Meleanie said " Vince I forgot to tell you i'v got food for you guys."

Tailmon add " Yay we didn't know what you liked best so we got you Gatorade and Water."

"Oww that hurt"growlmon said as Shin hit him "What should we do now?"

"Sorry Growlmon but let's keep going to the cave even if they dont want us "Shin said. Shin and Growlmon kept on going and noticed that the other tamers went to two different paths. Growlmon went up and sniffed the sides of the two tunnels.

"The tamer with the lopmon went through this path with those pointy things and the tamer with Sai and Nightmare went through the other" Growlmon said as he looked back at Shin

"ok let's go through the one that's dangerous I'd rather try to convince the tamer with the lopmon more so that we can work together" Shin said
Shin and Growlmon continued through the path with the lopmon tamer.

Vince looked at Meleanie, and than said. "Sai fight her...." Those words seemed to echo through the remains of the tunnel. Sai nodded.
"Omni Sword!" He drew his sword and charged at Meleanie.
"Nightmare, try to get this gate opened." Vince told her. Nightmare nodded.
"Grand Cricket!" With one might strike on the gate, the gate rumbled violently, making the tunnel vibrate and everything. "Grand Cricket!" She tired again and each time was the same results.
"Meleanie...your not suppose to be here...." Vince said. True, he thought that she was on the other side of the wall with the others because no one was with him before that point.

((Note: You can't do that and make it successful every time. Plus he is a mega and Tailmon is a Champion. There is a large chance that it will fail))

Sai shook it off and stared at her. "Hypnotizing me is such a waste of time. Do you think that a champion could defeat a mega?" Sai smiled. "Don't waste my time and just fight!" Sai charged at Tailmon (aka Gatomon. I was confused on who Tailmon was.). Sai grabbed Tailmon by the tail and threw her towards Meleanie.

After about five strikes of Nightmare's Grand Cricket attack, the gate started to move slowly. Smoke started to rapidly spin out of the gate and Vince and Nightmare took the chance and jumped into the smoke, entering the gate. After they entered, the gate stopped moving, it began moving back to close it. Probably due to the lack of power afterwards. They looked around. It wasn't a tunnel anymore, it was a large room. Three doors were in front of him. Than a shadow appeared in the center of the room. The digimon slowly flew down towards them, and it was Crusadermon and a bunch of Knightmons fallen down after her.
"Human! Why are you here?!" She asked Vince.
"Because we have something to do. A mission and quest." Vince told her.
Than AncientSphinxmon appeared from within the shadows. "Don't believe him. He is here to destroy the leader of the cave." Crusadermon looked at AncientSphinxmon and than at Vince.
"Is that true?" She than jumped to conclusion. "Destroying our leader is hopeless. You must defeat all the Ancient Warriors and the Royal Knights! You're never going to make it..." She said. "Now Die!" AncientSphinxmon smiled and than disappeared. "Scarlet Tempest!" Petals started to fly across the room, and she disappeared within them.
"Nightmare, you know what to do." Vince told her. She nodded.
"Heart Breaker!" The battle began.

Outside of the gate, Sai was blocking Meleanie's way towards the gate. It was closed shut and he doubt that she would have enough energy to get in.

"Wow. Is this how you get before you get desperate?" Sai asked her. "Hyper Prominence!" He started to shoot in every gun port there was on his body. Shooting everywhere in the small tunnel they were in.

As the Knightmons and Crusadermon charged at them, with their attacks AncientSphinxmon appeared again, laughing a bit. He disappeared again, just hiding within the shadows. Probably wanted to watch Vince's death and suffer. "Berserk Sword!" The Knightmons shouted. There were about four of them.
"Scarlet Tempest!" The whirlwind of petals appeared with the four Knightmons charging at them within it as if they were flying. "Face the facts, you can't defeat me!"
"Grand Cricket!" Nightmare shouted. Slamming her Queen Stick onto the Knightmons. There was a metal clank as she hit them, but they kept coming back towards them. Within seconds, Nightmare and Vince were blown back towards the wall. "They are stronger than regular Knightmons." Nightmare told Vince.
"I know...." Vince told her. "But we could do it....We could defeat her...."

Allie was sitting on a high ledge, swinging her legs over the edge and letting out 'ooohhhh's and 'aaahhh's and comical smashing noises as the Knightmon and other digimon thingies attacked each other.
She briefly wondered how she got there, before her mind wandered off to study the battle below.

As it were, after the kerfuffle with Ancientspynxmon, she spied a butterfly looking digimon, and ran after it, Dusklet trailing behind her. She couldn't quite remember what happened after that though, but quite clearly remembered falling into a hole.
And landing on a high ledge.

She rubbed her shoulder gently. Maybe it was 'always land on your back', not 'always land on your shoulder'. She couldn't remember really. But then, she did get horribly confused sometimes, she mused.

She snapped out of her daze though, when she heard a hoarse cry, and a soft thud. Leaning over slightly, she peered downwards.
It was apparent that the tamer attempted to take on a Knightmon by his lonesome. How odd. And kooky.

If Allie liked one thing, it was shiny things. And by all accounts, the now passed out boy was not shiny. But he was interesting.
For a single moment, rationality managed to dropkick her usual recklessness and 'not thinking' modes, allowing a moment of clarity.
Clarity provided that a) Strikedramon was probably not enough to take on Knightmon, b) Perhaps a sneak retrieval was in order, and c) I want a cookie.

The last thought was a result of distraction taking revenge on behalf of 'not thinking'.

"Dusklet." She asked, turning to the purple Digimon beside her. "Do you reckon you could fly down and grab that guy?" She asked, pointing dramatically.

Dusklet sighed.
"Alright... As long as you don't shout 'Dusklet! I choose you!' again. it sounds like a line from a generic cartoon." He replied.

Somewhere.... Very far away... The fourth wall crumbled.

Floating down gently, and hopefully discreetly, Dusklet noted that the Knightmon's focus was still on the passed out tamer.
"Oh great... now what?" he sighed

Distraction came in the form of flying packets of foreign candy, raining down from a high ledge...

((In the last post, I meant to say that Nightmare turned back to PawnChessmon B sweatdrop ))

Vince got to Nightmare and helped her up as gently as he could. The Scarlet Tempest was coming fast towards them. "Nightmare wake up!" He shouted towards her. She struggled a bit, but she sat up and saw the whirlwind. It was coming on to them faster and faster, with each second, the whirlwind came about a feet closer towards them. "You have to digivolve..."
"I can't. You digivice doesn't work here. No ones can." Nightmare replied. The whirlwind was about two inches away from them now. "Look out!" She pushed Vince away, but doing that pushed her away a bit also. The whirlwind past them, and disappeared as it hit a wall.
Vince took out his digivice. It was dead as if for a toy, the batteries were taken out of it. Vince looked at Nightmare. How could they beat a Royal Knight with only a rookie? Crusadermon could easily pummel them to a small piece of ash. Vince remained calm, but those questions just kept coming back. Vince looked at Crusadermon. She was walking towards him, arms folded. Her facial expression was hidden, but Vince could tell she was bored of having us as enemies. Vince stood up and looked at her and than Nightmare. "You have to digivolve..."
"I know. In order to protect you, I must digivolve!" Than Nightmare started to glow. "PawnChessmon warp digivolve to.......RookChessmon! Rook Gatling!" Nightmare jumped into the air and blasted Crusadermon with all her might. Smoke appeared from the ground and covered Crusadermon. Nightmare landed in front of Vince and thought it was a direct hit, but than the shadow appeared within the smoke. The shadow came closer and closer, charing at them.
"Fist of Athena!" She thrust out of the smoke. She was coming at an extremely fast rate. It was too late to dodge or run away from it.
"Castle Wall!" Nightmare got in front of the attack and the fist punched her where her two arms were crossed. The punch came first, than a vibration that extended across the room, and lastly, the big boom! Smoke appeared out of the punch and sliding Nightmare back and crashing towards the wall. Nightmare looked at her. "I'll never give up. Not as long as Vince remains alive, I'll protect him. Sai and I will protect him...RookChessmon digivolve to.........QueenChessmon!" She jumped out of the wall and came towards Crusadermon.
"A mega. Finally some fun." Crusadermon laughed a bit. "Laser Lattice!" She jumped back and in her palm was a glowing orb. "Fire!" the orb shot a laser that directly hit Nightmare. Nightmare was pushed back a bit, but she fought it.
"Grand Cricket!" She jumped into the air and struck with her Queen Stick. Crusadermon jumped out of the way and used the same attack. "That won't fool me again. Heart Breaker!" She took her sword for a down slash but Crusadermon dodged it.
"Spiral Masquerade!" She disappeared and than Nightmare, and before Vince knew it, Nightmare had scratches all over her body, just like what happened to Knightmon. "Ha, you are no match for me."
"Are you so sure?" Nightmare asked her. "Are you sure I'm not going easy on you?" Crusadermon looked at her and than laughed. "Grand Cricket!" Nightmare took the open shot and struck her directly in the head. She fell to the ground as a pile of dust flew out of the way, forming a circle. "Element of surprise, is a classic."
"I know." Crusadermon laughed and than disappeared. "Spiral Masquerade!" She did the same thing and this time at the very end, before Nightmare fell to the ground. "Fist of Athena!" She punched Nightmare right in the guts, sending her flying up into the sky. "Fist of Athena!" Crusadermon jumped into the sky, above Nightmare and punched her down towards the ground at about 115 mphs. The impact was deadly. The ground cracked and spikes formed out of it. Where Nightmare landed, formed a large ditch that was about 15 ft across and about 5 ft deep. "Now that is how you do the element of surprise." She said slapping her hands together. "Now to finish it. Fist of Athena!"
"Heart Breaker!" Nightmare fought back.
"How could this be?" Crusadermon asked her with a surprised voice. Nightmare was breathing heavily.
"I don't give up!" She slammed her sword at her vital points and Crusadermon fell back, giving time for Nightmare to jump out of the ditch. Crusadermon laughed.
"I didn't expect that. You are good, but aren't good enough to beat me!"
