I heard them only after they got really big. My friend made me listen to "I'm not okay", but i didnt really like it because i was in a "songs must only be 2 minutes long!" phase.
I had seen the album when at camp though, and thought it was insanely cool. Belonged to a teenie though. eek

I saw a picture of them somewhere and was like "they look...interesting..." So I checked them out, loved them, and started some promotion in the B.A.

I have to be honest. I found them out the mainstream way. xd I just saw I'm Not Okay on MTV Hits [it's a channel where they play music videos nonstop], and, being the little kid I was in seventh grade, I was obsessing over Gerard's hotness gonk I thought I was so hardcore for listening to MCR, so I was scared to ask my parents for their CD because I was afraid of what they would think. So I waited until Christmas 2005, and by then, I wasn't all "OMG I THINK IM SO HARDXCORE GUYZ" so I asked my parents for their CD [3 Cheers] for Christmas.
And here I am today with both CD's, a content smile on my face, and sore fingers from rambling off topic. 3nodding

I heard about them just from 1 of my friends... that was about 18months ago now before they were enourmously popular and even before them term "Emo" had been created... so then after hearing her talk about them soooo much i though they must be real good (since we like all the same bands and stuff) so i downloaded some of their songs and got into them... and theyve been like my top band for ages now...

Hmmm, how did I hear of them?
Well I just saw their video I'm Not Ok on Tv so I thought, hey, the lead guy looks cool! And it was on Kerrang! TV so anything I see on there I more or less think is awesome ^__^
Next issue of Kerrang had an MCR special ^_^ And now I'm hooked!

my friend went to a Greenday concert and they were a support band for them and she got hooked ..then i got hooked xd

I got into them about when Helena started getting played on the radio. I loved it, but I didn't know who it was by or even what it was called. But, I knew about MCR and they were, like, number one on my list of bands to look up and listen to. So I was really surprised when I found out that they did Helena. That was enough for mw to get hooked.
That and Gerard's pretty face. xd

I only really got into them a few months ago, all my friends were telling me how rubish they were and as i mostly have the same taste in music as my friends i thought i would think the same so didn't bother checking them out, then whilst watching kerrange the video for i'm not okay came on and i was like "wow this is kinda catchy" and kept humming it to myself for a little while then i heared a live version of thank you for the venom and decided that i had to get one of their albums so that day i went out and got three cheers, now i love them.

well not to sound poserish since most of you were probably into them before this but i heard helena on MTV ((blechhh fuse is so much better)) then i heard im not okay and im all.holy s**t this is some good music.i then heard this mirror isnt big enough for the both of us and then i decided to listen to tons of em. and yeah,theyve been my favorite band since.cant wait to buy there new CD!!!

Trocks345 Hehe, just wondering! Everyone has their own story, so lets post them here! OMG well my best friend already like them and stuff so i was like who is that ur listening to? and shes like my chemical romance, and i remember hearing about them when they first came out because they were on the cover of spin magazine and gerard looked all sexy with his pale face and white gloves ahhhhhhhhhh oh man ever since i bought all the cd's and im soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo in love! oh ~sighs
