Shan nodded. "Yeah, I'm feeling a little better," he said. "Or maybe I just don't feel sick anymore. I don't know."

Feeling a little uneasy, Shan looked away from the master. He just couldn't look at the man's face for such a long time. It was probably just a habit or something, since he was in this house for a while.

"I see. Well just rest up." Kanda stated as he went up to his dresser and got his blindfold then went up to the door. He turned around then added: I'm going to the dojo to train." He then turned back and left the room and headed for the dojo.

Shan lied back down on the bed, now staring at the door. He felt extremely lonely for some reason. It must have been the effect of that confession. Something had made him long to always be by the master's side.

Of course, the feeling was only stronger than before, and he could feel the sickness returning. What was wrong with him? Just because there was a chance that the master liked him didn't mean that it was guaranteed.

Kanda walked into his dojo and sighed as he looked around. He then took down Mugen and stood in the middle of the room. He blindfolded himself and stood still as he found his center. "Lets go..Mugen." He said softly to the sword as he slowly unsheathed it.

After an hour of training, he unblindfolded himself as as wipd the sweat from his brow. He pleaced Mugen back itno his sheath then headed back itnp the house to his room. He opened the door then immediately went to his closet and picked out clothes for himself. He then remembered Shan was in there and looked at him. "I'm back.."

After a whole, torturous hour in the room, Shan's eyes brightened when he saw the master return. He said nothing, but there wasn't really anything to say. He was just glad that the strange feeling was gone, because it had been making him endure a kind of agony while the master was away.

"Oi where you sleeping?" Kanda asked as he looked at Shan as he looked at him. He picked out a shirt and some pants then walked up to the bathroom door. "I'll be back in a minute." He said then closed the doorbehind him.

He then started to take his shower. It felt great to feel the hot water against his skin, the feel of it getting rid of his of strain. When he was done, Kanda slid out of the shower then wrapped a towel around himself. He dried off then got dressed and walked out of the bathroom.

While the master had been in the bathroom, Shan was staring at the ceiling. The patterns seemed to shift into a kind of story, one that was very similar to a book he read. Was it that book about the slave? Probably.

For some reason, he was very afraid. Of what? Messing up in front of the master? Shan sighed. Maybe has really changed then. In some way, he would always be afraid of and madly in love with the master, who probably just loves him as a brother or something.

"Oi...Oi..Shrimp!" Kanda said as he started to tap the boy's head, trying to get his attention. "You with me now?" He asked as he looked up at him and tilted his head.

He sat down on the bed then stretched as he held the ribbon out to Shan. "Anyway, could you put my hair up?" He asked as he turned then closed his eyes and waited for Shan to do it not givving him a chance to say no.

Shan snapped out of his thoughts when he felt a tap to his head, and a moment later the master requested for his hair to be tied. Immediately, he took the ribbon that was held out to him and began to do as requested. It wasn't like he had anything else to do, and it wouldn't be right to just stay in bed all day.

Kanda sighed faintly as he kept his eyes closed and let Shan go do as he was told. When he was done, he looked up at the boy and tried to smile but it didn't work well...so he just kept his neutral face. "Thanks.." He said softly, almost in an inaudible tone.

Shan paid no mind to the master's neutral face. Though it looked like there was no thanks to be given, he was sure that the master appreciated his effort. Since he wasn't used to smiling, it was best that Shan didn't jump to conclusions.

"You're welcome," he said, smiling. He was just glad to be of help to the man, and didn't exactly need the thanks. Despite that thought, though, he very much appreciated it.

KAnda nodded then stretched out his shoulder blades, earning a nice crack in one of them and sighed as his muscles relaxed. "Are..you hungry?" HE asked as he got up, feeling his stomach do little growls in prtest. It was time for lunch anyway, so they may as well get something to eat now.

Shan nodded, though he didn't exactly feel hungry at all. Maybe he's just used to hunger and thus it didn't feel much like hunger anymore. That was only a thought, though.

According to the master's question, it must be near noon, which meant it's also near lunch time. It was strange how time flew so fast. Just a few hours passed right under his nose.

Kanda nodded as he got up. He held out his hand and looked at Shan. "Lets go then..Shan.." He said softly as he looked away, a light blush littering his face in embarrassment.

Shan lit up and he accepted the hand, standing up immediately. Though for a moment he was worried about any fellow slaves seeing them, the fears were chased away. He could only focus on what's happening right now.

From the shadows, Nezushi watched with a satisfied face. However, there was a feeling of envy in his heart, but he shrugged it off. It was probably only because, since he was Shan's friend, he was afraid that the boy would think less about him and more about Kanda. It was normal for those in love, or so he thought.
