*Somehow, he manages to get one knee up under him, and then the other. Now kneeling on the board, he maneuvers it from side to side, and back into the middle. He releases his grip for a moment and manages to keep his balance. Gripping the board again, he maneuvers one foot up onto the board. In one swift move, he releases his grip and stands up on the board, one foot forward and one foot behind. He turns his body and uses his arms for balance. He made it! He carefully uses his body to maneuver the board through the raging waters for a few moments. Psyzapp *She watches Officer Dougherty and is quite impressed he is able to actually maneuver in the water. There is no way she'd be able to get out there and surf. She grins and applauds for him. She glances over at TES.* Hey Quortek, maybe you should give that a try. *Nods her head toward the water.*
I think I'll pass stare I've got enough aching body parts as it is.
*as the bartender returns with his drink, he gives him a slight nod and takes a sip*

*When he looked over at Psyzapp, he had lost his balance. The board goes flipping out from under him and off to one side of the pool. He lands face first in the racing waters, which carried him down to the front of the pool.
Upon reaching the end, he stands up and shakes the water from his hair. He heads over to the side where he could exit the pool and climbs out. He grabs his board out of the pool and sets it back over with the other boards.
Dripping wet, he leans towards her and gives her a quick kiss on her cheek. He then grabs his towel and starts drying off.* Yeah, I think so. Well, I almost had it there! Should have stayed focused! Heh heh ... *A child-like grin appears on his face.*

As she approaches MW, she can hear the party still going on behind the bar. Not in the party mood anymore, she enters the bar through the front door and heads down to her quarters. Once inside her quarters, she undresses and slips into her bed, hugging a pillow close to her and crying for all the things she's lost. Once she's all cried out, she falls into a fitful sleep.

Yeah, between work, partying, dancing and an attempt at surfing, I'm pretty beat myself. *He grabs his sandals and sunglasses, then offers his arm to her.* Goodnight everyone!*He then proceeds to escort her over to their back door, where they go through the security scans. The dogs greet them and he lets them out in their run for a few minutes. While waiting on the dogs, he rubs his forearms a bit, being slightly sore from wiping out on the surf board. He lets the dogs back in, then locks up for the night.*
