuuton jutsu knocked the kunai she had thrown away. Noctis closed his eyes and attempt to sync his breathing with Jae's. He synced with her breath allowing him to know when he was going to be attacked and did a flip in the air evading the slash at his calfs. His face faced her while he was flipping through the air he had the same calm cool look, 4 small clouds appeared around both of them. He then went in for a counterattack by ending his flip prematurely with a handstand and using the momentum of the flip to aim a kick at Jae in her squatted position.

Her gaze never left his as he stared her down, his expression as serene as ever. Jae had dropped her facade by now, her expression mirroring his own. The only difference was the brightness in her eyes. Fighting was what she lived for. Pain was not something she was foreign to and welcomed it. The unnatural look, the burning desire in her eyes, was something she had to hide from people on a daily basis, it was her inner personality brought forth. The malicious intent that the budding Kunoichi had towards her 'prey' was something that she knew would illicit distrust in those she worked with. It was part of the reason she hated sparring. Blood. That was what she wanted. It was in her nature to expect it and fight until it had been spilt. Enemy or ally, if they crossed her path and took arms against her she did not hesitate. It made her efficient and being detached from anything but that spartan want and need to defeat those that stood in her way was the greatest form for rapid development. Jae was not going to stop now. Not until she had beaten Noctis or been rendered unconscious. She had warned him to leave her alone and to not get involved with her. It was his own fault for not listening.
Jae stayed in her position, moving through her next hand movements easily, despite having a sword still held loosely in one hand. Activating her chakra, she anticipated and reacted toward Noctis's rebuttal. That kick was quick but it was a close combat ranged attack that she had followed by simply watching. Her chakra shot out in quick spurts around her, intermingling with her Fuuton element. The winds reacted immediately, churning and spinning around her, protecting her from Noctis's straightforward attack. Her shield was meant to propel and she was sure her winds were strong enough to knock him back. If not... She raised her blade, anticipating the moment to block him and force him back. She was strong enough to support his weight or at least block if he broke through. Her eyes shimmered slightly as she revved in the desire to cut him and draw blood. What was it going to take to slice him into pieces and make him go away?

Noctis kick hit the wind jutsu, now if he broke through it would leave him somewhat vunerable since she could have time to prepare for it. So he chose to not do that and let the winds knock him back. He landed on his feet and kept his eyes on Jae.
(Silly girl, I used a bukijutsu marked Simple, which means it does not need chakra to use ^_^ razz )

Noctis watched as Jae wasn't moving to attack him this time. He pulled his sword out and swung at the air as if trying to hit an invisible enemy. But this was one of his sword abilities. Since the floor was covered in pure white snow Jae would probably not notice the the white circle that had formed around her. He then would use another ability that would turn every snowflake in his techniques as hard as stone, increasing the cutting power of each individual flake.

❅After having enough of lounging around on the soft, frost-covered grass near the frozen pond, Shimiru huffed and steadily got up. With a yawn, she stretched and straightened her back. 'I think that break was a bit too long...' With a groan, she grudgingly got back to reading the scrolls strewn about around her. 'That one seems pretty useful...' After a few moments of silently reading over the technique, Shimiru quickly memorized the hand seals required and stood up, preparing herself for the jutsu.
Karasu Bunshin no Jutsu [Crow Clone Technique] [1/3]
With pale hands flashing through hand signs and eyes blazing with concentration, the white-haired girl spread out her arms and watched in pure fascination as her limbs and body scattered into ink-black crows. It was certainly a strange experience. Her consciousness remained, but it seemed much more...spread out. Her field of vision also increased, as she was now able to see through the crows' eyes.
Karasu Bunshin no Jutsu [Crow Clone Technique] [2/3]
The ceaseless cawing of the dark birds reverberated through the air, overwhelming her sense of hearing. With a silent command, Shimiru was surprised to find that the birds instantly quieted. It was as if she was controlling them all at once since they were indeed all a part of her body. Now the only thing that could be heard was the flapping of many dark wings. She sent one particular crow up to settle on a tree branch and found that if she focused, she could see whatever the crow was seeing, since she shared consciousness with it. Shimiru spent a bit more time getting familiar with the Technqiue before she released it. The crows all gathered back together and formed a black mass before taking back the form of Shimiru.
Karasu Bunshin no Jutsu [Crow Clone Technique] [3/3] Complete
After that technique, the girl settled back down on the grass and looked over the scroll once more. There were indeed many useful techniques, but none of them were elemental in this particular scroll. Her ice-blue eyes skimmed over the paper before pausing and looking over one particular technique. She made sure to memorize the hand seals and go over them multiple times before advancing to the specific mechanisms of the technique.
Senei Jashu [Hidden Snake Hands] [1/3]
Since this jutsu required a target, the girl walked over to the training dummy, which to her amusement still carried the 'puncture wounds' from her Hyouton technique. After doing the hand seals, she spread out her arms towards the dummy and focused chakra to them. Unfortunately, nothing happened. Shimiru bit her lip and tried again, this time making sure that each hand sign was the correct one. Her arms were outstretched towards the dummy when she focused chakra to them a second time.
Senei Jashu [Hidden Snake Hands] [2/3]
To her relief, immediately after the chakra was focused to her arms, a snake shot from each arm and rapidly attached to the dummy. One curled around it's throat while the other was poised to bite the dummy's arm, leaving Shimiru taken aback by their speed and binding abilities. The girl released the technique and watched as the snakes disappeared in a plume of smoke. She walked back to her spot between the pond and tree and plopped down on the grass, picking up the scroll to continue reading.
Senei Jashu [Hidden Snake Hands] [3/3] Complete
By now, Shimiru definitely had a better understanding of how jutsu and chakra worked, having spent so much time reading the scrolls. However, most if them didn't appeal to her tastes. While many of them were destructive, flashy, and most likely fatal, few were subtle and unnoticeable. This definitely worked to annoy Shimiru, but her attention was suddenly caught on a technique which had the potential to be very useful. Her eyes skimmed over it's history and details before settling on the hand seals required.
Doku Kiri [Poison Mist] [1/5]
The technique was a bit more complex yet very basic in it's use, which didn't surprise Shimiru much. It was B ranked, after all. After the girl took her time memorizing the hand seals and repeating them multiple times until she got it down, she then moved on to work on the way the chakra was supposed to be focused and sent out throughout her body. It was similar to the Hidden Mist Technique, yet much more deadly, so the chakra concentration was increased and moved differently.
Doku Kiri [Poison Mist] [2/5]
At first, it was difficult to grasp the specific workings of the chakra in order to activate the jutsu, no matter how similar to a different technique it was. She wasn't sure how to shape or send out the chakra so it would create the poisonous mist and how much of the mist it would produce. She stood for a few good moments, trying to figure it all out and occasionally looking to the scroll for any help it could provide.

Gradually, her constant thinking was starting to pay off when she began to understand the jutsu. It now seemed so simple, and she was embarrassed to think about how lost her expression must have been when first reading over the technique. With a heavy sigh, Shimiru went through the hand signs, wincing at how sore her hands were at that point, and focused a specific amount of her chakra before releasing it. As expected, when the chakra was released, mist once again blanketed her surroundings. Shimiru took a deep breath and held it until she was sure that the technique was done properly.

After two minutes and focusing some chakra to her lungs, Shimiru quickly canceled the technique and gasped for breath, only when she was sure the mist was completely gone. She layed back down on the grass and panted for a moment before regaining her breath and turning her head to gaze sourly at the scroll. 'Ok, one more and I'll stop. One more...' She groaned and hoisted herself upright so she was sitting cross-legged, although with a slight slouch of her back which unfortunately gave away how tired she was.

With eyes now dulled from so much training, Shimiru's gaze remained on the piece of parchment that listed the techniques genin were free to learn. When she paused to briefly look over a particular technique, she knew that she wouldn't give up until it was learned, unfortunately. The Kage Bunshin seemed fairly simple, almost just like the Gensu Bunshin, but she definitely wouldn't underestimate it's effectiveness. To have to repeat the confusion she went through from her previous technique was just unacceptable.
Kage Bunshin no Jutsu [Shadow Clone Technique] [1/5]
Her thoughts mainly centered around how the chakra was to be sent out to actually create the clone and how the clone would acquire half of the amount of her chakra. A most useful technique, but this meant that she needed to work heavily on speed if she wanted to keep the clone out of harm's way. Her attention then moved to the specific hand seals listed that needed to be memorized.
Kage Bunshin no Jutsu [Shadow Clone Technique] [2/5]
A dull pain was beginning to form at the base of her neck from looking down at the scroll for so long, but Shimiru did her best to ignore it and continue trying to memorize the hand seals. She repeated them over and over before actually performing them, since messing up might prove fatal during a fight. Then came the part where she had to practice shaping her chakra correctly for the technique to work. It was boring, but it was necessary, something which she kept repeating to herself.
Kage Bunshin no Jutsu [Shadow Clone Technique] [3/5]
Finally, Shimiru stood up and slowly went through the hand seals before holding a specific, cross-shaped one with both her hands. She closed her eyes and sent out her chakra, which resulted in an identical clone of herself suddenly appearing next to her. With a sigh of relief, Shimiru patted the clone's shoulder to make sure of it's solidity before examining it's chakra. Indeed it held half of her own, which made it able to also perform jutsu.
Kage Bunshin no Jutsu [Shadow Clone Technique] [4/5]
With an order from Shimiru, the clone nodded and pulled back her fist before punching Shimiru. The girl swiftly caught it, but it only confirmed that she she had properly done the technique. With another nod, the clone stood beside her and Shimiru walked over to the scrolls before briefly going over the techniques she had learned and committing them to memory.
Kage Bunshin no Jutsu [Shadow Clone Technique] [5/5] Complete
With a huff, the white-haired girl picked up all the scrolls and slowly walked back inside the academy, taking careful steps so she wouldn't drop any of them. After putting them back where she first found them, Shimiru quickly walked out of the academy and into the dojo to work on less chakra-intensive techniques, with her clone trailing behind her. Since she didn't have a training partner yet, Shimiru would have to settle with practicing with a Shadow Clone.

Noctis tossed his sword away and flew through handsigns creating two shadow clones. One of the charged at Jae to distract her one stayed behind and Noctis leaped back into the air. Going through more handsigns. he brought his hand to his mouth and exhales a powerful stream of wind but hidden within is a explosive tag which explodes and ignites the wind in to a stream of fire heading at Jae.

Genesis arrived at the dojo and immediately set to work, taking out his supposed Clans scroll reading over the first jutsu in the list. It was a good one, a jutsu that increased the cutting power of his blade which would help him greatly in the coming battles. He read over the scroll and attempted to memorize everything he could about the jutsu. He then went about practicing the jutsu, spreading a thin veil of his white chakra over the length of the blade

He kept going on with it, practicing spreading and sharpening the chakra to a fine point, thus increasing the cutting power of the blade. Once he felt he was satisfied he walked over to the nearest dummy and swung his blade. Even though the core was made in steel he cut it clean in two!

The next jutsu literally built upon the first one. It was a jutsu that allowed him to fire off a pulse of chakra and make it explode from a distance. This also increased his power in battle, giving him the edge over more experienced and stronger swordsmen. He practiced building up the required amount of chakra over his blade and sending it down the length of it. It took some timing but eventually he felt like he had it down

Once he felt like he had it down he walked over to yet another training dummy and attempted to actually practice the jutsu on it. He put a thin veil of his chakra over the blade and readied himself. He pointed his blade at a nearby target and let it fire. The result was an explosion the size of a exploding tag which turned the dummy into a smoldering crater

The next one would not only increase his blades cutting power but elongate it another foot for no increased weight. It would be a very difficult jutsu to learn and one he would have to take slowly to learn. So the first thing he did was read over the scroll slowly and carefully, learning everything he could about it in order to preform it

The next step would be focusing his chakra into a level far beyond what he had done so far. He would have to completely master his change in chakra form and thus sharpen and elongate it into a more deadly blade. He practiced doing it over and over until he was sure that when he tried it, it would work.

He walked towards the nearest sheet of metal and drew his blade once more. He spread his chakra down the length of his huge blade just like he had been doing. The blade grew another foot in length and turned pure white. He slashed the piece of metal in two with no effort at all. The added length was a nice touch for the blade as well

The next jutsu he would learn would be an even more difficult one. This would also be the first one in which it was not blade based. This one would require a lot of effort to learn and to start he would go through the hand signs slowly and carefully in order too preform the jutsu fast and in the heat of battle

The next thing would be learning the correct amount of chakra to do in this particular jutsu. He again went through the hand signs, built up the chakra and attempted to preform it like the scroll said. To his disappointment absolutely nothing happened. He frowned slightly and redoubled his efforts in learning the jutsu

Now that the first attempt failed he was dedicated in trying again. He had to get this jutsu done and over with. No longer was it a challenge to do it, it was a goal of personal pride to get it done. Once more he went through the hand signs and attempted it. He tried to preform and this time the clone appeared but did not glow like it was supposed to"DAMN IT!" He yelled angrily

Once more! He would try once more and if he did not get it this time then to hell with it! He went through the hand signs once more and poured his angry chakra into the jutsu. This time when he preformed it a perfect replica of himself appeared. Though this one was blindingly bright and white. He finally got it done!

This next one was special, a technique that effected the enemy on two fronts. It blinded the enemy and cut them to pieces. This jutsu would and could also be used to attack at a distance. Once more he practiced spreading a huge amount of chakra unto his blade. This would be the first step in learning this jutsu

He then went about practicing his speed. He would have to swing the blade faster and swifter then he ever had before. He hefted his blade above his head and swung downwards then upwards then downwards over and over again. It took a couple hours and by the time he was done his arms burned but still he had achieved his level of speed

The next part in this jutsu would be sending the chakra off the blade while keeping it in a sharpened and focused form. He spread it upon his blade as he had done over and over again throughout the coarse of his training. This time he practiced separating the chakra from the blade. He did it over and over again until he felt he had it down pact.

Okay now it was time to put it all together. He hefted his sword unto his shoulder and smiled, for now was the time to preform his master stroke. He swung the blade faster then he ever had four times. Each time he did so a line of white chakra flew off the blade at its vertex, flying forward and cutting everything in its path

❅ The girl who dared not waste any time hesitating or standing around quickly went in search of a specific bukijutsu scroll the moment she stepped inside the dojo. It seemed to be fairly empty, with a few people here and there, but nonetheless Shimiru walked to the most unpopulated spot of the dojo and unfurled the scroll, briefly skimming over the techniques before her icy blue eyes landed on the most simplest of the techniques which she would need to start out with.
After handing the scroll over so the clone could also read on the techniques, she placed it down and got up to face the clone. Shimiru and the clone simultaneously unsheathed their daggers before the girl nodded, signaling for the clone to attack her. As it got close and thrust it's dagger forward, Shimiru clutched her own dagger and swung her arm upwards to clash against the blade and push it away. The girl and clone repeated the action once more to make sure that she had gotten it down.
Countering Technique: Upward Repel [1/1] Complete
The clone and herself continued to spar, but Shimiru had to be careful not to land any rough blows that would dispel the clone. Without skipping a beat, Shimiru focused chakra to her right hand and swung her hand rapidly to the training dummy near them, hitting it in the chest with the hilt of the dagger. A loud thud was enough to satisfy Shimiru and allowed her to move on to the next step of training.
Countering Technique: Assisted Jab [1/1] Complete
Shimiru allowed her clone to be on stand by for a bit and faced the dummy she was currently determined to destroy by the time she was done with training. Of course, she would then very stealthily sneak away and deny any damage. Her money was very low, after all. She took a deep breath before quickly slashing at the dummy. Upward, downward, sideways, she continuously slashed until she felt her speed grow. It wasn't enough to fully satisfy her, yet it would have to do.
Offensive Style: Knife Stances [1/1] Complete
Once she stopped heavily abusing the dummy, Shimiru turned to face the clone once more and nodded. At the signal, the clone began to slash relentlessly at her. The girl settled for blocking for a while, and gradually began to notice that she was now able to keep with the clone and properly block and parry it's attacks. She then switched to the offensive and began slashing at the clone while constantly changing the direction of the slashes. Bit by bit, it slowly became easier for her to adjust. After more training and slashes, Shimiru stopped when she was satisfied with her improvement.
Offensive Style: Simple Play [1/1] Complete

Next, the clone and her faced off once more, with daggers poised and at the ready. The two figures simultaneously crouched before shooting towards each other and slashing. As the clone slashed downwards, Shimiru took that chance and slashed upwards, a parry. A sharp, high-pitched sound reverberated throughout her surroundings from the sudden and direct contact of the two blades.
Countering Technique: Back Repel [1/2]
Immediately after slashing upwards, Shimiru released her knife and allowed the momentum to throw the knife upwards. She swiftly altered her footing and swerved around the clone, glancing at it before turning to catch the dagger from the hilt. At first, her hand was close to being cut by the falling blade, so Shimiru allowed it to drop to the floor before picking it up and repeating the action over and over until it was executed perfectly.
Countering Technique: Back Repel [2/2] Complete
After reading over the next technique from the scroll, the girl set it down on the ground and got up to walk and face the clone again. The clone nodded, and they charged at each other once more. This time however, things would be a bit different. As the clone slashed to the left, Shimiru stepped back and quickly moved the blade from her right hand to her left before parrying by slashing to the right.
Trick Technique: Change of Hands [1/2]
The clone immediately caught on to what she was doing and did the same, thus slashing at Shimiru's blade and catching her off balance. Shimiru narrowed her eyes and flung herself once more at the clone, faking a jab to the left and quickly throwing the dagger to her right hand, only to fake a jab to the right yet again. The clone's eyes filled with confusion before Shimiru successfully held the blade at the clone's throat before stepping back.
Trick Technique: Change of Hands [2/2] Complete
Immediately after she stepped back though, the clone darted forward and slashed horizontally at her abdomen. Shimiru kept her gaze steady as she dodged and slashed back. After a flurry of movement, the girl rapidly switched the blade from her left hand to her right, performing [Change of Hands]. The clone expected this however and slashed back.

Shimiru started her flurry of movement again, this time slashing relentlessly at the clone and changing wielding hands several times. The clone was slowly growing accustomed to her speed, she noted, so she would be further pushed to increase her speed. Right after changing hands, as the clone was expecting yet another horizontal slash, Shimiru instead quickly bent her knees and slashed at the clone's legs, right below it's knees. She used enough force to tear the cloth of it's black training capris but not break skin.

The white-haired girl read over the details of the next technique carefully, this time more alert to the smaller details since chakra now needed to come into play. Once she memorized the theoretic portion of the technique, Shimiru laid down the scroll and practiced channeling chakra to the blade. It was slow going for the first few times since she was not used to channeling chakra to any form of weapon, but with persistent practice she gradually got better.
Offensive Technique: Swift Dart [1/3]
Once her chakra channeling improved, she worked on increasing the rate and speed at which it was focused to the blade since currently, it was moving unacceptably slow. The girl sighed and constantly focused chakra to the blade, going faster each time when she felt her speed increase and her chakra become more fluid.

When her chakra channeling had been perfected, Shimiru aimed the dagger at the center of the dummy's chest before channeling chakra to the blade and rapidly flinging it. She expected the air to whistle, signifying the speed at which the dagger was traveling, but it was silent as she expected. With a dull thunk, the dagger was embedded into the dummy, a few millimeters off target. Shimiru walked to the dummy and pulled the dagger out of it before walking back and picking up the scroll.

The young teen briefly read over the parchment before setting it back down and sighing. The next piece of training, while rather simple overall, required a hightened sense of accuracy, precision, and focus, since it required her being able to catch and handle her blade with ease. Shimiru kept an intent gaze at the dagger as she threw it upwards, watching it spin in the air.

Her gaze was glued on the spinning blade as gravity took hold of it and forced it downwards, to her waiting grasp. By some stroke of luck, she caught the dagger by the hilt. Shimiru shook her head, sighed, and threw the dagger upwards. Up, up, and down...She had caught it again! With an astonished expression, the girl threw the dagger up, caught it, spun it in her hand, and threw it at the dummy...hitting dead center in it's forehead! Shimiru smirked to herself and took hold of the dagger once more, placing it back in it's sheath.

The final technique she would master was rather simple, even more so than the previous, she found after reading the scroll once more. The girl glanced at her clone, which was still waiting patiently for orders, before turning to face the dummy. Shimiru slowly placed her hand on the hilt, drew the dagger, and slashed at the dummy before placing it back in it's sheath.
Offensive Style: Artless Draw [1/2]
The girl repeated the action over and over again countless times, increasing the speed slightly each time and correcting herself as she went along. The action now became simple and rapid, the blade flashing once before disappearing in its sheath, leaving only a deadly slash to mark it's presence. Once Shimiru acknowledged that her speed was indeed acceptable and worthy of the second stage of the style, she sheathed the dagger and walked back to her scroll.

The next one seemed a bit tricky, but Shimiru simply wouldn't give up until her entire training was complete. She read over the words carefully, committing them to memory, before nodding to her clone and facing it, both in fighting stances. At the girl's shout, they both darted towards each other, blades clashing continuously.

Just as the clone slashed downwards, Shimiru parried with an upwards slash, trying to catch the clone off guard. But unfortunately, the clone stood firm on it's feet and quickly retaliated by slashing the dagger back at Shimiru from random angles. By now her body was littered by shallow cuts which stung slightly at each movement, but Shimiru made a point to ignore them, taking the pain as an escalation of the training.

As the clone and her fought, Shimiru once again spotted the perfect opportunity to practice the technique when the clone slashed, leaving an opening. Shimiru crouched and shot her arm forward, parrying. The clone blocked and slashed again, and yet again the girl parried, this time with vicious strength. The clone stumbled backwards, and the girl took the chance.

As the clone stumbled back, Shimiru dropped her dagger and let it clank to the floor. As soon as it bounced due to the momentum, Shimiru kicked it as she would a ball, aiming a few inches away from the clone's head. As expected, the dagger flew towards the clone, passing right by it's head and making it gulp, slightly shaken. Shimiru ran to where the dagger had landed and picked it up, walking back to her original spot.

Shimiru picked up the scroll once more and checked the next technique. So she would have to be in sunlight, eh? The girl quickly signaled for the clone to sit still and wait for her, before quickly heading to the outdoor portion of the dojo. She then unsheathed the dagger and began to angle it so the sunlight would reflect off of it.

As time passed by, Shimiru was gradually beginning to realize that the technique wasn't as simple as it had seemed to be. It required a great deal of precision, especially if you wanted to hit the ray of light very specifically. The girl bit her lip and continues angling the blade, despite her arm being very sore. She had blinded herself twice by now, but was gradually becoming more and more precise.

Right when she had started getting the hang of it, a cloud had passed in front of the sun, and Shimiru had to sit there for about five minutes, waiting for the cloud to slowly float by. It must have seemed like she was cloud watching, the way she stared up at it with an impatient gaze. Finally when sunlight once again shined down, Shimiru continued to practice tilting the blade.
Trick Technique: Dirty Reflection [3/4]
As she trained without having anything hinder her, Shimiru could now properly do the technique at a quick speed. She then practiced unsheathing her dagger and quickly doing it, performing the actions countless times so it would be carried out flawlessly in the heat of battle. Speaking of heat, Shimiru was now growing extremely uncomfortable by the sun's warmth and immediately went back inside when she was done with the technique.

A clone charged her, Jae getting irritated by the motion. She smirked, her canines showing on one side. At least she had gotten him to move. His smug nature from earlier had only served to egg her on. Jae switched momentum. She charged at the clone as it rushed at her, throwing her body at it. Her arms moved, curling in slightly, her sword pointed directly at the clone to meet and impale it, using the tackle as a form of gaining momentum and the strength she needed to easily over power her foe. Despite facing a clone, Jae's gaze was still glued to Noctis, the girl having followed his motion very closely. He had jumped into the air, his hands moving quickly as he moved through his seals. Jae was moving already. She released one of her hands on the sword, using it as leverage she suddenly stuck it into the ground. Instead of allowing herself to be halted she gripped the hilt of the sword with both hands and pushed upward, moving into a handstand. She got one foot on the end of the sword, well the middle sole of her foot and pushed off the end of the sword. She was ready to rush the Noctis directly despite whether or not she had downed the clones. Jae was unrelenting and would take a fraction of what Noctis dished out if it meant closing the gap by catching him off guard in mid air. At least that was what she had prepared for until the Fuuton he sent her way ignited with the air. Now she had a stream of fire coming down her way as she jumped to meet it. The muscles in her limbs locked together and her mind shut down. Jae had spelled her own doom. She was incapable of facing fire, her greatest fear and by propelling herself after Noctis she had frozen and was unable to think of a maneuver to escape what was now coming directly at her. She squeezed her eyes shut , brought her arms up in front of her in an 'x' pattern to protect her face and waited for the worst.

The first clone was killed by her attack. Noctis was watching her knowing she would try to rush him while he was in the air. But he noticed that she suddenly froze. With his newly made fire jutsu heading right towards her. The second clone he had made saw this as well and body flickered to her and knocked her aside getting hit in the back by the fire technique and being destroyed. Noctis landed on his swords hilt, when he threw it it landed blade first a few feet away. He jumped off it and resheathed it. He then walked towards Jae his hand in the air indicating her to stop."What the hell was that."

Jae felt the jolt of being collided into, the second clone Noctis had produced jarred her out of the way from the Fuuton infused inferno attack that had been heading her way. She landed on the ground, body first, rolling away from the heat of the attack as it finished off the second clone. She panted lightly, her eyes still wide as she struggled internally to break the spell the fire attack had over her. Slowly she sat up, her right arm shaky as it supported her. Flames seemed to light up her vision despite having disappeared already. It was her own personal hell that she remembered and as Noctis approached her she snapped out of her recollection of the past. Jae narrowed her gaze, clenching her teeth together in an audible snap. She took the defensive but relaxed slightly as she noted Noctis held his hand up, a universal gesture of abide on standby. "What the hell was that." It wasn't a question it was a statement and one that she supposed Noctis wanted a prompt explanation for. Another thing that's none of your business. Jae thought, collecting herself. She had lost her head the entire time, sliding into her ideal image of what a shinobi should be. She was back and was instantly restarting the gears in her head. Her gaze and expressions lightened and she looked up at Noctis, sitting up now fully, hands at her sides as she leaned on them somewhat. "Exactly what it looked like. Your win." Jae said, laughing nervously at the end to add to her charade. Fire Jutsu, fire in general, was Jae's biggest weakness and it was a fear she could not overcome easily. This had been the main reason she had wanted to escape from Konoha, to train in order to overcome it. She only sparred with Noctis in order to test out what she had learned, not expecting him to pull that. Looking at it now, as she replayed the situation in her mind, a simple Suiton Jutsu could have easily aided her. It was originally a Fuuton he used, not like it was an actual Katon skill he had pulled. "Who knew you had that in you Sunbae. Good job." She said, bluffing and exaggerating the situation. She had not been beaten on account of not having the skills to stand toe to toe with him. It was that simple weakness that had allowed him to dupe her.
