Maisie really wanted a win; this quidditch season had been depressing enough. Plus, if Ravenclaw could pull it off, at least Kiery would go out feeling like a good captain. Which, she was, Maisie just knew she'd been disappointed with the team's... lack of victories. Not that anyone blamed her. She started her stretches after adjusting her high ponytail.

Jonah could hardly believe they were up for the cup! The year had been grueling, but they had somehow managed to get here, and Jonah certainly wasn’t complaining.
He wasn’t religious like his sister, but in the excitement he found himself internally sending a small prayer for their victory as he did his stretches. It couldn’t hurt, right?

Tyler didn't mind it when he didn't have that much to do during games. However, considering how two games had gone this term, he hoped it wouldn't last all day. That had happened to every team but Slytherin so far, and hopefully it wouldn't be a repeat.

Bronwen stepped onto the pitch, already carrying her customary broom and box for the game, She looked over the teams assembled and nodded, thinking they were ready to start. Bronwen was curious to see which team would win the cup, and was excited that there seemed to be a big game that would determine it this term. "Today's game is between Gryffindor and Ravenclaw. Lions versus Eagles. I want a nice clean game between both teams. Let's get this party started!" She kicked open the box and mounted her broom, waiting for the snitch to vanish before grabbing up the quaffle. Flying upward, she tossed the ball up, starting the game officially.

When the quaffle went up, Jonah scanned the pitch for a bludger and his first target of the game. It looked like the Gryffindor seeker may have spotted something, and if that was the case, she was certainly Ravenclaw's biggest threat.
Jonah sped over to the nearest bludger and smacked it in Chelsea's direction.
