Ai landed, glancing back at the defeated sableye and the horde of crawling shadows that thankfully weren't following them. Other pokemon had entered the chamber as well and were fighting, but surprisingly enough the sableye had not swarmed everyone. The way they peeled off to fight each group or even pokemon that were by themselves... they were probably making sure to maximize how many of the visiting pokemon they could attack. It would be a good idea to not linger, in case the Sableye changed their minds.
Ai huffed when she turned back to find Radium had zipped ahead again. Exasperated, she chuckled and followed after the others- at least this time Radium didn't go too far.

Ulani's gasp of amazement, along with her attempt at trying her own spinning, followed by the Sableye's hasty retreat was viewed in parts, spinning, disorientating parts; as much as she loved using Petal Dance, its one downside was that, once she started spinning she couldn't stop until the opponent was down or until she grew too dizzy to keep trying. Since the Sableye was still kicking, and her nausea had yet to set in, she raised her hand up, bringing the petals further up off the ground, and sent another flurry of them at the crystal thief. It, along with Ulani's previous attack, was enough to making the pokemon unsteady on its feet and take a less-than-graceful tumble back onto the floor.
Which was fine with her! It made getting back her crystal all the easier now.

After her attack, Vivace had the great pleasure of watching Dotty attack, and finish off the Sableye -- finally. Despite its, annoying, tenacity Dotty's strike of thunder was enough to put an end to it. She cheered, simultaneously placing her stubs back onto Ai's back, but the sound petered out into a confused, "huh?", when Radium shot off like a rocket up the next staircase; honestly, she was like a little yellow blur. It was kind of concerning, but funny too, plus she didn't get too far ahead! As they cleared the final step -- she said 'they' like she'd done anything to help, but really it was Ai who was doing all the walking -- she set her sights on Radium, and Piper, both of whom were filling their arms with candy. "Will she really be affected by the sugar though? Since this is a dream and all," Vivace asked, overhearing Piper's advice to the hyper mouse.

Chickpea was rather proud of his attack, and it showed from the large grin he wore. But that grin quickly turned into a soft frown when the Sableye skirted around Sir Mogwai to attack Dune. Luckily, he didn't get the chance, as Dune tossed a pile of rocks its way, and Sir Daphnes quickly finished it off. "We were so awesome, guys! Just like real knights!" Probably, he still didn't know what knights were. He gave a curious chirp when Sir Mogwai approached him, then gasped as his feet were lifted off the ground. He looked from the ground to Sir Mogwai, his eyes wide, before laughing excitedly, he'd never really been picked up before, and never by a pokemon so large! It was nice being up so high, and then, just like that, they were all moving, and at a pace he couldn't have ever accomplished himself.
Chickpea laughed, very much enjoying the situation, but once they made it up the stairs and Sir Mogwai lowered himself down, he politely hopped down to the ground. As fun as it'd been being carried, and run with, he didn't want to make the brave knight carry him all the way. Besides, you couldn't explore new areas from the shoulders of a giant! Not well, at least.

Argo kept an eye out for an opening for him. There was no way he was dumb enough to get in Allure's way. Luckily, Allure created the perfect opportunity for him, sending the sableye up in the air at him. The wingull used air cutter, then quickly finished it of with a burst of water from his beak, sending it crashing into a stalactite where it disappeared into a shadowy puff. His feathers puffed up in pride over his great work, also secretly admiring how well Allure had executed her attacks.

Daiki barely even registered Fi's thanks towards him, struggling with the feeling of attacking. It was still tiring in a strange way. He slumped a bit as he tried to muster up enough strength to strike out again, but it ended up being Fi that finished off the sableye. The zoroark let out a sigh, the energy crackling through his fur dying down slowly. He was left crouching a bit as he recovered, leaving the scolding up to Fifi. The Braixen was more well suited for it, anyways.
"Yeah, the way forward has got to be near..." Daiki finally piped in, now back to his feet and peering around in the dark. He moved forward and sure enough, he saw the beginnings of a staircase in the darkness between two big crystals. "Looks like it's over here." he commented to the others, leading the way over to the staircase. He'd start ascending once everyone was ready.

Ammy tilted her head as the sableye then tried to crawl away, almost feeling bad for it. Then she remembered it wasn't the same as another real pokemon like her and Gail. It was just some nightmare pokemon trying to keep her from her tasty treats! As soon as Gail had it pinned, she jumped forward and bit the ghost hard, it disappearing much like the drifloon from before had. Ah.... it didn't drop any food. "Thanks Gail! We sure make a great team, huh?" Ammy commented, tail wagging. Now the path ahead was clear for them, and they could continue.

"Hm?" It seemed that, as he sniffed around, Samson had found something odd. Daemon drew closer so his flames could illuminate the object better, though he was careful to not actually damage anything. The arcanine had come across an odd metal box connected to something leading up into the darkness. When Samson declared his theory of what the strange object was and electricity sparked across his teeth, Daemon was already wincing in anticipation of what was going to happen. Sure enough, the arcanine got a jolt in return for jumpstarting the power, thankfully not inflicting any real harm but certainly making the fluffy dog's fur poof up from electricity.
A low hum filled the air after Samson's experiment and suddenly, a flicker of light appeared above. A bulb, dimly shining with temporary power, hung from a wire above the duo. A second bulb further down the tunnel also began to glow, and several others beyond that. Sparks also showered down from above where bulbs were either broken or missing completely. Although the light dimmed the further down the tunnel the string of mining lights went, it was enough that both Samson and Daemon could see the path in front of them. With a chuckle at the arcanine's renewed enthusiasm, Daemon chased off after him.

Cling grimaced and drew back as the sableye tried to jump at him. He closed his eyes, and withdrew, and for a moment, it almost looked like he was giving up-- but an electric shock streaked out, and hit the pokemon instead. The klow opened his eyes and lifted himself up, breathing hard. It seemed Dice was done with his fight.... and thankfully, this one looked almost over.

Well. That was that. Dice pummeled the Sableye, and even as it tried to melt away and escape, it received a good few final whacks. The little tot was free to move on, and it seemed even those shadowy forms that remained were... keen on giving it a good birth of space to do so.

Eugh! An electric shock to the face, and the Sableye stumbled back, but stood its ground. It stared with glistening eyes, its grin faltering to a slight, open mouthed frown. It wasn't doing great... and it was well aware of the less than pleasant state of its cohort that had taken on the little cubone off to the side. But, still... it had enough left in it to continue to do its job, at least for now.

Any efforts the Sableye threw, were foiled, and with a final blow, it shuddered. Finally, it began to waver, and its very form shook and shivered, before beginning to degrade, and melt away. For Noah and the ivysaur, the path was clear, as the last of the shadowy guardian dissipated from view.

The Sableye shook and shuddered under Gail's grasp, moving in a glitchy fashion. White teeth, in an open frown, were visible against its shadowy form, before its entire body jolted as Ammy bit down. It went still, then, finally, dissipated, shadows rending away, and fading from view.

With a barrage of attacks, the Sableye let out a screech. It backed away, violently shaking its head, before lifting it in another howl of defeat. With one final cry, it shuddered, and then slumped, form melting down into shadow, before fading, as the area lightened, and the group was allowed to move forward.

And perhaps, targeting the dunsparce had not been a good idea. As the sableye tried to rush, it was hit with a powerful blow of rocks, and subsequently bit down upon, hard. It gave a guttural, pained groan, one of its gem eyes cracking as it faltered. It shook again, then, melted away, disappearing into the shadows of the cave.
Fianna, Shade, Daiki, and Xiao Lan vs. Guardian Sableye 8 HP 0/5
It didn't take much to finish the Sableye off. Just like that, the same passionate fire pokemon that had first struck it, finished it off, and it turned at her with a hiss as she swung. The power of her punch glinted off its eyes, before she hit, and it was knocked back, hitting the wall and smashing several of the stones. It slumped, its body melting into shadows as some flames licked around its disintegrating form.
Ulani and Prim vs. Guardian Sableye 9 HP 1/5
From its perch, the Sableye snickered as one of the pokemon tried to dance, and mimic its companions performance. It went still, though, as it was promptly called out on this, and tried to scramble out of the way as it was subsequently attack. Failing to get in the clear, it yelped out, tumbled down, and was left vulnerable for Prim's following flower attack. But, it was still able to shakily climb to its feet, a bit dizzy on its own from all the attacks, and displaces.

As Adventurers Progress....
Climbing to the next level, its almost hard to tell when things open up, as soggy, bogged down trees hang low and crowded together, blocking out any sign of the sky. Vines and wet moss hang from branches burdened with thick leaves. The ground beneath is muddy, and dank, and a decaying earthy scent burns at the nose. It's almost hard to believe this is all still a dream, as moisture clings to the skin, and the swampy ground sucks at each footsteps.
There appear to be a few paths amongst the trees, all leading forward, but who knows what may be found down any of them...

Ulani watched as Prim gave another launch of petals at the Sableye, giggling a bit as the ghost responded in a less than thrilled manner. The thing seemed dizzy from the fall. She watched though as it turned and started to attempt it’s retreat into the darkness, still clutching the crystal that Prim had been attempting to collect.
"Hey! Give flower back her shiny rock!" She snapped, quickly scrambling to her feet, cheeks puffing out further. Before the ghost even had a chance to hiss, she seemed to teleport from her spot across the cave to right before the Sableye, tackling the creature off its feet. It gave a yelp, crystal going flying as it went tumbling head over heels into the dark. It was done with this mess. Ulani shook off the daze from her rather forceful tackle, looking about and spotting the rock on the ground just nearby.
"Oh!" She scrambled over and retrieved it, quickly offering it up with both hands to Prim. "Here flower! I scared off the Darkrai and got your rock back!" She grinned, clearly proud of her accomplishments.

Noah watched with a level of impressed awe at the combo maneuvers between Argo and Allure as they handled their own Sableye. It was pretty darn impressive to watch, and it was clear that they didn’t need any help on his or Raf’s part. Good to see the team could hold their own. He tucked his shells back in their places, looking to Raf and giving a little gesture that they ought to rejoin the others.
"Tha’ was a bloodeh amazin’ figh’!" He commented once in ear shot, giving a grin and a thumbs up. He even glanced up to Argo, wherever he was at this point. "Even you birdo."
Dice huffed as the Sableye faded and the way was cleared for him. He’d lost sight of Cling at this point and despite toddling in a circle, couldn’t seem to locate the Klow and his battle, instead choosing to stumble up the stairs that had magically appeared. He had to think about it but decided to start the climb up the stairs and wait up top; he could use the height to gain sight of the other pokemon as well as a waiting place. That was the most he could do for now.

Prim began to slow herself down after glimpsing the Sableye's defeat, she couldn't just automatically stop, and as her momentum died down her petals began slowly drifting down to the cave floor. By the time she did manage to stop, one hand clutching the side of her head while the world spun around her, she stood in the middle of a circle of flowers. She blinked, breathed in slowly, and once she'd regained her equilibrium she set her sights onto Ulani.
Oh! Prim broke out into a grin when she saw what the squirrel held in her paws, before she swooped in to hug her; she was the best! Afterwards she took the crystal, and held it up to the light for an inspection. Despite its rough handling (honestly, that Sableye had no right to handle it like it had) not a scratch had been made, and while it wasn't the biggest crystal it was a decently sized. Plus, hints of warped rainbow glinted off it when she spun it around. It was perfect, and worth the effort it took to retrieve it!
With a smile Prim offered the crystal back to Ulani, eager for her to take it. After all, she'd only done this because Ulani had shown great interest in retrieving one.

It seemed the bird did in fact know how to carry his own weight. Having missed him in action on the previous floor, the dragon was rather delighted to see Argo end the insufferable gremlin. She nodded in Argo's direction, before turning her gaze to Noah. "It was more or less." She replied. Returning her gaze forward, she could hear the sounds of battles all over proceeding, they themselves seemed to of made a point and were no longer being targeted. At least, for the time being.
