The things Nakai said, while he was sure they were well-meant, simply served to make him feel belittled...like the guitarist viewed him as a baby who couldn't deal with life. Well...it might have been true, to a degree. He did cry and whine a lot...but he could get by without Kai...if he needed to. Still...Chiyou couldn't help but wonder how he could feel so damn lonely with someone right beside him. He wished Kai would love him back. He wished Ishi would come back, somehow. He wondered if he should just...keep things going with Kai, or if he might be better off calling things quits. Looking up at the older star, it was obvious that Hideki was wondering, pondering a lot of things. But....those amber eyes gazing back at him. So beautiful. Stretching up a little, he settled for just kissing Kai. For now...that would do well enough. karada o tsutau ame ni furueru awai omoi guren no yuuwaku ni...samayou yoru ga akeru

He was being as positive as he could be. Matter of fact...it did sound pretty fun. Just relaxing for a bit. Naoko definitely deserved as much. There was something... off... in that kiss.
Of course Kai returned the sentiment, even turning enough to put one hand on Chiyou's cheek.
When they parted, the guitarist smiled, "What was that for?" he asked with a bit of a laugh. "You... you alright, Hi-chan?"
He had no idea that the younger man was feeling belittled... no clue of Chiyou's slight anger over the fact that Kai couldn't commit.
But if he had known... well... hadn't Nakai said that he wasn't a one man sort of man?

Welcome to my Nightmare...I hope I didn't scare you.
Izo listened and took notes in his head. Seemed like Hayato got his balls back...nice...finally. "Glad to see it was just a time filler. Pushovers eh? Interesting opinion of my rival." he said blandly but he'd wait for You's report to really know what was going on. Yeah Izo didn't trust everything his stars said.
"Mm...well yeah. I want Shou to get back here soon too. He's got a ton of catching up to do. Man's going to be more busy than ever. Oh..is that so?" he asked curiously, "I had no idea you had a thing for Shou. Was that what all those 'business' meetings were all about? Did you get very far?" He filed that thought away but of course, Shou was a man although, he never really took on steady relationships. Thus, Izo never had much to threaten Shou with behind the scenes. Even so, having Shou tangled up in a love affair might have kept him a bit more compliant. But with Hayato?
"Might be a good idea if you show up at the benefit. To tell the public what kind of hell the Tsunami actually was. How it affected the people and the loss. As for singing, the set is already established so that might take work it would be rather impromptu for you. Could you handle it?" he tilted his head back and took a puff of his cigar then kicked up his feet on the desk relaxing.
"Mmm...you want Naoko back eh? Well see, I think he should stay right where he is. Ryuukaze-san is starting to build some momentum with the fans. A happy Ryuukaze-san equals a bigger bank roll....BUT...I might have some good ideas of what you can do in the mean time, Hayato-kun. If you really want your kitty back in his proper place." he smirked under the cigar and flicked the ashes into the tray.

"I wasn't hard on him... well..." Naoko shrugged slightly, feeling a bit awkward at this.
He opened the door to the car and stopped, looking at Ryu over the top of it. "He kind of hinted that... well... he wanted me back. It was... weird... I mean, I get that he's grieving but... I'm with you, akuma-kun. He knows that. I refused him though, before you ask." Naoko made sure to assure his lover of that.
Tapping the roof of the car, the blond shook his head. "Just worried about him, I guess. He's not exactly stable either, Ryu-kun."
Naoko got into the car and buckled his seat belt. "But yeah... wasted and pumped sounds good. I need a good time... YOU need a good time... after everything that's happened."

Perhaps he'd be better off accepting the fact...nobody he loved would ever love him back in the way he wanted. It just wasn't the way his life was meant to be. Was it really so bad just spending the time he had with the one's he cared about? After all...he'd lost Ishi in the blink of an eye. Should have been happier with the affection the man did show. If something bad happened to Kai...he'd regret it forever if he didn't make their moments count, if he didn't appreciate the man, especially after all he did. "Thank you." Hiroki did like it when Nezumi smiled in a small cute way. "Oh...well that's good. I'm getting tired of these protective bandages. I want my nose back!" He really was terrible with injuries and this one had drove him nuts. A constant reminder of Narcissus staring back at him. Even though breaking his nose was probably induced by the swelling and he did get a very rare apology it was going to take him a long time to really get used to Narcissus changing.
"For me? Mmm...No your focus is Narcissus while we are here. Even if I would enjoy your company." he answered and smirked just a hair when the hands left his cheek. "You've soft hands Nezumi-san."
But before he could continue down that vein, Yuuji showed up with something good for a change. "Really? That is good news." Hiroki's smile brightened up even more with hope. Even if it wasn't Izzy and Shou it was someone...someone who's life could find it's way out of the tragedy.

I can no longer return to those days free of bloodshed
These deep scars rooted within me will not disappear...
 "Shou....is probably dead, you know." he said, looking at his boss like he was in some strange form of denial. Really...it should have been him saying things like that...but he didn't think that way anymore. "Get very far? No...not really. Like trying to woo a slab of stone, sometimes. I don't think he had the attention span for me, or anyone, for that matter. To be honest, I think I actually held more affection for him than he ever did for me. Can you imagine? Me, affectionate? Guess I just got caught up in his little fantasy world. I can see why his fans become so rapt with him, he had a sort of magic about him. Hypnotic, almost. But no...not a good fit for me." But that wasn't how he really felt, was it? He had truly loved Shou, and he could tell Shou cared about him. He knew Sai loved him in return. Why was he saying these things? Pausing, Jun shook his head, as if trying to clear it of something. "Yeah, I can definitely do the talking. It was scary as s**t out there, I'll admit. I can add some nice pleas for donations and a few tears for all those poor lost lives and such. But I could totally handle doing a small set, even on such short notice. Unless you have something you'd rather me be doing, of course. Either way...I want my Naoko back. Ryuukaze is a dim wit who isn't fit for my little kitten. Granted, he's pretty to look at and has a great voice...and a**. I'll give him that. I just think...he could be much happier elsewhere." Hide it, Hide it

Well...that had been...kind of unexpected. Last thing he would have thought was that Jun would come back from losing Shou and immediately want Naoko back...but he could kind of understand it. Grief would make people do all sorts of things. At least he had taken the rejection in stride. Still...Ryu felt bad for the man. "He'll be ok, eventually, I'm sure. At least he didn't do anything weird. Now let's get out there and have a blast. I'm gonna get you soooooo drunk." ~( I’m here )~ Soba ni iru wa~

Nezumi trembled, gazing up at the taller man standing so close to him. Those dark eyes, like fine chocolates, melting into him. That attractive smirk...the deep voice that beckoned to him.
Being told he had soft hands...that Hiroki would enjoy his company...well...maybe he should just go for it, right here, right now, and see what happens.
Closing his eyes, the mouse was about to lean up and go in for a kiss with the man....when a hand clamped down on his shoulder, causing his eyes to go wide and a shrill shrieking noise to escape from his throat.
"Ahhhhhhhh! Yu...Yu....Yuuji-san!" Nezumi stuttered, his face red, heart beating like a terrified small animal.
"You startled me. Ah....well...yes, that is very, very good news. I'm not sure if I should tell Narcissus-san, though. While positive, it might only serve to hurt him further if things do not have a good outcome in the end." he said, wagging his finger in an oddly Izzy-like manner.
"Well...maybe I should be going, though. I do have calls to make, if nobody needs me.....for anything else." he grinned, turning around and heading for the door.

"Dead?" Yes, Izo was in denial and it would take awhile for that to pass even if the self preservation light had been turned on and he was planning rather quickly ways to replace him. "Well if he is, you'd going to have to beef up your performances Hayato-kun. Start focusing on an album and prepare to tour."
"So he's that cold eh? Mmm...always thought he'd be kind of...different. Well that's true enough. Shou never had much of an attention span unless it was his music or his business. You were pretty much up against a wall there, Hayato-kun." he laughed and tapped his cigar again on the tray.
"Affectionate? You?" he chuckled a bit not believing a word. "That's rich. But you know a few affectionate moments does make you more popular with the fans. You should use that as a career builder every once in awhile. Although, Shou's magic was hard to beat. Not too hard to get caught up in it. That's what makes his fans so rabid."
"However, as far as a set. Talk with the crew there and your backup. Yamada-san I think is helping out with that venue since they are a part of Shou's backup. Mm...I might have to move him to a different star. We will see."
He stood up and tapped the cigar and set it to rest in the ashtray; dead and gray. "Well if you want Naoko back and want my support...You better step up and make your name shine again. Naoko is good right where he is....while Ryuukaze-san is shining. You eclipse him, I'll make a 'case' for the change. I might even give you some preliminary help in another manner depending on if I see you become really serious about your career."
Izo liked his money, bigger the money maker, the more interested in investing in that stars...pleasures no matter how base. "So its up to you. Basically, you make the grade....you got a shot at the pretty little kitty."
He glanced over at the window then walked over and stared out into the space over the city. Izo wondered if Hayato or Ryuukaze could ever eclipse Shou. Neither seemed to be the type to focus enough. Too interested in relationships than making great music.

(((OOC: I'm posting all my posts in one big long post because I'm trying to pack between postings, and this way I can answer everything then pack then come back and answer everything again, hehe.)))
Smirking, rather pleased with the startled reaction he had garnered from Nezumi, Yuuji shook his head. "I guess I'm being too hasty... I just want this to turn out okay in the end, I guess. I know Akihiko's lost all faith in Izzy and Shou being alive so... I'm just trying to keep an optimistic attitude for him."
When Nezumi had left though, Yuuji glanced at Hiroki, hand still on the man's shoulder. "What's got the mouse's tail in a knot?" he asked, curious as to why the other man had been so beet red and eager to make an exit.
"God, I know..." Naoko replied, leaning back in the seat with a contented sigh.
Ryu's car was always so comfortable...
"I even kind of subconsciously tempted him... just to see if he'd react... and nothing. Guess Jun really has changed..." he frowned for a moment. "Though... will it last? I mean, with Shou missing... what's to keep him stable? I've got you to keep me stable, after all... and Jun's... well... no friends, no family... guess he could find a bunch of groupies and have a little fun." the blond couldn't help but smirk at that idea.
But then his lover was talking about getting him drunk and Naoko started laughing. "Yes! Let's get me very very drunk. So drunk I don't remember what we did or... who." he teased, leaning over and planting a soft kiss to Ryu's cheek.
"But you're sitting all self consciously and..." but Nakai's protest was cut off and the blond laughed softly. "I'm not 'awesome'. I'm just me. YOU'RE the awesome one. I'd have gone batshit crazy by now if our spots were reversed."
He wasn't just meaning this deal with Izzy and Shou... but Chiyou's eyes too. Everything that had happened to the kid...
"I know! Lets go out and hit a club?!" Kai spoke up, seeming excited about the idea. "If you can see me, then you can dance with me, ne?" the blond winked.

"Yeah....I do need to get that album out. Not to mention tour prep. I can hammer it out in, say, three weeks after the benefit....so....a month? Tops. Then I can go on tour. How's that sound?" Hayato got up and slinked his way over to his boss's desk, parking his butt on the edge and leaning back. "I know, I know. Like I said...I got caught up in fantasy. It was like trying to court the Queen of England, though. I may as well have been making advances on a tree. a very pretty, sparkly tree." the vocalist chuckled, whipping his hair around his shoulder and looking at Izo. "Affectionate moments to become more popular? Never really thought about that. Hmmm....so...like...publicity stunts, only...not stunts, per-se...but more like...things to endear myself to the public? Well...perhaps I could do that. I think I need to alter my image a bit, anyway. What I've got going is a bit too...five years ago. Maybe I can borrow from Shou's work, a bit. Be more...theatrical? The people who buy the music these days seem to favor pretty and fantasy more than they do grit and goth. I'll keep it the same, only different, if you get what I mean." Hayato winked, slipping one leg over the other. "So...I have to outdo the "dragon" to get to the "kitten", hm? I think I can handle that. I'll talk with the crew tomorrow and see what I can arrange for next week. Anything else you wanna discuss, boss?" Hide it, Hide it

"I think he's just focused on something he's interested in." was Hiroki's answered simply. Of course, he didn't say what and it could have been anything. "So where did they find the survivor?" he asked switching the subject to something away from Nezumi.

Yuuji smirked, "And here after what happened with you and Akihiko..." but he let that comment hang in the air.
The man wasn't blind, after all.
He'd seen that gentle caress of the cheek, even if both men were just going to play it off.
"Get this," Takagi continued, changing the topic as he put his arm around Hiroki's shoulders as if telling him a secret. "The man was on the beach and he said that a Japanese guy... kept him from getting killed in the initial quake. Saved his life really. Now... who do we know that was on the beach... and was Japanese. Might I add that the man said this Japanese savior... spoke English."
