hmm i wouldnt know i dont have any frost salts but i can always go get some it might take a few weeks for me to travel there cause the salts only appear in the frozen wate lands of antartica or in the middle of volcanoes very difficult to find but so much fun to play with or very useful for war type magics *hands you some fire salts*
if you are any good with latin you should have no problem using the fire salts
just remember the more of the fire salts you use the more powerful the effect and hat you need to say the spell in latin and make a hand gesture for your spell as you cast(hand gesture involves the throwing of the fire salts)
for example if you wanted a fire ball you would say fire and ball in latin as you make a throwing motion similar to throwing a baseball or other thrown things

*walks into the great hall with a ton of sand floating behind him
*dumps the sand all over creating a nice hot beach atmosphere
*enchants the sand so it cant me removed from the great hall with a pssword that only adonis knows me and the other heads of house know
*sets up lots of picnic like tables and chairs
*makes a tiki bar in school colors that serves tropical version of butterbear

Amelia Grey walks into the great hall and began removing all the webs that had collected in the wonderful place. By the time she was done it was a giant blob that looked like cotton candy. "I hope no one tries to eat this, haha"....She looked around, the great hall was sparkly and clean.
