*After getting out of work, he rushes back to the big house and changes into a suit. He heads downstairs to find his two favorite ladies already dressed and waiting for him in the Parlor, greets them cordially and inquires if they are ready to go. They make their way to the front door and out to the waiting limo. When the 3 of them are settled inside and the door closed behind them, the driver gets inside himself, then drives them to their destination.

Once inside at the Country Club, they check in their wraps at the coat check room, then head over to the Maitre' D who was already waiting to escort them to their table. After everyone was seated at Psyzapp's favorite table, they glance over the new menu appropriated for this special evening and order their drinks and a few appetizers to share prior to the evening's meal.

Throughout the evening, they enjoy the company of many others in attendance to celebrate the coming of the New Year. Chatter can be heard throughout the main dining room as everyone mingles. Classical music plays in the background, not too loud but at decent levels that is pleasant to most ears. In the center of the room, an area had been cleared away for anyone who wished to dance.

At one point, he notices Palmira swaying a little to an orchestrated number, so he rises from his seat and asks Mama Pavani if he may have this dance with her. Smiling, she speaks to him in Italian of her approval and he escorts her out for a few turns around the dance floor. After the song finishes and another soon starts, he escorts Mama Pavani back to their table, where he next inquires and escorts his beaming fiance' out on the floor for another dance.

When it came time to usher in the New Year, the three of them joined in with all the other guests to count down the last 10 seconds of 2010 and ring in the New Year of 2011 with the novelty bells and noise makers provided on each table. As he is seated between his two favorite ladies, he first leans over and places a kiss on Palmira's cheek before he wishes her a Happy New Year, then goes to his other side and leans in for a long, passionate kiss with the only woman of his dreams. Palmira looks over at the two love birds, knowing that this man is good for her daughter and smiles with approval.

As the music plays on through the night, some people chatter about resolutions while others toast to the New Year with clinking champagne glasses. Not long after, the guests start to dwindle down as everyone makes their way out of the Country Club and back home. As they gather their wraps and head to the front lobby, their driver is ready and waiting out front and takes them back to the big house for the rest of the evening.*

-dame chuckles as he unwraps his present and kisses her. She kisses him back and winks- Don'tcha know, I totally got you because you were drunk one night. xd

-she finishes unwrapping hers to reveal rainbow sneaks nestle under a rainbow streaked dress, she gasps slightly and picks it up, holding it up to herself- Flame! biggrin I love it! -she squeals and kicks off her heels, quickly trying the shoes on- Yayayay! They fit! ^_^

-excited, dame hurries and opens the other one. Finding some gorgeous knee-high green boots, some gloves to match, and a cute flirty dress. dame grins and plops down to try on these shoes as well. She struts for him for a few seconds-

Well, mister, -she slinks over to him- you have one more present. But it'll take a few minutes for me to get it ready...you willing to wait? -she interlaces her fingers with his, leans up on her tippy toes with the added height with the boots, he bends down subconsciously and she nibbles on his bottom lip-

-watching dames excitement, he leans against his desk as she tries on both pairs of shoes, eyes becoming dark as she catwalks in her boots for him. Wrapping his arms around her, he deepens the kiss, not really caring about another gift-

You better hurry. Your time frame is off and that's going to cost you. twisted

Happy New Year, Flame. -she kisses him back then snorts- Maybe you just don't drive fast enough. wink -before he can retort, she giggles and flounces away, bending down to grab the present box and then hustles off into the other room, shutting the door behind her-

-she goes as quick as she can, getting his gift ready, eyeing his bed lustfully a few times. The first thing she does is get the boots off, they would totally clash-

Just as he is griping at her to hurry the hell up, she talks through the door- While I was in Williamsburg this summer, I got you a little something from the leatherworkers.

–she finally comes out, sporting a fine, dark red leather coat that was comically dragging the floor by at least a foot, if not more. Because dame is so much smaller than Flame, the coat is WAY too big; it completely swallows her. She looks like a little girl dressing up in her daddy’s jacket. She has it buttoned all the way down to her feet, sleeves dangling. Tantalizing glimpses of her chest can be seen through her hair near the collar. She struts over to him-

You like? –she does a small spin. The craftsmanship in the leather is immaculate. You can tell it was made at the hands of skilled workers who also took great pride in their work. As she turned, on the back of the coat, starting from the bottom hem, is an imprint of flames pressed into it, rising to where the tops would hit the back of his knee. There are also small flame imprint on the cuffs of the sleeves and on the collar. Once Flame looks close enough, he would also see that the buttons are fire too. dame grins widely at him and awaits his reaction-

-he stares at dame with amusement on his features. She looked very much like the youngn he teased her of being with his gift dangling from her. As he inspected the coat, his amusement turned into awe and appreciation from the intricacy of the coat-

That is ******** bad a** dame. I love it.

I'm glad you like it. -her eyes darken as she slowly pulls him- Look here at the buttons, Flame... twisted You'll have to unwrap me to try it on... -she chuckles darkly as they disappear into the dark-

{{Retroposting Tes' and Ryzan's New Year's Eve night since I ended up getting occupied with other things. Might take a few days for me to actually post all of it, but I figured posting a little at a time when I'm able will mean less work to do all at once.}}

*The car ride from MW is quiet. Numerous questions pop up in Ryzan's head, but he doesn't open up to ask any of them, feeling he would simply get the same answer each time of, "I'll explain when we get there." Instead, he just watches the scenery pass by though the side window while Tes drives, occasionally taking a sip of his steamer.

Soon, all the lights of the city are behind them and all that can be seen ahead is an unlit backroad. They continue along this winding street for a few minutes before Tes pulls over. It really does look like they're practically out in the middle of nowhere. Without a word, Tes pops the trunk and gets out of the car, taking his drink with him. Still unsure as to what is going on, Ryzan unbuckles his seat belt, but just sits there in the car, watching Tes through the mirrors.

Tes walks around to the back of the car and pulls a folded, ragged blanket out, draping it over his shoulder before closing the trunk. He then comes up to the passenger side and opens the door for Ryzan, offering him his hand to help him out.*

"We'll have to walk from here, but it isn't too far."

*Ryzan grabs his drink out of the cup holder and takes Tes' hand. Once he's out, Tes closes the door and locks up the car, then takes Ryzan's hand once more and starts leading him into a wooded area. The ground is uneven, making it a bit difficult to walk on, especially with the snow cover. Every now and then, Ryzan wobbles a little from stepping into a low part or tripping on a branch which causes Tes to grip his hand tighter.*

"Just hold on to me, and stay behind me. We're almost there."

*Moments later, they are approaching a clearing in the trees. Tes takes only a couple of steps past the treeline before stopping, causing Ryzan to look up. From where they are, they have a scenic view overlooking much of Geezerville; the lights from the various buildings dotting the otherwise dark landscape.*

"Quortek.... it... it is beautiful." surprised
*Ryzan begins to step forward, but Tes quickly sticks his arm out to block him and pushes him back slightly. He looks at Tes with confusion at first, but then his eyes, as if by reflex, look down by his feet and he finds that the land in front of them suddenly ends, leaving a steep ledge.*
"... gi ussta sweatdrop "
"I told you to stay behind me."

*Tes hands Ryzan his drink and asks him to hold it for him a moment. He then takes the blanket off of his shoulder and opens some of the folds, still leaving it partially folded before carefully laying it down on a mostly flat part of the ground. Cautiously, he takes a seat at the furthest end of the blanket, showing there is really only enough blanket for sitting space.

Looking up at Ryzan, he holds up his hands and asks him to hand him the drinks, which he does. He sets them both down on the other side of him, then holds out his hand to Ryzan*
"Careful. There isn't a whole lot of room here."

*Ryzan takes his hand and warily sits on the blanket beside Tes. Once settled, he loops his arm around Tes' and rests his head on his shoulder, looking out over Geezerville. They sit quietly for a minute, just taking in the view before Tes clears his throat to speak*

"You know.... the view is actually kind of just a bonus. I chose this place for another reason altogether...."
*He clears his throat again and takes a sip of his steamer while Ryzan waits patiently for him to continue.*
"At first.... well... you remember how I told you about that last dream I had back when Leko had cursed me? How it started out with you taking me to the river in Nektulos?"
*Ryzan nodded, wondering where this was going.*

"You had picked the river because it was a place that held certain significance to you regarding our relationship. Because you felt that it was because I saved you from that river that you had come to fall in love with me later on in life. For that reason... I initially thought about trying to find a similar river here in Geezerville, but... I thought perhaps it was time I share with you a place of similar significance to me.

You probably never even realized it, but..."

*His words are suddenly cut short when the sky lights up for a brief moment, eventually followed by a bang. Looking back out over Geezerville, he sees that fireworks have begun to be set off somewhere, not only large, professionally done ones, but also small ones in people's backyards.*
"Dammit..."

*He unbuttons his coat just enough to reach in and grab his pocket watch, pulling it out to check the time. Seeing the hands both pointing up at twelve, he curses inwardly*

"Seems that my timing is a bit off. I was wanting to get here well before midnight."

With a soft click, the locks on the door to the apartment currently shared by Dame and Draa opened. Daniel stepped inside swiftly, his Batakos rod in one hand, and an empty duffel over one shoulder. Closing the door, Daniel closed his eyes momentarily before lifting his hand, and the locks clicked back into place.

A quick scan aronud the place showed him that he was currently alone, or at least had the front room to himself. Sliding the rod into a black leather holster that was strapped his right thigh, Daniel got to work. The books and scant few others of his possessions were right were he had left them. A random and tumbled pile at the end of Dame's couch. Tossing the duffel onto the couch, Daniel began packing the books into it as quickly as he could. There were dozens of them, but they were all of a managable size, so in just a few minutes, he had collected them all. Grabbing the last large plastic bag, which held his other boots, hospital scrubs, and two t-shirts, he tied it to the outside of the duffel, before closing the duffel up tight.

Standing, Daniel took one more look around the front room. Strangely, though he ahd spent so little respective time in the place, he found himself strangely attached to it. But he easily realized that even with his memories returning at a trickle, being in the apartment was the longest that he could remember being in one place. Picking up the stone slate square that he had brought back from Adalanuis, Daniel headed back towards Dames room.

Going in, he lay the square on her dresser, and then pulled a sealed and slightly crumpled envelope from a pocket. The envelope, like the paper inside bore the letterhead logo of Aqua Springs. The envelope had but three words on its front. "My Friend Dame." Setting the letter down on top of the stone slate, Daniel resisted the urge to look around the room as he left. Grabbing up his duffel, he exited the apartment as quickly as he had entered, the door locking back as he closed it.

Amy had just gotten out of the shower and was towel-drying her hair. Everyone had fallen asleep in the living room last night a little after midnight. It was awesome! It was one of the best times Amy had ever had, not including her first date with Karrie.

She had been the first to wake up and saw all the dragons cuddled around Kits. It was absolutely adorable!! She even saw Silver curled next to Kits. She had gotten her camera and took a picture of the sight.

Then, she fixed muffins, eggs, and bacon for everyone. When the smell of bacon started wafting through the house, that was when everyone started to wake up.

Amy had used some of the money her mother had given her to buy pounds and pounds of bacon for everyone yesterday. She wasn't sure who all Kits was bringing, but she wanted to make sure she had enough to accommodate all of her pets if they all came. She only ended up cooking about 2/3 of the bacon, though. It still took her over an hour to make everything, though.

After the muffins were done cooking, she started putting bacon in the oven, too, while she was still frying it on the stove. She didn't mind at all, though. She absolutely LOVED cooking for everyone! It was the biggest group she had ever cooked for before, and she hoped that she'd get to do it again in the near future. Seeing everyone really enjoying the food and enjoying the company was wonderful.

She had let her guests all use the shower first, of course. That was why she was just now getting out of it. With her towel still in her hands, drying her hair, she went into the living room and plopped down on the couch next to Karrie. She smiled at everyone.

"Man, this has been such a great time!"

*grins at Amy from her seat on the floor. She was leaning against Velcore and holding the still sleepy Silver on her lap. Gwee, Smok, and Mwee were playing with Thistle and Mitri on the other side of the room* It was pretty fun last night.
