She bit her lip and sighed. She stepped out of his arms finally and started for the door.

"No matter what happens everything will be fine." He said, walking next to her.

"Right." She said and soon had to leave him at the door. It had started to get dark out. she glanced over her shoulder before speeding off to the shop.

He leaned against the door frame as he watched her leave, giving a little wave when she looked back at him. When she was out of sight he shut the door and headed inside, anxiously awaiting the outcome.

She nearly ran into her grandmother as she got back to the shop. They both smiled wide at the other. "I'll meet you up at the house Bubbee. I just want to change before dinner." She got a nod and headed up to her room. She changed into a dark green dress, complimenting the new necklace and soon rushed down to the house, passing Alex's slowly. Dinner went smoothly and once they got her grandfather to bed they were talking for hours.
She asked her grandmother about Alex's proposal. But the only response she could ever get was, 'We'll see dieťa.' So she dropped it for the night, and ended up sleeping on her grandparents only soft chair.

After she had left Alex cooked the rabbit he had prepared the day before and had that dinner, not messing up the meal as bad as normal this time. After eating he took a seat next to a window in the front of the house, keeping an eye out for Bernadette's return. When she didn't show up after some time he sighed and headed off to bed for the night.

Bernadette was roused by her grandfather that morning. She was a bit surprised, but happy to see he was getting back to his normal self. She ate a little something before leaving for the shop. She wasn't sure what she should tell Alex about her talk with her grandmother. She almost thought to go to his house but thought he might be sleeping.

Alex woke up a bit later than normal that morning and after making himself something to eat and getting dressed headed outside. He was curious as to how things had gone over with Bernadette and her grandparents last night but he wasn't sure if she would still be alone at the shop or not, not sure if her grandmother would have shown up yet. Thinking it over a minute he shrugged and headed in the direction of the shop.

All she really had to do to get ready for the day was brush out her hair. A smile come to her face as she ran a brush through it thinking of how Alex ran his fingers through her hair yesterday. She quickly pinned some of it back so it would stay out of her face and opened the shop.

Arriving at the shop he peaked in through a window for a second and after not seeing her grandmother walked inside, glad to see that the place was open. He walked up to the counter and looked for Bernadette, thinking she might be in the back room. "Hello?"

Bernadette ran out from the back and wrapped her arms around his neck. "Good morning." She kissed his cheek. she was happy to see him.

Alex chuckled softly and wrapped his arms around her with a smile. "Well hello to you to."

She smiled and rested her head on his shoulder as she hugged him.

"I take it you're really happy to see me." He teased, holding her close for a few moments as he kissed her forehead.

"Yes." she looked up at him. "Is that a bad thing?" She asked innocently.
