I was only like lvl 10 when I was traded...then the experience boost came into play and I got a rare candy and the rest I got off dueling random creatures...and Feuer.

xD If you think about it Pokemon is quite the violent show.

Capture small animals from the wild and steal them away. Force them to fight in meaningless battles (though actually after you catch them they automatically love you in most cases it seems... MIND CONTROL!) which if things went poorly could end up in the demise of a pokemon or even a person (as they are basically super powered wild animals! Don't think a human can really take a great get of fire from say flamethrower and come out unharmed >_> ) who might get caught in the crossfire or a much too powerful attack.
So crazy!

All you have to do is think of the movies, especially the first with Mewtwo, he could have destroyed us all >.>
