-raising a slight eyebrow at the awkward silence...and the no comforting going on, dame scratches Velcore again and speaks in a soft voice- Karrie, how's your brother holding up? And the rest of the family? Is Mitri okay? -dame isn't really sure of the family dynamics-

Amy sighed softly again when she felt Karrie hold her hand under the counter. She squeezed his back and tried to put some emotion in her voice when she spoke.
"Of course, Karrie. I'm... You can talk with me if you want, whenever you want."

*glances at Dame first, hoping she'd understand that he hadn't told Amy much yet and doesn't think he's just repeating himself, then looks at Amy* It's Niiki's stepmother. She was hit by a car and... it doesn't look too good. *sighs* Niiki and his dad and little sister are staying with my dad right now. My sisters and other brother live close, so they're helping all they can. Mitri decided to come home with me. He's staying with Kits tonight. Kits was pretty close to her too.

She shakes her head sadly, heart breaking even more for them- I am so sorry, Karrie. sad Wh...what happened? -lowers her voice- If it's too much, Karrie, don't answer that. -reaches over and briefly touches his shoulder, eyes earnest-

Amy saw with her periphereal vision that Karrie looked at Dame for a moment before he looked at her. God. Couldn't she just go back to Aqua Springs already? She wanted to be here for Karrie, but she honestly didn't know if he needed her right now or... well, this wasn't about her. It was about Karrie.
She opened her mouth to speak, her heart still hurting for Karrie, it had never stopped. However, Dame said what she was going to, so she closed her mouth. Maybe it'd be best if she just did that tonight, stay quiet.

*stares at the glass in front of him, squeezing Amy's hand tighter* She was crossing a street and some idiot ran a red light. mad If Niiki's little sister had been a little closer to her mom, she would have been hit too!

She releases him as she starts untying her corset and she undresses in front of him dropping one article of clothing at a time to the floor. Once completely undressed and not once taking her eyes off of him, she slowly slips into the bed. Are you going to "tuck me in." wink *He leans down a bit at her urging, his lips meeting hers in a warm, gentle kiss.* I think luck was on both of our sides that day you walked into GGB on my watch. From that point on, something inside of me kept telling me that you were the one for me. *He looks deep into her beautiful blue eyes with his, the love they have for one another is undeniable, and they kiss again with that passion. When they release and she starts undressing in front of him, he takes a step back to enjoy the view, with a smile appearing on his face. When she slides into bed and inquires about being tucked in, he responds with an 'of course' and another smile appears on his face. He then stands before her and undresses, letting each piece fall to the floor as she had done for him. With his desires for her now quite evident, he slides into bed along side her. With great passion, he begins to "tuck her in" for the night.* heart

Amy winced and closed her eyes as she heard Karrie explain the details. That was... awful. That word seemed so small and insignificant to describe what happened, but she couldn't think of any other word at the moment.
Her eyes were still closed. "Karrie... I'm so sorry."

-dame gasps- Oh my gosh, Karrie. sad -gently holds Velcore's head so she can stand and move closer- That truly is terrible, my love. -shakes her head- I'm glad the little sister is alright though. And, despite what the doctors say, I hope the mum gets better too. What is being done about the driver? stressed

*closes his eyes*
*stiffens when he hears Dame calling him "my love" but isn't sure how to react* I hope she gets better too. My brother was talking to a lawyer about the driver when I left. He said he'd call tomorrow to let me know what's happening.

Amy had opened her eyes when she heard Dame say 'my love' to Karrie. She also noticed that Dame moved closer to Karrie. She gritted her teeth together and slowly removed her hand from Karrie's. She knew Dame would soon throw her arms around him, and she didn't want to be holding Karrie's hand when she did so.

-notices Karrie flinch slightly when she speaks and has to think back on what she said confused ... stressed Then remembers she said 'my love'. Well s**t. Poor guy.-
-dame nods, leans down and kisses Velcore's brow, then lets go of him gently and puts a hand on Karrie's upper arm- Listen, it's late, hon. And you have been driving a while so I know you have got to be tired. There's nothing more you can do tonight. Why don't you just go on home, okay? We all can talk more on the morrow. -she smiles at him softly and leans up to kiss his cheek again- I hope to hear from you tomorrow, even if it's a text, letting me know how you, the fam, and Kits are, ya hear? -steps back to pet Velcore again with one hand, other grabbing her drink and draining it-

Amy could not sit there anymore after all she heard Dame say and saw him kiss Karrie's cheek again. She knew Karrie was grieving right now but... shouldn't he still be able to tell her to back off if he really wanted to?
She reached for Karrie's glass, slowly moved her shoulder out from under his head, and then went behind the counter to refill it.

-winces slightly as Amy makes him another drink- sweatdrop I'm...I'm not real sure if caffeine is the best thing right now...Or alcohol...He needs to rest and sleep. -turns to Karrie- Karrie, did you drive to the MW? Either way, Amy, you think you could make sure our boy here gets home safely? -smiles at him and pats his shoulder congenially-
