"Woah..." Shinji said as he heard his words echo a bit. "This place is huge.."  

[Zylver_the_Dragon]

"I.... Think this is a really ancient place... I remember... places like this in the mountains..... but not so low in the valley.... maybe... maybe it was an underground connection that went from the mountains to somewhere else.... and now the ground over it eroded and diminished,.... and created the overture from which we come..."

Shinji nodded as he went down the stairs slowly. "Its awesome.. and huge.."  

[Zylver_the_Dragon]

The air was thicker here, and earthy tasting.
the ground was stone paved here, and a thick dust carpeting covered all.
Zylver looked to the wall and looked closely to it. He let go of Shinji's hand and then reached upwards to the wall.
He could feel something made of dark metal stacked to the wall and he pulled it out. He knew what this was.... a torch. And touching close he found what he was looking for, a hollow on the wal that went horizontally all the length.
Zylver smiled. luckily, if the thick oils were still there.... they would have light.

Shinji flet Zylver let go and turned around as he watched him. "What you got there Zylver?" He asked as he looked at the torch.  

[Zylver_the_Dragon]

"We have... light...." Zylver smiled, a mischievous grin in his face, and holding the torch he calmed himself down, looked at it and neared his hand to the tip of it. a thin blu-white crisping light went from Zylver's hand to the tip of the torch, and then there was fire in it.
Then, he held the torch up to the hollow part of the wall and waited patiently, hoping the oil to remain there. And ther was.
A flame ran all along the wall. the corridor was now alit.

Shinji watched this with wide eyes; awe and surprise littering his face. "Wow!" That was so cool!"  

[Zylver_the_Dragon]

"Stone oil is really flammable.... although much much and more years pass"
Now Shinji could turn off the flashlight and save the batteries.
"This is how we light rooms my time..."

Shinji turned off his flashlight as he looked at Zylver with a still awe look on his features. "That is really creative." He stated as he smiled like a cute little kid.

"but needs good air chanel... or could suffocate people...."
Zylver walked back to where Shinji was and lead the way walking again.
"lots of spinderwebbss... lot of time... empty...."

Shinji nodded as he looked around the place as the walked.

They arrived at a large and vaulted room. It was only half lit because the lighting device and half of the room seemed to have collapsed really long ago.
The room was pure chaos. all in it was broken and spilled around, but not due to aging.. well, some things yes... but mainly because severe violence.
There were covers of books which contents were now dustchairs and tables broken, glass lamps shattered...

"What happened here?" Shinji asked as he looked around the room with a frown and sadness on his face.

"can be many things... lot time passed....maybe earth trembled.... that can make that wall collapse like this... maybe severe fight.... maybe war... but not much still one piece.... and books lost forever.... too long time for they"
Zylver said as he bent down to examine a bookf on the ground that desintegrated to pieces and dust at the touch.
