Saturday morning I got up early, dressed quietly, made my lunch, grabbed the dog, slipped quietly into the garage to hook the boat up to the truck, and proceeded to back out into a torrential down pour.
The wind was blowing 50 mph. I pulled back into the garage, turned on the radio, and discovered that the weather would be bad throughout the day. I went back into the house, quietly undressed, and slipped back in to bed.
There I cuddled up to my wife's back, now with a different anticipation, and whispered, 'The weather out there is terrible.'
My loving wife of 20 yrs replied, 'Can you believe my stupid husband is out fishing in that s**t?'
I still don't know if she was joking.

humboldt redrum You know, I don't see anything wrong with filia nox's post, except the defeatism, which I can easily forgive, as I'm not a big fan of the "Everything for the Win" philosophy. rofl

What happened to typing FAIL? We can't expect people to get it if it's just on one page.
And it's funnier. ninja

I did that -headdoorknob- thing when I was 7. Now I have a scar on my forehead... They told me I got in the car crash that killed my parents... all I can remember is some weird green light... emo
