Yuujinchou listened to his Sacrifice's story, feeling a shared sadness for the loss of one's parents. But he had heard the anger in Azreal's voice at the mention of his father... either their relationship had been strained... or it had been the man's fault in the accident. Whatever the reason, Jin obviously wasn't ready to go prying into someone's past. Especially given how much he disliked others prying into his own. Standing from the bench, the young man walked forward a few steps until he was safely away from Azreal. He turned, smiling, before drawing the sword from within the folds of his robe. "I carry this... not for decoration... but, well... I guess showing you would be best, wouldn't it?" he asked. For a moment, the man seemed to be messing with the handle of the sword itself. Then, almost too quickly for the eye to follow, Yuujinchou slipped small loops of nearly translucent thread around his fingers. The next second, the sword was flying outward from it's sheath, weaving in the air in a deadly dance... manipulated by the man's fingers. Jin turned his hands, sending the sword flying around his body. Each step was perfectly in sync with the next, each movement of his arms and fingers, an expertly initiated attack at an invisibly opponent. He spun, his robes a blur of color and motion, hiding the chameleon-like threads that spun around him and held the dancing blade aloft. If Azreal looked closely, Yuujinchou's blue eyes were almost closed, mere slits that reflected a dark gaze, one that was no longer brilliantly blue... but cold and hard... shadowed. Long black hair swirled around his face, soon hiding his eyes completely as he spun and used his blade like a deadly whip. After a few moments, the young man stopped, pulling his left arm back and bending the elbow of his right sharply, sending the sword spinning forward toward his own chest. But one quick sidestep had Yuujinchou grasping the hilt of the weapon, and in a final fluid movement, he sheathed the sword, the threads seeming to disappear. His slitted gaze turned onto Azreal, an obvious cold and calculating look in that gaze. When his robes and hair finally settled around him, Yuujinchou opened his eyes fully, their bright blue warm gaze returning. "Like I said... I can fight, but I doubt this style of fighting is really what you're meaning when you say a sacrifice and a fighter. Though..." he smiled warmly, "I'm more than happy to learn just what this new means is. Especially to protect you, even more to protect you when Rauko isn't around." The young man moved to return to his seat beside Azreal, but stopped cold at one simple comment. "Though he can be a real pain at times, he still is my brother. Unlike yours, I take it." For a long stretched and awkward moment, Yuujinchou stood there silent. "I..." Lithe pale hands emerged from the sleeves of his robes, reaching up and clutching at the fabric on his arms, almost as if he were hugging himself. But from the white knuckled grip he had, he wasn't comforting himself. No... Yuujinchou was trying to keep his anger and rage... and his fear... in check. "I was betrayed by my brother." he spoke softly, his shy voice calm. "He betrayed me.... and disappeared into the night. I... I don't know where he is anymore. That was a year ago."
(((OOC: Irasshai Kashira! Just a thought but this school's technically a Japanese school so... it would be certainly within reason for them to have a Karate Club or Judo Club after school. Granted it's not an elective, but since HS students are encouraged to join a club in sync with their hobbies or normal activities... However... *high fives* Yay! Now Rauko has someone to be uber protective of!)))

--Relentless-- "Relentless to survive, Relentless to protect -- Relentless in life." Azreal watched the other stand, looking around the place as he started to speak. Good, no one around. Leaning back into the bench, which he found that he was leaning forward slightly with his story. As a child he had curled up when remembering that day, protecting himself. As he grew, he learned that he could still duck and protect, just in a more adult fashion.
As he watched the other pull out the sword, he allowed his own eyes to darken. His eyes seemed not to move, his head staying still as he watched what was going on. He watched everything, from the single strand of hair to the flashing sword. Little did this one know, but this was the step right before using his abilities to harm the other team. A perfect way if they were Silenced. Just a slight more teaching, and this one would be ready to defeat an opponent without words. He was glad to have his Fighter, and his skills.
There was something behind that training, that soft and collected face. Something darker, nearly reflecting Azreal's own dark eyes. It was a good feeling, knowing that his Fighter was Fearless. Without that, without being who he was, Azreal knew this Fighter, his Fighter, wouldn't be like this. As the show was concluded, Azreal blinked once, then twice before his eyes returned to normal.
"Yes. You can fight. To say that I am not surprised would be a lie. I had not expected such.. Control from you. You have me amazed, Jin. Your training will not be hard, especially if you can control such a weapon like how you can. The spell battle is just one more step above this." They were both cold and calculating in a fight, but to what extent was unclear right now. Tomorrow would prove that. Tomorrow he will see exactly what his Fighter has up his sleeves. "I am glad that you are my Fighter, not my enemy. You have a special skill, just like my brother." Between the two, Azreal did not know who would win. Outside of a fight, Jin was stronger clearly with his sword. Inside of a fight, Rauko had his spells. Once honed, Jin could possibly stand evenly with Rauko, which would be a first.
When he seen his Fighter's next face, he instantly regretted what he had said. He just had to hurt his Fighter. When he looked into those eyes, his body responded. His muscles relaxed completely, his eyes turning back into the calculating state minus the cold touch, and his hands where folded together nicely. He was expecting anything, and his eyes were watching everything. "Forgive me. I had no intentions of striking such a bad memory. But you aren't the only one who was.. Betrayed. My father committed three sins that ended him dead when I was seven." Jin. His was much fresher than the brothers, it must still hurt him knowing that his only brother and family had committed such a sin. A sigh escaped Azreal's lips before he looked down at his covered name. "Can the past determine who one is, or does one change who they are depending on their life?" It wasn't a question to anyone, but a question that Azreal had been searching for ever since he knew what he was.
{Yes. They would be Clubs, not classes, but they are still present. Especially in Japanese schools. I know! -dances- I am so happy for him. Now he is going to be struggling! And such a perfect time to. He will find out exactly who his Sacrifice is during the fight, and find it uber hard to deal with three Sacrifices, even though two aren't his. XD No, wrong one: twisted . MUAH!}

It was an unexpected reaction. In truth, Yuujinchou would have normally run. He would have turned and fled, refusing to even answer any questions regarding his family. Much less his brother... But Azreal was different... and yet he was the same... Instead, the young man smiled softly and shook his head, "My wounds are still fresh it seems..." he spoke, obviously forcing control and calm into his voice. "I... I'm sorry that you and Rauko have experienced a betrayal like mine. I wouldn't want that on anyone..." sighing softly, Yuujinchou's blue eyes turned warm again and he walked back to the bench. But he didn't sit down. Instead, he stood in front of Azreal, looking down at his Sacrifice. With a fluid grace, Yuujinchou pulled his sleeve up and unwound the bandage covering his arm. Fearless "I suppose this name is a lie for me... I am afraid." he locked his gaze with Azreal's. "But I don't fear dying nor fighting. I don't fear doing what I think is right... or protecting those I've sworn to protect. For you, I am Fearless. A person changes, Azreal." Jin smiled softly. "Their past shapes them, but doesn't determine who they'll be. If that were true, I probably would still be looking for my brother now. Instead... I tried to let go of that part of my life and continue on... Fearless... as the name says."

--Relentless-- "Relentless to survive, Relentless to protect -- Relentless in life." "Nor do we, nor do we." Azreal stated, calming himself once more. Even with his own Fighter, he was on the defensive! He knew it would take time, but he was still surprised that he had turned defensive that quick. Then again, he did just see what his Fighter was capable of outside of a spellfight.
Watching his Fighter come closer, he smiled warmly. Azreal wasn't afraid, nor could he be of this one. Jin was his soul partner, even if the Sacrifice didn't truly believe it would happen to him. They were each other's other half, yet a half of themselves were already lost. They made a complete person together, exactly what a team should, but not at the level that they were. Azreal had seen many teams formed, and only one other had the kind of life that these two had. Yet, Fearless was special, stronger than the others even at the get-go.
"We are all afraid. What I have seen in the past, within this school even, is that the names are like another half. During a spell fight, those names state exactly who we are, but in real life.. They are just signs to what we are." It was Azreal's belief, that the name marks who one is, stating who's one half is outside of a fight, and who one truly is within the fight. "If that is true, then I would still be afraid of everyone. I would still be the frightened child that I was so many years ago. For the longest time, I tried to be Fearless, like the name says. Only recently did I become Fearless, five years ago, actually." That was the two factors that were forever battling each other when Azreal thought about it.
Pride. There was pride building with Azreal as he looked over his Fighter, his other half. He was glad that he had waited this long, that he was able to wait for most of his life before he found his true Fighter. It made the wait worth it. His Fighter was special, one of the few minds that Azreal could enjoy. His brother and the other team that taught at the school were also ones he enjoyed. There was one part of the pride. The other was that this Fighter could easily hold his own in life, was as strong as he was, and willing to become everything Azreal needed. Rauko was bound to find his other half, and Azreal knew he would be split between protecting two Sacrifices. Once Rauko trusts Jin completely, Rauko would be able to lessen his own protection of his brother and focus more on his own partner. It would be then that Azreal would truly need Jin with him, especially if their enemies come.

Jin smiled softly once more, winding the bandage back around his arm before pulling his long sleeve down again. "I think... we have a lot to learn about each other." he spoke before laughing softly... Softly, but shyly. He looked away from Azreal for a moment, "Tomorrow..." Yuujinchou began speaking again. "I'll come to your school and speak with the administrator. I'll make sure to come early, so that I can talk to him before your class. If that's alright." It was late, already far past midnight and, if Jin's glance at the moon was any indication, it was probably around 2:30... 3:00 am. He didn't want to part from Azreal. Not after finally realizing that this person, his sacrifice... was so important to him. Jin was tired, his eyes were starting to hurt and his head was beginning to pound. Looking back to Azreal, he forced a smile. "It's late. You'll need your rest if you're going to be teaching in the morning, won't you?" Every word was like driving a nail into his head. He had felt this pressure before...

--Relentless-- "Relentless to survive, Relentless to protect -- Relentless in life." "Yes, we do have a lot to learn about each other." Jin's laughter, though shy, was like music to Azreal's ears. "If you can make it, come at seven thirty, at the earliest. Its when all of the teachers are there and when the administrative office is all there. School starts around eight thirty, or that's when teachers are required to be in their classes. So we will have enough time if you come later than that." Azreal and Rauko were always the first teachers there, having a lot of prep work to do. Especially tomorrow.
It was past midnight, at least two am. Though Azreal needed sleep, he didn't want to part. Especially when his name was starting to freeze yet burn at the same time. It was a team. Standing as if he was going to leave, Azreal looked towards Jin. "We have two options. I am sure you know what is about to happen. A team is close, and you should be feeling the call of the other Fighter, like I am feeling the presence of the Sacrifice. We can either run, leaving now and heading in a different direction. The other option, challenge them before they challenge us. It will be your first spellfight, and it will not be under controlled situations as it will be tomorrow. It is up to you." Azreal stated, knowing that he will have to teach his fighter a lot in such a small period of time.
It would be the first challenge that Jin would face, and though the team felt weak, it could easily be a lie. Looking over Jin, he prayed that his fighter will wait. It would be better tomorrow, yet he felt the pull to fight. He wanted, no needed, to see what his Fighter was able to do, what to teach him tomorrow, yet he wanted his fighter to fight an opponent who would not go all out on him. Running a hand through his hair, he looked towards the direction where the team was coming from.

"And if they follow?" Jin asked, looking to Azreal. "If we feel them... they're bound to feel us." He sighed, trying to think of some way to avoid a fight and get out of the vicinity altogether. It was too late to retreat and try to lose them on the streets amid the bars... said bars would be getting ready to close, after all. Yuujinchou felt compelled to fight, moreso than he had ever felt before... but he also sensed an overwhelming need to protect Azreal. He reached one hand out, gently putting it on his sacrifice's shoulder. Physical contact... Something he had avoided for so long until now. "I want to protect you, Azreal. I don't know how to fight with spells... but perhaps my sword will be helpful. If we run now, we have no guarantee that they won't chase us down."

--Relentless-- "Relentless to survive, Relentless to protect -- Relentless in life." And if they follow? True. Both teams felt the pull of the other, thus making escape very hard unless you knew how to avoid one. Only twice in his entire life was he able to avoid one, and that was when the other team was on the other side of the town, not within the same park. "They already have. They too are debating about fighting us. Their connection is very strong and they can tell how ours is new. They must be debating.." Certain people, once they honed their abilities to the max, could feel the exact location of the other team and to see the strength behind them. Azreal and Rauko, along with the other team in the school, were that strong.
Feeling the touch on his shoulder, he nodded. "I want, no need, you to listen to what I am saying. I would have prepared you more tomorrow, but since the first is near inevitable right now.. Okay. When they come into sight, you will feel the pressure intensify. Do not bow to it. They will initialize the fight with one simple command, 'I declare this a battle of Spells.' You have two choices, to Accept or to Decline. Declining a spell will have its own troubles to it." Azreal was leaving that part out, knowing that they were going to fight and not wanting to tell the side affect of it. Pain for the Sacrifice.
"There are two options that follow, saying the true words that start the fight: 'Sentouki system, activate,' which we respond with 'Sentouki system, on,' or challenging us in another way, which is up to them. Up to the teams, we will either start the fight without knowing the other team or state our Names. After that, it becomes challenging. You will be speaking in riddles and rhymes, both countering and attacking." Azreal didn't want to give too much information out now, knowing that it would confuse his Fighter more so than he would already be. He also did not want to scare his Fighter. Sacrifices on both sides would feel pain for their Fighters, and it would be up to the Fighters to continue on despite the pain their other half would feel.
Azreal let out a sigh before he looked towards the location of the other team. "Many say that the Sacrifice control's the actions of the Fighter. Many say that they work as a team, both giving ideas. Few state that the Fighter will fight on his own. I am one of those who say that we share ideas. However, since this is your first fight.. Will it be alright if I guide you through this, taking the first option?" It would be the first time that he would change his style. Only because it wasn't under a controlled situation and the other team would, more than likely, attack to kill.

"Control me." Yuujinchou whispered, his blue eyes focused on a forested path at the edge of the park. The wind was picking up, and to make matters worse, thunder could be heard rumbling in the distance. Lightning flashed over the park, leaves swirling in the wind. Jin's robes fluttered around him violently as a gust slammed into the duo. "I would fight with my sword... but they may not give us the option." he spoke, looking to his Sacrifice now. "If you guide me... I'll protect you, Azreal. I won't let you down. Yakusoku..." 'Riddles and rhymes, huh?' he thought to himself, thinking over things for a long moment. "If I say something like..." Jin paused. "Wind... the wind whips around us, scattering leaves on the breeze, shielding us from sight... from touch..." he spared a glance toward the trees. "Would that be a spell?" They were losing precious time now... Yuujinchou's head was throbbing in agony, his name beginning to burn. The other team was close...

--Relentless-- "Relentless to survive, Relentless to protect -- Relentless in life." Azreal, though knowing it was the best and smartest way, was struggling within himself. His Fighter was giving him the permission he needed to help out with this fight, but he was afraid of what might happen. No. Not Afraid. Closing his eyes before opening them, he allowed a smirk. His brother had him create one side so many years ago that helped him many times. His darker side. One that would be able to do what was required here and not fail.
"I know you won't. Just follow my directions and we will come out of this perfectly fine." Azreal stated as he watched the trees. He was starting to feel the pressure increase. The Sacrifice's presence wasn't strong to the other, for it was the Fighters who fought. Glancing at Jin, he smiled. He was staying strong despite how close they were. They must have run, expecting this team to run as well, for they were close. Very close.
"You need confidence. Believe in what you are saying and force it to come true. 'Wind, wrap around us. Shield us from sight and touch, with the leaves that blow in your clutch,' might work better. Imagine it if you need to, but yes it was close to a spell." Azreal explained, allowing his mind to empty and prepare for the fight.
There! Resting a hand on Jin's shoulder, he watched as the two stepped out of the woods. The touch, though it might not have been necessary, was the closest thing he could come up with for showing their connection. That they were a team and not just friends. His eyes locked with the Sacrifice, allowing his eyes to turn dark and calculating, his lips curling up in a devious smirk. "Do not worry about me. Focus on the task at hand, and to not lose your concentration." His lips barely moved, yet his voice was stronger than it had before. Confidence and strength was reflected in it, passing it to his partner not only through their small connection but through his touch and voice.

He heard every word. Felt every word would have been a more adequate interpretation however. Azreal's voice flowed over him, calming his anxiety over the coming battle. "I trust you." Yuujinchou whispered, his voice so soft that it could have almost been a trick of the wind. He stepped in front of his Sacrifice, shielding him partly from the duo's view. Jin made sure to not rest his hand on the hilt of his sword. If they needed that... it would come as a surprise. "Well... isn't this a treat." a woman spoke, by her position... she seemed to be the Sacrifice. "Training your puppy?" Blue eyes narrowed, turning dark at the threat of this team. The woman seemed to enjoy his reaction, and looked to her Fighter. "Let's play with them... onegai? The Sacrifice seems to be confident..." she smirked, her eyes narrowing as she sized them up. "But the Fighter... he's so new... untrained..." the girl looked at her Fighter with an excited smile. "I want to see their blood... though the puppy might be prettier... covered in crimson..."
(((I'm not sure who yo want this team to be, since the only NPC I saw was Maki and Sailo and I don't think they'd be out to kill Azreal... so my Sacrifice chick has no name atm.)))

--Relentless-- "Relentless to survive, Relentless to protect -- Relentless in life." Trust was something that Azreal needed right now. It was something that made the teams stronger, and Jin needed to have full trust in Azreal during this fight. When his Fighter moved, Azreal was glad. He was taking the first small steps in order to protect. It was truly ironic. Jin was prepared to protect, yet it was the Sacrifice's job to protect their Fighters while they fought. It was who they were, trained to fight and to keep as much harm away from their Sacrifices as they could with the spells. Fighter's weren't trained to deal with pain like the Sacrifices were, yet they were there to protect. It was something that was so ironic within this world.
"Don't let their words get to you. It is how one makes mistakes." Azreal stated, his lips again not moving. It was the best way to instruct his Fighter without giving away what he was doing. This team would be a nuisance, he could tell that already. Removing his hand from his Fighter's shoulder, he rested it against Jin's hip. Though it might have been contact that wasn't needed or wanted, it was a better location when they started to fight, and it would also allow Azreal to keep his confidence and strength washing over the other. It was the best connection they had now.
"Teaching it how to kill already? How about teaching it some rules first? Like, how to act around his Master!" The words were sharp, dangerous, and aiming to piss this team off, especially the new Fighter. The Sacrifice was way to confident. "My dear, lets teach them a lesson while we play with them. The Sacrifice is way to confident for my tastes."
Looking over her Sacrifice, she placed a kiss on her forehead. "You are speaking my language. He might just look better in blood, fear gripping them both." The Fighter stated as she turned her head towards the pair, touching the one of the two swords on her person. "I do hope that you have taught your puppy some manors when it comes to this world. It will be such a shame if he doesn't treat us nicely. We are females, so delicate to the touch." She was playing, teasing even.
"I declare this a battle of spells!" The teasing was gone, and the face was as hard as steel as she wrapped her arm around her Sacrifice's waist, pulling her closer.

~~Saito Komomura*ENDLESS*~~ Saito had trouble walking down the hall. It seemed as if everything was blurry. His head pounded in pain. He had almost lost his footing when Fuki grabbed him before he was about to fall. The stitches to his head didn't hurt much..but if he did excess walking then it felt like his head would burst. He smiled his thank's to her as the two reached the cafeteria.
"I think I want some French Fries. I'm sure Verikai would want something plain like coffe or something.." He laughed, trying to make small converstation. He had a feeling he knew what Fuki wanted to talk to him about.
His suspiciouns were confirmed when the two reached the line for the snack bar. The girl let out a sigh as she said slowly, "Hey Saito, can you please tell me the truth? That wound its from no bike. Trust me when I say I've been here enough to tell the difference between them."
Yup. He was right. He knew that there would be some who'd didn't believe him when he said the cause for his injury...he just didn't think anyone would ask for the truth.
He wasn't ready to tell anyone just yet. He didn't want to tell anyone right now...it would turn everything into such a complication. He only felt comfortable talking to it about Verikai because Verikai was his fighter
Saito needed to choose his words wisely.
He leaned over to grab a bowl of french fries as he said," Nothing gets past you I see..." He grinned. "Something happened where I was banged up pretty badly by someone...." He paused. "Now, I would appreciate it if you would allow me not to say anything more on the subject. I'm not ready to talk about it yet Okay?" He smiled warmly to Fuki, to let her know that he didn't mind her asking questions since she was a friend, but he just couldn't tell her anything at the moment. Although he smiled, it was one of those smiles with an underlying tone that said, "Please drop the subject".
He leaned over the freezer section as he said, "Hmmm I want Ice cream. I wonder if Verikai like's Vanilla. What do you think?"(( eek I've missed alot))

As the two walked she noticed the pain that hurting Saito. "Sorry, for having you come with me. It must be killing you right now. The walk I mean." she said, keeping her voice soft not wanting to add to the pain in Saito's head. At the statement she grinned, "Not much." she said lightly. Fuki nodded eyeing the bandage, nodding her head slightly, chuckling as she talked more to herself, "Getting thrown against a wall DOES cause BIG headaches" she said giggling talking more to herself. "I get thrown against walls quite alot that it amazes Maki how I'm not in a comatose." she said.
At the question of ice cream she laughed, "I don't know. In all honesty Verikai is like the people in mangas who act all baddass but are big softies but still have zero sweeth thooths. Although it makes me wonder why he hates me." she said as grabbed a choclate oreo cookie icecream sanwhich an a vanilla chocolate chip cookie ice cream sanwhich paying for them as she looked at the clock. "Aya an I should be heading home very shortly she muttered as they walked back to the room tossing Aya the ice cream.
