YoukaiLuvr Steel Sterling YoukaiLuvr Here's another fun little one (TNG): According to Will in Contagion, "Fate protects fools, little children, and ___________." Fill in the blank. Source:Jill Sherwin. The Definitive Star Trek Trivia Book, Volume II. Pocket Books; New York. 2001. Pg. 180. Very famous line. mrgreen Of course it is...why do you think I chose it? xd Feel like answering? I was just honoring my own rule about giving other people a chance to answer, so the non-regulars might have a chance.
"Fate protects fools, small children, and ships named Enterprise." I sometimes flash to that quote at odd moments. smile

YoukaiLuvr Here's another (possibly a bit tougher....): Which runabout was the only one to survive the entirety of the Deep Space Nine series run? Source:Jill Sherwin. The Definitive Star Trek Trivia Book, Volume II. Pocket Books; New York. 2001. (P.S. Do you guys think these questions are too easy? I was trying not to get into the really abstract stuff, but I don't know if I went to the opposite end of the spectrum....
I can't remember the answer to this... at least not at the moment, so I don't think they're too easy. You can always try mixing some easy ones and some harder ones so there's variety.

It's not that this one is too easy, but it's one I posted before.

Was I able to answer it then or was my mind as blocked as now?

Sorry Steel...didn't realize you had posted it before.
And about the rifles...I don't think the Cardassian rifles have different settings, do they?
I would sit and think about it more, but I gotta get my butt to class...which starts in about 5 minutes....

Maddy Steel Sterling NEW question. The Federation and Cardassians both make phaser rifles. What are the practical differences in use between them? No one else seems to know the answer so... Cardassian rifles are simpler but more resistant. Can't remember the correct quote, but there was something about going through mud with them and the rifles being still functional afterwards.
CORRECT!
"This is a standard issue, Cardassian phase-disruptor rifle. It has a four-point-seven megajoule power capacity... three millisecond recharge and two beam settings." "This is a good weapon... solid and simple. You can drag it through the mud and it'll still fire."
"Now this is an entirely different animal. It's Federation standard issue. A little less powerful, but with more options... sixteen beam settings... fully autonomous recharge... multiple target acquisition... gyrostablized...the works. It's more complicated, so it's not as good a field weapon. Too many things can go wrong."
