This was the only open area she could remember having trained in before, in her time and had instinctually come here. She was going to need a lot of space to practice her Ninjutsu. "Round two..."

[1/1] Preparing herself, Jae moved through the movements once before she actually applied her chakra. She wanted to be sure she didn't shoot herself in the wrong direction. Jae had always liked the idea of being bouyant and this was perfect to learn. Activating her chakra, she held out both of her hands and accumulated a strong medium of wind in her palms. She shot it outward, instantly causing her to be propelled backward, despite her practicing. Jae was laid flat on her back, the snow cushioning her fall somewhat. Stiffly, she sat up after she had regained her breath, cursing her clumsiness. At least she had learned something out of it.

[ Assassins Rush // Rank B // Completed ]

[1/2] Jae had heard of a technique before that allowed a person to create a sort of air pocket and use that in order to pull information out of people. She found that this could come in real handy one day so she might as well start learning it.

[2/2]Holding out both of her hands, palm up, she summoned a small translucent pocket of air in her hands. She focused her chakra into it, knowing that should she use it on someone she should be able to extract information from them. She was going to have to test this out on someone one of these days.

[1/1] Jae dropped her Kunai on the ground before her and took a seat, meaning to practice another Jutsu she had taken a fancy in. Hugging her knees close to her body she activated her chakra and watched as the the Kunai's drew in the wind around them. They were then coated with the Fuuton and began to twitch to life. Floating in the air, all six of the Kunai she had dropped on the ground began to spin in lazy circles, Jae concentrating on this before she flung them down at the ground around her. All six imbedded themselves into the snow at various points in a circle around her sitting spot.

[ My blades are ment to show beauty, not bloodshed ]

Zain stood outside the Dojo/Academy, taking a breath of the fresh air and smiling. He wanted to start his ninjustu, the style of elements which he had Fuuton and Suiton. Wonderful when combined to create ice.
-----
He slipped out the Fuuton scroll and studdied the only basic fuuton he wanted to learn, wind clone, clones were useful to learn and he was only able to make a normal clone so why not a fuuton clone? He stood straight and formed the handsigns; bit rusty n the handsigns but he got them down and created the clone, letting it disappear soon after. [ Kaze Bushin [ Wind Clone ] 310/315 chakra [ 1/1 ] posts [ E ] ranked ]
-----
He slid his swords out for the next technique, this one was for genin but could be useful for a Jounin. It utilized wind in a direction to slash at his opponent, if close enough he could injure them with cuts and bruises and it could maybe extend the reach of his double mini swords. [ Kamaitachi no Justu [ Slashing Wind Skill ] 300/315 chakra [1/3 ] posts [ D ] ranked ]

He had set up a dummy for the technique and others afterwards for it. He carefully focused his fuuton chakra toward his blades as a extension of the length the wave could go out of it. He also had to be careful of anyone else training which was why he trained outside and not inside for he trained in more dangerous stuff then needed for small places. [ 2/3 ]

Running forward; Zain slashed his blades outward as chakra exploded from them then he spun around and let it explode out of them again to hit the dummy; knocking it back. He landed infront of where the dummy was and stood up straight, going back to his spot after resetting up the dummy. [ 3/3 ]
-----
Another genin technique for Zain to learn, bit simple also but he was jounin so it was all easy up until B rank which then it started to look like a challenge. Rolling up the scroll, he set it back down and stood up to face the dummy.[ Suiyaku Kaze [ Propelling Winds ] 290/315 chakra [ 1/3 ] posts [ D ] ranked ]

It wasen't even taking a big control of his chakra either so he was happy because of that blessing from his sword style that aquired him to gain more chakra which is what he needed. Now he could do more training. [ 2/3 ]

Focusing his chakra gain, it seemed to get easier to utilize his chakra of fuuton so he could have more control. "That style really helped me with my elements now that I am learning them..." He held his blades backwards and spun quickly, the chakra going out into propelling winds around him as protection. [ 3/3 ]
-----
This next one would be a bit tricky but also extremely useful for going to cloud because him and the whats-his-name boy weren't use to low air pressure so these two techniques he was about to learn would be useful for kumo or suna or konoha. [ Teikiatsu no Justu [ Low Air Pressure Technique ] 270/315 [ 1/3 ] posts [ C ] ranked ]

He wouldn't use this one for Kumogakure though because they were use to low air pressure and it would be useless to waste chakra like that so he could use it here for now. Although there were people in the area he knew it would be safe to use it while less people were here. [ 2/3 ]

Forming handsigns he focused on his chakra again, the air pressure going down and making him slightly dizzy and sleepy since he was not use to it at all. He let the last seal go and fell back shaking his head. [ 3/3 ]
-----
Now Yuki was in a valley surrounded by mountains, it was use to high air pressure because of this but Kumogakure was not use to it. This would be excellent for their mission if they could not get in then why not put the guards asleep; get in and search specific areas then get out fast before they could get caught. [ Koukiatsu no Justu [ High Air Pressure Technique ] 250/315 [ 1/3 ] posts [ C ] ranked ]

It would be easy but also difficult because he would have to return the air pressure back to normal once they had gotten through so no one would suspect Yuki. It would be a good thing they would leave their headbands behind incase of being caught. [ 2/3 ]

Making the handsigns he focused again on his chakra to the air pressure, it got a it higher and he smiled since being in Yuki you were use to such things as high air pressure but not low. Letting the seal go he felt the air pressure go back to normal quickly. [ 3/3 ]
-----
Zain opened the suiton scroll, he only needed one technique whichw as the water clone. "Clones are essential to ninjas..." He mused to himself, he closed the scroll and stood up, he didn't need the dummy for this at all but he had yet to use his suiton chakra so it would be difficult. [ Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu [ Water Clone Technique ] 240/315 [ 1 / 3 ] posts [ D ] ranked ]

He sliced his hands together, forming one seal to focus on his suiton chakra. It took awhile to register he had suiton chakra and was a bit surprised by it's fluid feeling of easyness. "Ok, I have fuuton chakra, suiton chakra, Hakemoto chakra and plain normal chakra natures...Sweet!" He smiled big. [ 2/3 ]

Making the other handseals he took a calmed breath of control to focus. Slowly water came from the moist snowy air and started to form into a decent and good looking monk beside him. He smirked when it was completed and hit it once; it was good, hit it twice; still good. He hit it until it eventually splashed back into liquid form and turned into ice. [ 3/3 ]

[ / exit to hotsprings ]

Never ending amounts of snow poured down from the sky, blanketing the village. The village wasn't "Hidden in the Snow" for no reason. A boy with a thick black coat, and a fairly baggy pair of pants covered the boys legs. Though he hated wearing such heavy clothing, such clothing was a necessity living in an environment this cold. The boy had made his way across the village, heading to the villages massive training facility. The boy had recently just graduated from the ninja academy, and until he was placed into a team of shinobi, he would learn techniques to make himself better. Today, he would surely master the art of Saiketsu; or at least the few techniques he were capable of learning. He already had mastered the effects of Akaishi, or the Red Stone technique. Now he would learn how to make that technique much more useful.

Quote:
Akaishi - [ Red Stone ] 1/1 - Learned.

The door to the training facility was unlocked, as he expected it to be. The Ketsueki clan member entered the massive building. Up until this point, he hadn't the pleasure of entering this wonderful facility. Now that he was officially a Genin, he was granted full access. Closing the door behind him, a large smile came across his face. The place looked gorgeous. Kaito couldn't help but to admire how beautiful the insides of this building looked. He couldn't wait to get to work.

Quote:
Arei no Hari [ Array of Needles ] - 1/3

The genin wandered through the building, taking himself through a quick tour of the place. Obviously he hadn't the time he wanted to search the whole place, but surely enough for a quick run though. One thing that had caught his eye, was a lonely training room off to the right of the building. He decided a place that seemed to be abandoned would be a great training spot. The spot was perfect to him. Some seemed to think the art of using ones own blood was an odd style of fighting, so training in lonesome was normally best for the boy.

Quote:
Arei no Hari [ Array of Needles ] - 2/3

Several minutes later, he had made it to his room. The building was heated, so h decided now would be a good time to strip down to his normal shinobi clothing. His coat and long pants were simply tossed on the floor, and he was now stripped down to a tight, jet black sleeveless shirt, and a pair of shorts which had oddly large pockets on the sides. These which were used for throwing projectiles and other trinkets of that sort. The scroll he was learning these techniques from was already opened, and in his hands. The first technique seemed easy enough. It was practically the Red Stone technique, but condensed into small needles which were shot from his fingertips. Holding the the scroll in his left hand, he lifted his right arm to face a dummy. His fingers were flat, and aligned with the dummy's head. In his hand, he could feel things moving around, things that felt wrong. Things that only one capable of learning the art of Saiketsu could do. His hand felt strange for a brief moment, then over a dozen needles erupted from his fingers, striking the dummy with decent accuracy.

Quote:
Arei no Hari [ Array of Needles ] - 3/2 -Learned.

The needles stuck deep into the dummy. They shot all in different spots, ranging from between the eyes down to the bottom of the neck. This technique was a rather simple technique, but could be a deadly weapon in close quarters combat. Quick attacks like that were unexpected, and had a high chance of striking it's victim. These just needed to be used at the right place, and time.

Quote:
Shinku Wa [ Crimson Ring ] 1/2

After a quick fifteen minute examination the Crimson Ring technique, he was rather confident he would be able to knock this technique out in just his first try. Though it was another way to condense blood quickly, Kaito was rather smart when it came to learning things and working with things on the fly. Sitting his precious scroll on the ground, he decided to test his new technique on the same poor dummy as before. Blood in his hand began moving again just like before, and the boy twisted his body at the waist, reaching his arm far back behind him. All at once, he untwisted himself and whipped his arm forward as quickly as he possibly could, launching the razor sharp discus.

Quote:
Shinku Wa [ Crimson Ring ] 2/2 - Learned.

This 'Crimson Ring' lodged itself deep into the chest of the dummy. More than half the disk was hidden, stuck deep inside of it's target. The boy smiled, knowing that if that had been a real person, that would have been a kill. Though this would not be enough, and thus it was time to move on to his next technique. This technique, was a rather useful one to say the least.

Quote:
Ken no Rubi [ Blade of Ruby ] 1/2

The Ken no Rubi technique, what a great technique from Saiketsu. This was a technique that allowed the user to make a sword from ones own blood. It was fairly customizeable too, seeing how the blade was made however the user seemed fit. For this technique, he'd leave his scroll on the ground. Once again, his right arm was raised. Feeling things move around his hand again, a small katana blade slowly began to rise from his palm. The blade grew until it was three foot long, not including the handle. His hands felt like several needles were dug deep inside, and other than that pain the hand was numb.

Quote:
Ken no Rubi [ Blade of Ruby ] 2/2 - Learned

This was Kaito's first run in with dehydration. This was something he'd only heard about from other members of his clan, and finally got to experience it himself. It was a rather strange feeling to say the least. The Ketsueki clan member struck his sword into the ground, shaking his hand back and forth shortly. Obviously that wouldn't help until more blood entered his hand, but it was just the obvious movement for a person who's hand felt asleep.

Quote:
Aka Kouseki Keppei [ Red Crystal Clot ] 1/4

After a solid five minutes, the blood had returned. Luckily, his bloodline allowed his blood to regenerate much more quickly than a normal human being. The feeling oh dehydration was gone, his hand feeling normal again. A sigh of relief came from his mouth. The small pain was gone, which was good. yet sadly for this technique, he needed to cause more pain to himself.

Quote:
Aka Kouseki Keppei [ Red Crystal Clot ] 2/4

This technique was known as Aka Kouseki Keppei, or rather the Red Crystal Clot technique. This technique was made to crystallize open wounds to stop bleeding. Which was great for making one last longer in battle and not bleed out. Though, one needed a would to have a wound to learn how to use the technique, so as strange as it would be, the boy would need to cut himself and cause some bleeding.

Quote:
Aka Kouseki Keppei [ Red Crystal Clot ] - 3/4

The boy reached into his pocket, pulling out a kunai. The kunai sat in his right hand, and he placed the kunai against his outer forearm of his left arm. Gritting his teeth, he began dragging the kunai against his arm, making about a six inch cut. Blood began seeping from his arm, and then dripping to the floor. Focusing his chakra to that spot in his arm, the blood began to clotht he wound.

Quote:
Aka Kouseki Keppei [ Red Crystal Clot ] 4/4 - Learned.

The wound was soon fully crystallized, making a second skin almost. This was enough to stop the bleeding completely, and harden the wound so it couldn't be reopened. That was one of the more useful techniques in his arsenal, allowing him to outlast a bleeding opponent. In a way, he felt like a technique of that sort would be something that a medical ninja should know.

Quote:
Aka Harinezumi no Sujou [ Birth of Red Porcupine ] 1/4

Kaito soon walked over to his scroll, and began reading once again. This was the last technique he wanted to learn from his bloodline, than would move on to either Ninjutsu, or Taijutsu. He wasn't very sure yet, but he would make a decision sooner or later. This next technique was known as the Birth of Red Porcupine technique, which would be a great defense for Taijutsu.

Quote:
Aka Harinezumi no Sujou [ Birth of Red Porcupine ] 2/4

He imagined using that technique, while somebody tried to attack him with a physical technique. It would allow him to protect himself, while causing a good amount of damage. This was something new to him though. Forcing all of the blood in his body out at once, making large amounts of needles for protection. This could be an extremely useful technique in his arsenal.

Quote:
Aka Harinezumi no Sujou [ Birth of Red Porcupine ] 3/4

Once again, the boy laid his scroll of to the side, moving to the center of the room. He made sure he stood far away from everything, so he wouldn't damage anything. His arms sat at his side, and began to focus his chakra through his whole body. This time, he felt strange feelings throughout his own body, but he knew exactly what was about to happen. For a second he stood without movement, then seconds later his body exploded with needles.

Quote:
Aka Harinezumi no Sujou [ Birth of Red Porcupine ] 4/4 - Learned.

The cold climate of the Snow Village did not bother Shimiru much, she mused to herself. Although it was obviously cold, all she was wearing was a brown jacket and her regular training outfit consisting of black capris, a blue tank top, and standard blue ninja sandals. When she entered the academy and looked around, she noticed someone already by a training dummy and shifted her feet so she was walking away from the person and to the outdoor potion of the academy. She stepped outside and immediately spotted a good place for meditation. There was a tree lightly topped with snow that was right near a small, man-made pond. The girl sat down cross-legged between the tree and pond before closing her eyes and starting to concentrate.
Basic Chakra Training: Meditate x 2 [1/10]

Shimiru attempted to delve within herself and search for the thing that made every ninja a ninja, her chakra pool. At first it was faint, but she hung on to that feeling and mentally grasped it and tried to flare it somehow. At first it was very faint, but each time she tried, it felt as if the chakra itself was growing more and more. She focused all her concentration on the chakra and continued to try and properly focus on her chakra pool.
Basic Chakra Training: Meditate x 2 [2/10]

Not too long after she initially began the meditation, Shimiru had at last located her chakra pool centered in her abdomen and focused on that. She formed the tiger hand sign for enhanced chakra movement in her tenketsu and concentrated on the movement of the chakra. At the moment, it was smooth and moved throughout her body as fluidly as water would. She took note of that and tried to quicken the rate of speed of it travel.
Basic Chakra Training: Meditate x 2 [3/10]

Shimiru creased her eyebrows in concentration and mild frustration. The chakra was indeed responding, but the rate of response was a bit delayed, as if she had not yet completely mastered it. She didn't expect to master it completely yet, not how she was now, but she at least had to try gaining some semblance of control. The girl continued to focus on her chakra.
Basic Chakra Training: Meditate x 2 [4/10]

Bit by bit, the girl felt her chakra gradually begin to respond to her commands, however delayed the responses might be. Once she set her complete focus on it, the delays seemed to lessen until they were minuscule. She hadn't expected any different since she was still just a genin, and this improvement encouraged her to keep on going. She switched her focus on flaring her chakra, and found that it worked the same as trying to quicken its speed. If she integrated her method of speeding up the chakra to flaring it...she felt a strange twitch of her facial muscles and found that she was smiling, however small it might have been.
Basic Chakra Training: Meditate x 2 [5/10]

The Yuki clansman opened her eyes and stood up, finding that it was now the proper time to study how the creation of jutsu would effect the chakra and what she could do to improve it. She quickly went through three simple hand seals of the Clone Jutsu and noticed that the chakra was not properly channeling through the hand seals, at it should have been. She tried again and again, still with the same results. She stood confused for a moment, but then her eyes widened in realization and she quickly did the three hand seals again, this time with a single hand.
Basic Chakra Training: Meditate x 2 [6/10]

It had worked! In a small plume of smoke that she noted to work on later until it disappeared, an illusional clone of herself had appeared in front of her, entirely identical to herself in appearance. Shimiru swept a hand in front of her to check its solidity, and was satisfied when her hand passed right through its neck without it dissolving away or disappearing. She also took note that her chakra pool was slightly, almost not noticeably, drained. This also was not a surprise, since it required chakra to properly carry out a bunshin.
Basic Chakra Training: Meditate x 2 [7/10]

Having then dispelled the clone, Shimiru tried to see if it wasn't just a fluke or something wrong with the way she did the jutsu. She was aware of her clan's ability to do hand seals singlehandedly, but up until now hadn't experienced it herself. She did hand seals for the Substitution Technique with anticipation and set her sights on a small boulder near the pond. She focused on substituting with it but as expected, she found that she was more comfortable carrying out the jutsu with one hand. Once the jutsu was canceled, she tried once more with one hand. This time, she immediately had substituted with the boulder and also learned more about chakra along the way.
Basic Chakra Training: Meditate x 2 [8/10]

The girl sat down again in her original spot and focused on her chakra, which was now moving faster because of the jutsu that had been done. She breathed in deeply and let her breath out slowly, calming herself and slowing down the chakra. At first it wouldn't comply, but with more coaxing and calming breathes, it slowed down to its original speed. She then focused on expanding it from its pool and bringing it back. She slowly drew out flickers of it and channeled it to her tenketsu before slowing it down and bringing it back.
Basic Chakra Training: Meditate x 2 [9/10]

Shimiru sighed and once again repeated her actions from before to make sure that she had gotten down the correct way of handling the chakra, before she let out a deep breath and took off her jacket. To others this would be crazy, but to her, she took comfort in the cold. With her breathes coming out as visible vapor because of the cold air, she settled down her chakra and brought it back to its original source before going on to the next step of her training.
Basic Chakra Training: Meditate x 2 [10/10] +40 chakra

With her new knowledge of chakra control, Shimiru now wanted to apply it to her jutsu. After all, what was a shinobi without their techniques? She performed a series of hand seals with one hand and focused on bringing her chakra out again and channeling it through the hand seals. Not a moment later, the Henge Technique had turned her into what she had pictured in her mind, a random citizen she saw in on the street on her way to the Academy.
Basic Chakra Training: Performance x 2 [1/6]

Shimiru examined her reflection on the pond's surface before making some adjustments and nodding in satisfaction. She then examined the way her chakra worked in changing her appearance so completely, it was indeed amazing. Although it needed some improvements in various aspects, she took note of the way it was channeled and much was taken from her chakra pool. It was difficult at first to pinpoint the exact amount, but she tried nonetheless. She was sure that with practice, chakra control wouldn't be such a big deal. Shimiru canceled the Henge and watched her reflection as her appearance turned back to normal.
Basic Chakra Training: Performance x 2 [2/6]

Next up after she did a different set of hand seals, she once again focused on her chakra before releasing it, resulting in a clone of herself standing in front of her. This time the chakra was different than it was with the Henge. Some of her chakra was transferred to the clone, strangely enough. However, she knew that it was useless unless the clone could dodge hits and not be dispelled. She mentally made a note to work on speed later on.
Basic Chakra Training: Performance x 2 [3/6]

After she had finished analyzing the chakra, Shimiru cancelled the technique and dispelled the clone. This time, the smoke that came with the cancelation was smaller, something of which she was glad to notice. The girl took note of how her chakra reacted when a jutsu was cancelled and worked on making the flares of her chakra much more subtle, as subtle as they could possibly be. It wouldn't be ideal to go around with your chakra flaring in case there was an enemy sensor, after all.
Basic Chakra Training: Performance x 2 [4/6]

Now she started to notice that her control was gradually getting better. The improvement spurred her on to continue with the training, despite mental complaints. She performed the last of useful jutsu she knew, the Substitution Technique. Shimiru quickly shot through the hand seals and this time focused on the boulder near the pond without looking at it. She sensed the shift in air and was satisfied to find herself in the spot where the boulder had been. Her chakra was now rushing rapidly through her because of her having constantly drawn on it.
Basic Chakra Training: Performance x 2 [5/6]

Shimiru cancelled the jutsu, stretched, and yawned. She had stood still for quite some time, and knew that she should worknon something active next. She closed her eyes and focused on her rushing chakra and took deep breathes to calm herself down and slow it until it went at its regular speed. She picked up her jacket and tied it around her waist, all the while taking delight in the cold air and breeze.
Basic Chakra Training: Performance x 2 [6/6] +20 chakra

Now, there was one thing Shimiru wanted to take care of-get rid of-before advancing on to other various jutsu. She knew she had to learn sometime, and there was no use in delaying the inevitable. With a drawn out breath, the girl took out the hyouton scroll and unfurled it. Her gaze was scrutinizing-glaring- at the words written, but she did her best to not postpone the training yet again. The first time she did, she had chosen meditation instead. Shimiru carefully read before putting it back in her pocket and setting her sights on the pond near her. She peered to check what was inside, and noted that there were no fish or other such creatures. There were merely stones on the bottom, with a pump set up to continuously supply water for the mini-waterfall that supplied the freezing cold pond with water. She double-checked her scroll to make sure she had the right idea down before taking a deep breath and focusing her chakra.
Hyouton [Ice Release] [1/9]

Shimiru reached inside for the familiar feel of chakra and grasped it, drawing it out. This time however, she shifted the way she drew upon the chakra so it felt chilled slightly. Half of it was smooth and fluid, while the other half was light and swift. When she was satisfied with her results, the white-haired girl worked on the speed at which the chakra was focused upon and drawn out. Speed was key, and she could not forget that. Shimiru then tentatively drew those two different types of chakra together.
Hyouton [Ice Release] [2/9]

She narrowed her eyes. The scroll had made producing ice sound so simple, yet now it seemed like the most complicated thing she had ever attempted! But she was not caught by surprise, this was to be expected when it came to bloodline techniques. Shimiru patiently attempted to combine her elemental chakra together over and over, each time producing slightly better results than the last. The air was now considerably more chilly, if that was even possible. Perhaps it was because of her chakra? Shimiru shook her head and drew her attention back to her training. Combining chakra of different elements sounded quite simple, but it was definitely 'easier said than done'.
Hyouton [Ice Release] [3/9]

'Just a little more...' Finally, she had done it! Shimiru held on to the combined chakra, afraid that once she released it, it might not happen again. She quickly focused on the pond and sent chakra to it, but all that happen was the water rippling a bit. She closed her eyes and tried again, now newly-motivated by what had happened. She drew out her chakra and combined the two types, now being able to slightly distinguish between her normal chakra and the tell-tale chilliness of her ice chakra. Suddenly by some random thought, Shimiru had an idea and a realization. She could not freeze the entire pond, it was still beyond her capabilities, so she would settle for a small amount of water first. She walked to the water's edge and bent down, cupped her hands, and scooped out water, careful to squeeze her hands together so no stray water droplets would fall.
Hyouton [Ice Release] [4/9]

Next, Shimiru closed her eyes and drew on the water and wind chakra, combined them, and sent the ice chakra to her hands. She opened her eyes, which were shining with expectation, but slumped her shoulders when all that happened was the temperature of the water dropping suddenly, becoming frigid cold. Just a little more, and it would be enough to turn it to ice. Shimiru ignored the familiar numbness that creeped up on her hands because of the cold and continued to concentrate on the water and on her chakra. She knew that it was best to take a break and warm her hands, but then mentally berated herself. How else would she get used to the cold? She needed to endure it and accept it before getting used to it.
Hyouton [Ice Release] [5/9]

The girl continued to try and form the water into ice, but it simply would not work. She sighed in frustration and dropped the water back in the pond and flicked excess droplets from her hands. She stood there for a moment, hand on hip and with a thoughtful expression, before her eyes widened in realization. Of course, the hand sign! She had forgotten about the hand sign, and as a result her chakra wasn't channeling properly to the water. Shimiru sat down cross-legged right near the pond's edge, scooped up water in her left hand, and did half of the rooster hand seal with her right hand.
Hyouton [Ice Release] [6/9]

Almost immediately after she combined her chakra and focused on the water held in her hand, however slow that process might have went, the water in her hand slowly became colder and colder before it turned completely to ice. Shimiru stared at it, thinking, 'My ice, the first I've ever created.' She examined it, held it, and smashed it to the ground to see how durable it was. The ice crashed against a stone but did not break, not even crack. The girl felt a rush of joy and quickly stood up. With the newfound rush of confidence, she focused chakra to her hands and, with a single hand sign, focused on the air around her.
Hyouton [Ice Release] [7/9]

Shimiru focused on drawing the water molecules in the air around her extended right hand. It was harder than with a liquid body of water, but not by much, surprisingly. She gazed at her hand and applied the chakra to the air around her, making large droplets of water appear near her hand before freezing and becoming rough spheres of ice. Shimiru canceled the chakra and watched as the ice chunks dropped to the ground with a dull thud. She allowed a small smirk to grace her features before it immediately disappeared, replaced with a stony expression of concentration. She once again focused on the moisture around herself, this time with her arm at her side, not extended. Water gathered before turning into ice, and then dropped to the ground. Shimiru then finally switched her attention to the pond and narrowed her eyes. With a hand sign and full focus on the body of water, she sent chakra to it, this time in bursts instead of small streams, the pond completely froze over. Shimiru smiled, although it was a very small one, and repeated her action of freezing water molecules.
Hyouton [Ice Release] [8/9]

With chakra laced in the frigid air around her, water quickly assimilated and froze into chunks of ice. Shimiru continued to focus chakra to see just how far she could go, but stopped and canceled the chakra when the ice grew higher than tennis ball size. Chunks of ice now littered the ground around her, but it didn't bother her one bit. Shimiru continued to repeat the technique until she could carry it out at a respectable speed and with admirable precision. When she was finally satisfied, the girl plopped to the ground, panting. The exhaustion was slowly catching up to her, it seemed. But now, she wouldn't allow it to overwhelm her just yet. She unfurled the scroll and read over the next technique that was necessary to know before moving on the hyouton techniques.
Hyouton [Ice Release] [9/9] Complete

After memorizing the words and pocketing the scroll, Shimiru shifted her attention to the frozen pond and the ground around her, which was littered with small chunks of ice. She kept her left hand limp at her side, and held a single hand seal of the tiger with her right hand. She was now relying completely on her bloodline, and thus would need only a single catalyst, the hand seal. Without any more hesitation, Shimiru focused on the ice chunks on the ground and mentally nudged them. She watched as they shifted, but remained still. She pictured them coming together to form one single pillar of ice, but did not connect it to the ice just yet.
Hi Soujuu [Ice Manipulation] [Attribute] [1/4]

Before moving directly to ice manipulation, she first attempted to create a small ball of ice from the water molecules around her to make sure that she had gotten the ice release down correctly. The girl then allowed herself to picture the small ice chunks around rapidly combining to form a small pillar, or cylinder, of ice. After a moment, Shimiru went slack-jawed. Honestly, she hadn'texpect anything much. It was her first try, after all. But as she stared at the perfectly formed ice cylinder, with no excess ice chunks lying around, she was surprised. 'A fluke?' She tried again, and gazed at the cylinder with the intent of it moving, shaping, molding into a fuuma shuriken. She watched in amazement as it did exactly as she wanted it to.
Hi Soujuu [Ice Manipulation] [Attribute] [2/4]

Tentatively, she reached out and picked up the large shuriken. It was definitely lightweight, but was it durable? With a flick of her arm and a large shatter that immediately followed, Shimiru concluded that no, it was not durable. But nonetheless, she then glanced at the ice fragments, turned her back to them, and attempted to shape it without looking at it. She allowed the fragments to rise up into the air and converge back into a single chunk of ice. It then separated into many pieces again and reformed into various weapons such as kunai and shuriken. Shimiru turned around to look at her work and nodded in satisfaction, still surprised that she had pulled it off, successfully, on the first try.
Hi Soujuu [Ice Manipulation] [Attribute] [3/4]

After much more reshaping of the ice and playing with it for several minutes, Shimiru could honestly say that she was satisfied with the results of her training thus far. The ice was like clay to to her, and all it required was for her to do a single hand sign and picture what she wanted it to be. For about an hour though, she had forced herself to work on the speed at which it was manipulated. She made herself get used to creating the images as flashes, commanding the ice to take shape quickly, in a flash. She knew that in battle, this was absolutely necessary.
Hi Soujuu [Ice Manipulation] [Attribute] [4/4] Complete

The blue-eyed girl then moved on to a technique that she was most certain to use much of. Weapons were a shinobi's most basic and handy tools, and weapons made of ice would no doubt be even more useful. Shimiru picked up a stray chunk of ice from the ground and gazed at it. She checked her scroll and read over the instructions once before placing it back in the large pocket on the side of her black capris. She had the basic idea down, but theory also needed to be accompanied by practicality. Shimiru did a hand sign with her right hand while gazing at the chunk of ice on her left palm.
Higu no Jutsu [Ice Tool Technique] [1/3]

Once again, just as it had done when she first tried to manipulate the ice, the ice in her palm immediately responded and five senbon were formed. Her eyes widened as she held them. 'Is it supposed to be this easy?' Shimiru molded the senbon back together into one chunk of ice and tried it again. Again the jutsu went without a hitch. Five kunai lay in her hand, transparent and with a bluish tinge of color to them that identified them as being made of ice. Their coldness spread to her hand, but it did not bother her and she shaped the ice back into one chunk.
Higu no Jutsu [Ice Tool Technique] [2/3]

After confirming with the scroll that she was doing the technique properly, Shimiru carried it out once more. This time she found herself holding four bluish-white crystal-like shuriken and held them in her right hand as she looked around the outdoor training area. Once she spotted a dummy not too far off, she flung the shuriken at it. All them landed and pierced the dummy, but one of the shuriken seemed to be off by a centimeter from the direct center of it's forehead. She narrowed her eyes and dropped the jutsu, shaping the shuriken back into a single chunk.

After finally deciding to have a short break, Shimiru got back to reading the scroll carefully, deciding the next technique she would work on and learn. She read over it for a few minutes before settling on a jutsu and figuring out the steps that needed to be taken in order to not waste time on doing any mistakes. The girl then closed back the scroll and placed it in her pants' side pocket. She closed her eyes, took a deep breath, and focused her chakra, quickening it so she could successfully carry out jutsu quickly. After that, she channeled the chakra to her arms and hands.
Hyourou no Jutsu [Ice Prison Technique] [1/4]

Shimiru quickly made a hand sign and formed an illusionary clone, which she promptly ordered to stand in front of her a few feet away. With a shout, she then slammed her hands to the ground and raised her head. Several columns of ice at once rose up from the ground, surrounding the clone. The girl walked over to the ice and pulled out a kunai, thrusting it into the ice to check it's durability. Once she confirmed that the kunai had simply made a tiny crack, she put it back in her holster and backed away, quickly going through what she would need to do next.
Hyourou no Jutsu [Ice Prison Technique] [2/4]

Focusing on her target, she observed how the ice had not gone beyond the clone's neck. This was a good technique for capturing someone, but what if you wanted to kill them? Shimiru analyzed the ice and just as the scroll had instructed, added a bit more chakra to the ice while holding a hand seal. On command, the ice creeped up above the clone's neck and engulfed it entirely. Shimiru disregarded the fact that she was potentially watching herself suffocate, and instead focused on the mechanisms of the technique. After a short bit, she released the clone and the technique after she had confirmed that everything was done correctly.
Hyourou no Jutsu [Ice Prison Technqiue] [3/4]

Shimiru worked on how she released the chakra for the technique many times, trying to constantly improve the speed at which her techniques were to be carried out. She double-checked everything and, finding nothing wrong, opened her scroll for the next technique. So far things were going surprisingly well, and she continued to be surprised by how easily the ice responded to her. She thought about how good her chakra control was, and regretted not working as a medic, but mentally shook her yet. Medics needed to have compassion and patience, something of which the girl lacked.
Hyourou no Jutsu [Ice Prison Technique] [4/4] Complete
[Mission] Learn a Justu x 2 Complete

For the next technique, Shimiru first reviewed the instructions on how it was carried out and worked on memorizing the correct hand seals. It seemed simple enough, and it was yet another technique that worked with projectiles. The girl began to question whether or not she was slowly becoming a mid-range fighter with these techniques. She set the scroll down and did the correct hand signs while focusing her chakra to her outstretched hand.
Hyouton: Tsubame Fubuki [Ice Release: Snow Storm Swallows] [1/4]

Water slowly accumulated in the palm of her hand before freezing and turning to ice. She noticed that the technique was much more elegant than the Ice Tool technique before throwing the ice chunks in the air. Just as she dis this, a breeze swept by, sweeping her hair as the ice chunks morphed and took shape into petite swallows. She watched as they flew straight ahead and pierced the training dummy she had aimed for.
Hyouton: Tsubame Fubuki [Ice Release: Snow Storm Swallows] [2/4]

The girl observed how the chakra worked in shaping the ice. The hand seals worked on channeling the chakra in a certain way and lace itself to the ice so it can take a specific shape, in this case being a swallow. She dropped the technique and watched as the swallows lost their shape and fell back as chunks. However, the damage to the dummy had already been done.
Hyouton: Tsubame Fubuki [Ice Release: Snow Storm Swallows] [3/4]

Shimiru worked on the speed at which the water assimilated on her hand and froze into ice. It was slow going at first, but it gradually became easier and easier to carry out. She was starting to gain a higher understanding of the mechanisms of her bloodline and the catalysts that were needed for certain actions and techniques. When she was sure she got the technique down, Shimiru went back inside to the academy in search of more scrolls.

The girl walked back into the academy and looked around, noticing that there were others training. However, her gaze didn't linger on them for long. She walked around for a bit until she spotted the scrolls near some classrooms and picked up a few maruton, suiton, and fuuton scrolls. With arms full of scrolls, she walked back to the outdoor training ground and plopped all of them down, she herself sitting down cross-legged and unfurling three of them. 'I must look like some bookworm... Shimiru rolled her eyes to herself and continued reading the history of several techniques and their mechanisms.

After a bit of reading, Shimiru settled on a fairly easy technique to learn and stood up. She did the hand signs instructed and walked around. After a bit, she began running, and eventually jump to nearby trees. Yes, her footsteps indeed seemed to silence a bit and it would be difficult for someone whom she was following to sense her. Her presence seemed to grow dimmer, as if she was blending into her surroundings. She nodded to herself and dropped the technique.
Bikou Ninjutsu [Shadowing Stealth Technique] [1/1] Complete

The girl then moved on to the next technique on her mental list, the temporary body paralysis technique. She wasn't afraid of doing it on herself, so as to make sure that the jutsu was done properly. After doing the hand signs, she focused her chakra and tried to apply it to herself. At first, it hadn't turned out quite like she expected it to, but she would try again nonetheless.
Kanashibari no Jutsu [Temporary Body Paralysis Technqiue] [1/3]

Shimiru did the hand signs again and concentrated on drawing out her chakra and channeling it through the hand seals. She then steadily applied it to herself and immediately felt it working. She couldn't move a muscle. At least she could blink, but that was about it. Then she worked on slowly releasing the technique and gradually felt herself regain control of her body. It was a strange and uncomfortable experience, but a necessary one.
Kanashibari no Jutsu [Temporary Body Paralysis Technique] [2/3]

She then practiced the speed of the technique and quickened the rate of chakra being channeled and sent out. After tweaking some things here and there, Shimiru sat back down on the ground and looked over a scroll some more to see what other useful techniques she should learn. The exhaustion was creeping up on her again, but she promised herself a break if she would learn one more jutsu. 'I'm such a slave-driver...'
Kanashibari no Jutsu [Temporary Body Paralysis Technique] [3/3]

Shimiru sighed and continued to skim over the scrolls, looking for the next useful technique to learn. There were quite a few suiton and fuuton jutsu she wanted, but what if she was on the defensive? Offensive techniques wouldn't really be useful in that case, then. She continued to think before her gaze stopped on one particular D ranked technique, the Shunshin. She shrugged and settled for that one, reading over the instructions and memorizing the hand seals.
Shunshin no Jutsu [Body Flicker Technique] [1/2]

Once she got the theory down, the girl performed the hand signs and focused her chakra to a few feet in front of her. Sure enough, in a flurry of chilled wind, she disappeared from her original spot and reappeared near the pond, the exact spot she had focused on. Shimiru nodded mentally to herself for yet another job well-done and sat down for the break she had promised herself.
Shunshin no Jutsu [Body Flicker Technique] [2/2] Complete

Shimiru finally decided to put on her jacket when a cold gust of wind blew against her bare arms, sending goosebumps across her skin. Suddenly, she rose back into a sitting position and looked at the same scroll she had learned the previous technique from. Her eyes landed on the next technique she would learn, the Hidden Mist Technqiue. Excellent for concealment and getting moisture from the air.
Kirigakure no Jutsu [Hidden Mist Technique] [1/2]

She shot through the hand seals quickly, having already memorized them, and focused her chakra and sent it out in steady streams to the surrounding air. Just then, a heavy mist seemed to come down around her, blocking her field of vision. Shimiru was amazed at how well the jutsu had worked on her first try. When she made sure she had gotten it down correctly, she released it and sighed in relief when the mist lifted and she was able to see again.

Tochiga, Hanzo
ll Gennin // MainClass: Bukijutsu // Subclass: Bloodline // AC: 0 // CP: 220 - 5 - 10 = 205 ll

[Juurai Toorima Stage one Training:]
Hanzo came in the dojo while rubbing the sleep from his eyes. Generally he had a good disposition after taking long naps but this one he wasn't quite liking. Phmmp...! Eugh...that's right, I have to train. His fingers assuaged the cramp over his jaw from sleeping irregularly in that same position and soon fixed themselves over to the back of his neck. A quiet crack reverberated from the flexing. I need more potassium.. He let out a rugged yawn, stretching all he could be before assuming a sound stance.
----
Tabi Koutai [ Tabi Shift ]
Hanzo looked across the Dojo's flooring. Well, he knew he wasn't wearing an actual Tabi but it didn't matter what he wore for his feet, did it? As prompted in the scroll guide, he adjusted his dominant foot, enough to assert a fixed position. Hanzo began depicting a procedure of where he would evade an opponents swing. He carefully shifted his prior heel which then allowed him to traverse past the imaginary obstacle.
---
[Stage Two]
Endan no Jutsu [ Smoke Bomb Technique ]
Once he was all buttered up and done with the first stage, the young shinobi then prepared a separate room. He didn't mind the size since it was fair for the vacancy of an individual. Moments later, from the side of his waist-pouch he took out a smoke pellet. Now that he's gotten a better look at one, his most fondest of memories from when his mishaps happened the most returned all on the spot. Though, the mishaps often circled around him. Wiping that steely smirk from his face, he began.

Hanzo propped the pellet inbetween his fingers, the index and the middle. Within seconds, he threw it over the hard surface. From that smokescreen, he took the time to hastily shirk away. By the time the smoke had cleared, Hanzo remained silent and relaxed between the wedges provided by the ceiling above. It was simple to follow. He just had to be nimble and quick on his toes the moment the pellet hits the surface. And taking in the environmental factors would be just as well since a draft or two could easily diminish it.
---
Aseru [ To Fade ]
This time around, Hanzo was granted the favor of another training rookie. The young shinobi was grateful for the male's cooperation while also being wary of his brutish looking hands. He would hate to get clobbered by those meat wrenchers. On the count of three indicated by Hanzo's previous request, the male waited with an undulating form. It was quite intimidating, for Hanzo to be honest. He had never seen such wide and eager muscles bulging here and there on someone similar to his age. He blinked, and sheepishly smiled as he nodded for his partner's initiation. Though the guy already left his start of origin...

Despite his bear-like frame, the male was proven to be very fast on his feet. The moment the grunt-looking guy lurched his form down his target's direction, Hanzo quickly prepared a smoke pellet in each hand. When the raw moment came for him to face head-on danger, he slammed the smoke bombs inches past his feet. Fluidly following the obscurity of his vision, Hanzo formed a handseal. He felt an immediate surge of chakra travel throughout his body which and from then on his body handled the rest. An incisive shift to the left and then a followup glide which soon enabled Hanzo to leave the hazy area. His opponent looked around, reasonably irritated at Hanzo's success. Mumbling a couple of incoherent words, he left while fanning the smoke around his direction. In the meantime, it left the room reverberating lines of giggles from an amused Hanzo, specifically behind the set-up training mats.

Tochiga, Hanzo
ll Gennin // MainClass: Bukijutsu // Subclass: BloodlinAe // AC: 0 // CP: 185/220 ll

[Stage Twp of Kyoukan Ya; Rapid Fire] [1/2]
Hanzo quickly drew his composite bow from his right and held a steady arrow at the midsection. He took in a lengthy breath, causing slight domes to palpate over his expanding cheeks as he did so. Around him were considerable targets and again he was fairly secluded among the rest. Perfect for him to test out the Rapid Fire Technique. Hanzo thought this was a sloppy technique but he might as well get it out of the way.
[2/2]
Quick fires, one after another. He was already onto his fifth arrow by the time it was drawn back. He was nonplussed by the fact that three or two of the arrows had missed and instead fell miserably to the ground. But this was progress. And although unplanned and reckless, he concluded that the use of this technique would be redeemed as a last resort. After firing his last arrow, he steadily patted at his sore shoulder. The arm that which paced back and forth, quicker at the start and progressively declining. He exhaled, hoping to never go through that again. Afterwards, he started to pick up as many fallen arrows that were still usable after the onslaught of multiple firing.

[Sidewinder] [1/2]
Hanzo now stood about fifteen meters away from a net-fence with a cup adjacently behind it. The cup was the target in this exercise. Hanzo was the Archer, whose primary task was to shoot it down as if it were an actual target. That was his challenge. So I apply chakra here...and... He assessed the scroll's information before rolling it back then placing it on the desk beside him. He readied his bow, the arrow head inches forward from his left curled index and thumb but still relatively near to compass the target. He applied chakra through the arrow, at least before it was drawn. Through a concentrated and well expressed amount, he hoped it would arc at a relative angle. Experimenting. His lips sank heavy and null of it's positive grins and stretches, quite unlike his whimsical nature. He saw how the arrow was too dense with chakra and instead stiffened the arc he hoped would stretch. And as a result, it missed the arrow and cup entirely.
[2/2]
He drew in a patient breath of air and tried again. This time, he was careful with his chakra and instead had it cover the upper most level of the arrow's body. More into the arrowhead. With this slight alteration now established, Hanzo released the bow's string. He noticed how it did curve over the wall as he was seeing through a fishnet. His temples felt heavy with much thought. He was shooting in the right angle though the arrow had flown too far from the target. He conjured the arrow and shot it again. He just had to place the bow vertically upwards a bit for the distance to shorten. Before long, he had done it. Hanzo observed the cup in it's punctured state. The arrow didn't directly spear a perfect radius within the cup's diameter of course however, it did penetrate a good side of it.
[Heavens Spear] [1/2]
Mastering the Sidewinder now brought him to the next challenge. The Compled Heaven's spear. He pondered about it's name as he read through the contents. A brow rose by the mention of it's collateral ability to use electrical charges depending on how high it flies. Perhaps this would be..better off outside than inside the dojo. "Can't have falling arrows about the place. It would be a nightmare.." He mumbled, surprised by the realization and consideration briefly put into the motive to get him to leave.

Jae had been warming up in the area, considering messing around with creating her new jutsu. It was then when she noticed someone familiar, aside from all of the unfamiliar faces, that showed up before on the extensive grounds. She narrowed her eyes as if that would give her a better line of sight. "Sunbae?" Jae said aloud, calling to who she believed was Noctis. Only one person could have a head of hair that made him look like a hedgehog. Walking over to him, she smirked, placing her hands on her hips. "So the recluse finally emerged from his den of inequity." She teased, her nature as buoyant as always. Her breath came out in little puffs of cold air intermingling with the warmth of her body. It wasn't as heavy a cloud as before, slowly she was starting to readapt to the climate.

Jae coaxed her head slightly, looking around. "Well, I am not here to just take in the scenery..." Her sarcastic retort was in response to his common sense type of question. Scratching the back of her head she crinkled her nose. "What are you here for?" Jae asked Noctis, cutting to the chase. She knew enough about him to know he didn't seek people out for whimsical reasons. Something was up.

Jae crossed her arms over her chest, her grin tightening somewhat as she raised a brow quizzically in his direction. "Oh really?" She said, not meaning it to be a question. She wasn't really interested in sparing with anyone at the moment. Before she had been the type to just plunge into any sort of fight no matter what disadvantage she was facing but she had become somewhat wiser. She sighed, looking at the ground in front of her. "The fruits of my training huh..." She was still unhappy at the idea of sparing. To Jae being hostile toward her enemy was the only way she could go all out. She felt no hostility toward Noctis nor would she ever. She was not a show off and did not like to flex her power around like she was tough s**t either. It was hard to take fights seriously, unless she had something to prove, in which she didn't in this case. "Alright then. But I am not promising anything. I don't spar." Jae uncrossed her arms and rolled out the pinched nerve in her right shoulder. "Anything goes right?" She assumed.

[ooc : Jae wouldn't ask him even if he picked it up and showed her the proof that she needed help with it. Her pride is her greatest fault and virtue. ]

Noctis walked a few feet away from her and turned to her."I suppose." He got into a stance and got ready to fight.

Jae took a small breath and calmed herself down. She was the hotheaded type and it took her a couple of minuets sometimes to rationalize a sort of strategy for herself. She had seen some of what Noctis could do on their last mission and knew enough that this ground was his home ground. Automatically she was at a disadvantage but was also in her rights in a sense. Water resided in snow so she could summon it in large quantities but she wouldn't mess with water today unless she absolutely needed to. She wanted to test what she had lined up in her Bloodline. It was risky to use her fiercest Jutsu on anyone, even in a spar but she had a feeling Noctis could handle it. The only problem now was getting him close enough to try it on. Holding out her palm she activated her chakra, the blood in her veins getting agitated in effect. Rather rapidly, small droplets of blood fell upward, yes upward, as they formed in a small collection around her. There were dozens of small sphere shaped disks around her, none any bigger than a large bumble bee. No one would ever assume these could do any damage but Jae knew better. The edges of each of her little Bb's, so she liked to call them, were razor sharp and could slice through leather when given the right angles. She flicked her hand forward, toward Noctis and in that instant all of the collective drops moved in an angry swarm towards him. They came from above, below, the sides you name it. Jae was still testing the waters, trying to make him react. It was the only thing she could do at the moment. Reacting was part of acting. Pulling out a Kunai from her holster she followed after her Bb's as they flew at him in their swarm. Jae did not want to give him too much girth. The more time he had the easier it was for him to summon a longer chained Jutsu which usually meant it was more powerful.
