Mesh best friend, while she was in cali. told me about this band and she was like "OMG YOU NEEEED TO LISTEN TO THESE GUYS!!!!111one!!1"
She came to my house and MADE me listen to them. I first heard Helena, and I didn't like it at first... but then it grew on me...
And now, I'm a big fan... not a teenie anymore!

I didn't really have any music opinion about a year ago, but then my friends said about My Chemical Romance and I got into them and now I love them.

about 6 months before I got into My Chemical Romance my brother showed me the video for "I'm not Okay (I promise)" I found the bit where Frankie goes 'you have something in your eye' hilarious.
Then my friend Cammy found me in a really depressed state and forced me to listen to 'Headfirst to Halos' I instantly perked up and fell in love with the song.
She gave me her albums to borrow and I got hooked with them,
the music ended up saving me from mutilating my body. So now MCR are my heroes.

The first time I heard them was when I was just flipping through the channels on my tv. and I came along the fuse channel. At that time they were showing powerfuse which played lots of music videos from 10 in the morning to about 2 in the afternoon. If I'm correct I was watching the "Vampires Will Never Hurt You" music video. So from there I just checked them out and they aren't so bad because I now obviously love there music 'til this very day.

sister watched the helena music video but our tv got messed up, so there was n sound, and I didn't like it... Then I watched it on the internet and loved it

On November 29th, 2004 Much Music said a little something about a band called My Chemical Romance. I searched them on the web and fell in love.

I saw them first when I saw the Helena video and I thought they were cool. A while later I watched a Devil May Cry AMV that had Cemetery Drive and I got more into them. A bit after that I was watching FUSE and saw Making of Ghost of You and I just really got into them.

I heard 'Early Sunsets Over Monroeville' Thanks to Bearshare, and I thought it was amazing that someone could make a song about Zombies that actually sounded heartfelt and emotional. I looked up some other songs, like Cubicles and Vampires, and I was addicted from then on. Luckily, I have enough in common with Gerard to feel as though there's a significance in discovering the band. Their songs project a lot of what I have gone through, and I know it's like that for a lot of people, and that's what makes My Chemical Romance so...I dunno, special to me.

i saw there video for Im No Okay and i like totally fell in love with the band and I thought the lead singer was hott!!!

I first heard them waaaaay back in '03 on the local radio station WSOU out of Seton Hall University (I forget what song they played. It might've been "Headfirst For Halos"). I didn't know who they were, but I thought they were damn catchy. But, since I didn't know their name, I couldn't look them up on the internet.
A couple years later, I heard about them on MTV. I recognized their sound and I was like, "OMG! I've heard My Chemical Romance before!" But it wasn't until about a year after Three Cheers was released that I really got into them, cos of one of my best friends who's an 'Rmy girl.

My friends were talking about My Chemical Romance.
And I was like, "What are you guys talking about?"
The name interested me.
So I borrowed a cd from my friend; LOVED IT! heart
And went to hot topic to buy their cd!!! 4laugh

a friend of mine got me into the band, thank god he did hey, i love my chem!! first song i heard was 'I'm Not Ok (I Promise)' and it all went from there now i can't get enough
