lol, i celebrated 'sinterklaas' yesterday, 2 days late. Does anyone around here know what it is? It is a dutch holiday, and it is what your santa claus was derived from... And we took santa back from you so we get presents twice! blaugh

And we took santa back from you so we get presents twice! blaugh Lucky!!! Well, I get double presents too...in a way. We have the European/American stockings and Australian pillow cases. We get food gifts in the stocking and small presents in the pillow case. This is because we have both European and Australian haritage.

Funny how a generous Catholic saint can turn into the legend of santa clause. I wonder how many people know that santa wears red because St. Nicholas was a bishop, and they wear red...
